Very basic. It's OK.
The room is good. Don't expect too much for the price you pay. The staff will not help you carry your luggage upstairs, there's no lift in the building, so ask for a room on a lower floor if you have heavy luggage. They will also not clean your room or change the sheet or towels, unless you request for it. Always close the glass doors of the balcony if you don't want to sleep with mosquitoes. Upon check-in you are required to give Thb500 as a security deposit, beware because almost everything in the room seems to be broken already like the wash basin and the chair in the balcony. Upon check-out, they will check the room and will try to make you pay for the broken stuff. Over all, I got what I paid for, no fancy anything. Very basic. It's OK. But maybe, I will not stay there the next time I go to Bangkok. Simply because, the staff are not hospitable, not even smiling.

Can't complain
Just don't expect too much and it's a decent place to crash in the Kao San area.

Great balcony rooms!
There are different rooms. The balcony rooms are great! It's a pleasant, but simple Guest House with helpful people, all for a reasonable price, at a good location. I would recommend it and stay here again!

Good Location, poor accommodation
Hotel has no elevator, we have to climb the stairs and nobody helps you with your bags. No ref., hotel food is expensive. Hotel staff are not friendly, except for the one lady at the reception. They will require you to deposit 500 THB in case you break anything. But then you'll get scared as a lot of things were already broken: shower holder, broken tiles, glasses and other stuff that were numbered from a different room, etc. They will also not clean your room or give you fresh towels unless you tell them so. Location is good, has nearby restaurants, massage, 7-11, etc. just few minutes away from Khao San Rd., but is not noisy.

Nice location
I think this place is a good value for the money if you want to be in the area but in a nicer, quieter place. There is no elevator, however.

This place was totally fine.
I booked this place for its location, in spite of some negative reviews. I'm glad I did because I did not find any of the negative comments to be true when I was there. Well, okay... there is no elevator.

Ok for short stay
My room was 404, 4th floor without elevator, very small room and bath, mattress and pillow in strange material somewhat plastic but with a/c is ok, nice to have a balcony. Clean and good position for exploring the neighborhood.
