"Rooms are clean with adequate room to stay comfortably for several days. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging. Had to ask for kettle and cup for the room, which were quickly supplied. Unfortunately, the restaurant upstairs is only open for breakfast, but if you ask, they will bring something up for you. The rooftop pool is a great place to relax. The hotel is within easy walking distance of most things in Fort Kochi. would stay there again."

"We loved our stay at the Tea Bungalow, which was our first hotel in India. The rooms are spacious and cool, providing an excellent escape from the heat of Kochi. It is within walking distance of historic Fort Cochin, and we even walked to Mattancherry from there (though we'd recommend a taxi or tuk-tuk after spending most of the morning walking!). Breakfast by the pool every morning was luxurious. It included tea or coffee, eggs, and fresh fruit. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They always had cold water for us (we found out at checkout that we were being charged for these waters, which is only fair). The room was cleaned every day. The bed was large and relatively comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious. With both air conditioning and a fan, we had complete control over the room's temperature. And because the bungalow is relatively spread out, it is a very quiet, secluded experience. We highly recommend the Tea Bungalow for a stay in Fort Cochin!"

"I was traveling to Fort Kochi with a friend for a short stay enroute to a wedding. Hotel Arches is a beautiful, quaint, and well-maintained hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by warm and friendly staff with a welcome drink. Our room was clean, and bathroom spotless. The AC and fan worked, though the power generator occasionally went off for a minute or two (but this was the norm in a lot of other buildings I was in in that area. Nonetheless, I gave Facilities only 4 stars for this but it's only a slight annoyance that subsequently became endearing). On our last day in Fort Kochi, we had a late night flight. The hotel staff let us check-out way past our check-out time and allowed us the use of the restaurant bathroom, and hotel lounge. They tried in every way to make us comfortable. They also helped arrange our taxis to and from the hotel. Everything ran smoothly. The location of Hotel Arches is AWESOME. It's only steps away from streets after streets of hipster cafes, craft stores, and the beach. The hotel restaurant has excellent food, I think better than many of the restaurants in the area. I tried the breakfast masala and plain dosas (not listed on menu but available), Kerala chicken curry, Kerala fish curry, and the special Kerala fish grill wrapped in banana leave. All of them were delicious, and made with very high quality ingredients (chicken breast meat and chunky thick fish fillets were used). Although the weather was crappy when I was in Fort Kochi, the hospitality of the staff of Hotel Arches and the charm of the architecture made our stay an extremely pleasant one."

"One of the key attributes of Kochi is its diverse culture. Fort Kochi is the hub of it. And Fort Kochi Beach Inn is in the hub. From Churches to Art galleries, from Wall arts to Museums, from Sea shore to Cafes, all are at a distance of 5 minutes by walking. Must visit. The staffs are very helpful and cooperative as well. You can order from Swiggy/Zomato/Uber Eats in the hotel itself. "
