Budget friendly and GREAT location”
If you're looking for a budget friendly, excellent location hotel/hostel, this place is it! There are no frills here- standard rooms, with standard showers, standard amenities. The location is absolutely awesome- right by all the shops, restaurants, Chinese fishnets and other sightseeing locations. While the restaurant isnt the best in town, its very convenient to have a place right in your hotel that can provide water, juice and a snack when you please. This was our 2nd time staying and would probably come back if traveling through Kochi on the same budget.

we had a great stay at the four seasons hotel in cochin. the room was very clean and the bed comfertable. we even had a television with all the satelite channels. the best shower in india. the breakfast was good; eggs, toast, coffee/tea and a fruit juice or an indian breakfast. the location is perfect. close to the chinese fishing nets and restaurants/bars. so a good place specially for the price

Not as advertised”
My sister and I chose the Four Seasons based on its decent reviews and good location but were quite disappointed upon arrival to see our small and dingy "Deluxe AC room." We asked to confirm that our room was in fact the deluxe room, and it was. It really looked nothing like the photos. The AC and TV worked well, and the hotel is definitely in the center of Fort Kochi, but everything else was a disappointment. The bathroom came with no toilet seat and was overall not a comfortable space. Some of the rooms may be able to pick up the fickle signal from the restaurant, but our room had no connectivity. The bed linens were thin, tattered, and stained, and everything in the rooms is quite rundown. The "view" from our room was not the city as the photos show but rather garbage. The power outlets in our room were somehow stuck and did not support an adapter. We were also generally unimpressed with the service, although airport transfers were handled smoothly. One of the owners didn't seem to care at all about our desire to do a tour and they lost our business as a result. They also failed to explain to us that you must leave your key to have your room cleaned, and the one time we did we were told that this service was finished for the day. The main waiter was friendly, but the breakfast does not even include tea or coffee. We heard in town that this place is known not to be quality, and there are far better places to stay for what you pay here. I do not plan to return and wish I had stayed somewhere different for my vacation in Kochi.

the hotel tends to attract mostly singles and couples. the food, cleanliness and service is excellent.the staff at all levels went out of their way to accommodate our requests. the shower is in the same area as the toilet. however the toilet/shower area is extremely clean. room was airy.

This hotel has tremendous unutilised potential”
The first impression was bad because the staff were not expecting us (as if the information from agoda.com wasn't conveyed to the hotel staff). We had to wait for some one hour and when the owner arrived he informed that since one of the previous guests had fallen ill and stayed back, they would be able to provide us just one but bigger, supposedly 'premium,' room out of a booking of total two. We decided to share the one bigger room for a day and got the second room on the second day. The second room provided on the second and last day of our stay was cleaner and better maintained than the previous one. But the first one, the unkempt room, made its mark in more ways than one: most important way was that one of our companions got sick (we now could empathize with the previous guest who stayed back, forcing us to take the unkempt room). Food quality was good and we got the impression that the hotel staff take more care towards the restaurant rather than the hotel. I suppose with little effort they can provide much better service for the hotel also. The owner was generous in providing the AC service 'supposedly' without extra charge as a compensation for not providing complete accommodation on day one. Overall, the stay was slightly better than average mostly because the location of this hotel is excellent, with all the nearby buildings, hotels, restaurants, bakeries, etc preserving the old world charm and heritage and at the same time providing modern goods, eatables and services.

Overpriced”
Right in the fort of cochin, in the backpackers street, you could say. Hotel is clean but very simple and without any atmosphere. Rooms with bed and TV, thats it. Management are friendly boys, but without experience, it looks more like a project hotel lacking a concept. No hot water for shower( not installed at all), but hot water for the sink. Bathroom very basic and in need of renovation. Not bad, but for that price much too expensive

Basic. You get what you pay for. I think the photo of the back courtyard was taken 10 years ago. Good location but the noise from the restaurant and the staff shouting in the hall outside your door is a bit tiresome

This hotel is in a great location and is connected to a restaurant which has great food. The rooms are great sizes and are relatively clean but could use a good deep clean. The main receptionist though seems to be overwhelmed and the wasn't able to help at times.

Our stay was short but nice. Pick up service from the airport, hospitality, good food and music make this little cosy place a piece of home where to rest after a long tiring journey. Recommended also for the location which is strategic to readh the main point of interests of the city.
