Free breakfast, nice staff and hot water
We arrived late at night, about 10:30pm. The front door was locked, but the manager saw us being dropped off on the side of the building. He unlocked the door and we went into the reception. Everything was incredibly dated. The carpet was is bad, bad condition. It looked as though it hasn't been vacuumed in a long time. I was asked to fill out a guest card, and one of the sections wanted my passport number. I refused to give it, and no issues were raised. We get our key and head to the room. The stairs, oh man, horrible... the tackiest carpet I have ever seen, trash, debris and hair all over the floors. Everything creaked when you walked. We walked down the TINIEST-width hallway I have ever seen. It was about as wide as a medium suit case. We walked to the room and were shocked. The room was so tiny. We had a full size bed, and a twin bed. You just have to look at the pictures to understand. It was deplorable. There was a kettle with tiny teacups, just a few packets of sugar and milk. The door to our bathroom had been punched, and the hole had not been repaired. There was toilet paper stuck to the ceiling. Our toilet had the wrong size seat on it and it pinched. The whole room was just in bad condition. The sheets were stained, the fountain in front didn't run, and was filled with algae, our window to the room didn't lock [which was a little frightening considering we were on the terrace balcony. The walls were so thin. My fiancé and I whispered the entire time we were in the room, and we heard every single person coming through the hallway. The doors squeeked, floor creaked and there were banging noises all hours. The beds weren't comfortable. Just an overall bad experience.
