Very dated, musty, and noisy”
While the price was good… upon entering our allocated unit we were hit with a musty, dusty, unloved smell and old furnishings in disrepair. Due to the age of the building the movement noise from the living quarters above was very noticeable too. We ended up foregoing our second night and found somewhere else in the area to stay.

Hello Sam, We are most concerned and disappointed to read your review. It always our intention to provide comfortable accommodation, we take your feedback seriously. This is how we are addressing your concerns. The first comment was found to be somewhat misleading, however a plumber was called who checked the drainage, pipes, hot water cylinders at the rear of the property and even used a meter to check the interior walls, all came back negative. I note that you both arrived at separate times. We also even asked the following guests to monitor, they only noticed a slight whiff of cleaning products. We are spreading the TLC The lower bracket on the heated towel rail has been repaired, the temporary hairdryer has been replaced. we have ordered a posh new pair of bedside cabinets and replaced the old fan. Our housekeeping staff have rearranged the Kitchen utensils and have been asked to check daily. Regards John

This motel is very central to the shops, bars, restaurants, wharf etc all within walking distance. The owner was super friendly.

Just the best!”
This place was retro themed but included all the mod cons. Our room was spacious and clean and I loved the retro feel. Location was the best, beachfront and a one minute walk to shops and the wharf. The Manager was friendly and accommodating, I phoned in to say we’d be late checking in so our room was prepped for our very late arrival. We are so pleased we booked here it made our Paihia stay just the best!

Great location in Paihia. Very warm & friendly greeting on arrival. Accommodation extremely clean and had a range of facilities to cater to all requirements with good cooking equipment available to utilise if not wanting to dine out regularly. Don’t be deterred by older style exterior of motel (design not maintenance) as rooms themselves are certainly ok. Would definitely recommend.

Although super clean this is an old 70’s style motel . I loved it having a kitchenette so we could have breakfast coffee etc with the groceries we’d bought. Supermarkets close by. Right next door to rayz bar so could enjoy a cold beer . I just thought for the amount of money we paid compared to our previous accomodations on this trip , the place wouldn’t have been so old . Staff helpful

The motel is good location around 5 to 10 minutes walk to the wharf and eateries. We stay there 2 nights, there was housekeeping on second day, which we don't expect. Parking is just right in front of the unit that we are staying. There is a small kitchenette in the unit, equipped with microwave, kettle, induction cooker, small oven, utensils.

We stayed 3 nights in this family owned motel, with all the comforts of home and friendly and helpful hosts (the owners). The location is brilliant, being on the main road just a few minutes walk from the town centre and jetty, and with views of the bay across the road. Very quiet, very clean, very pleasant and very reasonably priced. Les from Perth WA.

Perfect place to stay in Paihia!”
I highly recommend this plcae to anyone wanna stay in Paihia. The host is really friendly and helpful to us, and the room was really clean and cozy. The location was also perfect to go main block of Paihia (just 5 mins on foot). If you have a stay in this motel, you can see the beautiful sunset of beach shore, just in front of your room!
