Great location, spacious rooms ”
All we needed was a spacious clean safe place with simple breakfast, pool near the beach and the 14 roses does all that and more. Great value for money 100 meters from Legian beach with loads of cheap, reasonable, and good restaurants & bars near close to the airport there was no need to hire bikes or cars. If you want to go see the site go early to avoid the traffic.

Great value budget hotel near the beach”
This hotel suits those who want a small hotel 100 meters from the beach with the basics, a pool, aircon, hot water, international TV stns, close to nice restaurants. The staff are friendly & helpful, the hotel is secure and clean and the pool is cool with enough tropical green surrounds. While the building is old it is well maintained, my only con is some bede are old and easily fixed with a pillow to flatten.

Great budget hotel”
Great hotel near the beach. Simple cheap breakfast is good value for a couple (I would like more variety but its so cheap we cant ask for more than) eggs, toast, fruit, rice or noodles coffee or tea, juice (cordial). Its has what we need and some things we want, which is 100 meters from the beach for our early morning & late afternoon walk & body surf, deep cool pool, quiet 10 & 30 meters off the main street surrounded by good and cheap restaurants. Helpful friendly staff safe and secure close to the airport. Wifi is as good as everywhere else, the TVs & beds are getting old but still usable.

Good to be back. ”
After 2 years away and the hotel closed most of that time it’s good to be back. For us it’s location near the beach and our favourite restaurants are open, and of course the the clean quiet location friendly helpful staff and management make our stay great. We enjoy the simple things in life here, a good bed, a cool pool, a warm shower and bath, cold Airconding, and did I say quiet location. Great wifi a TV and fridge in the room etc etc is all we need. Renovations are done quietly with any disturbance to us or other guests.

Great 3 star hotel by the beach. ”
As regulars we like the secure quiet location so close to the beach and pool. The rooms are spacious and have the basics we need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a changing selection and good vale also.

Stayed here for a few hours while waiting for our flight. Great pool, basic accommodation , no wifi in the room we were in which was disappointing. Lovely pool. good location.

Always enjoy our stays at Fourteen Roses although I was disappointed to not have a ground floor room despite a request and booking months in advance. Otherwise stay was fine although they can't seem to get it all together at breakfast. E.G. there was juice but often no glasses and tea but no teaspoons, although staff were willing to rectify this when asked. I do feel that you shouldn't have to ask. Love the nice cool swimming pool and friendly staff.

Great stay only complaint is pillows are hard and big. Friendly staff changed mine to better suited however still uncomfortable. Not a big complaint, very happy with this property, staff are so friendly.

Enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located behind the Pullman 5 min to the beach . Staff were very helpful and friendly. My one down side was the breakfast pretty much the same everyday I would not get again. A nice courtyard pool and quite location. I would stay again.

Would go again, if you are looking for something a bit special this is not the hotel for you, no pool towels, breakfast adequate, no hairdryer or Iron not even on request. I would go back as the price location and staff are good.

Nothing works, dangerous vare electrical wires in room”
Would never stay again. Terrible room, filthy bathroom, stained and threadbare sheets and one thin towel. Bare live wires, phone didn't work, air con broken, cistern inoperable, some light bulbs out etc etc etc. I notified staff of cats outside the room fighting over a room service tray left out all night, went on a day trip and thr food and rat were still there, 13 hours later! Restaurant can take up to 45mins to make a meal, if they dont forget it altogether! One other guest described the place to me on arrival, as the equivalent of Faulty Towers, and after staying a few days, now I agree. I checked out early and went elsewhere.

Pool is the best thing about the place ”
Mould & stains in the bathroom, bathtub chipped. AC not working properly whole time. Electrical points hanging out of walls. hotel linen ripped and stained. Definitely not at 3 star hotel. Pool was the best thing about it.
