Delightful ”

Lovely bungalow in impressive gardens. Situated roughly halfway between Chiang Mai and Fang. Owner (Phet, I think) speaks good English. The bungalow itself was very clean and comfortable. Although 1 tv channel in english would have been nice. A good restaurant 2km towards CM, on the right just past the army barracks.

Excellent Budget resort”

Really enjoyed the stay and the breakfast they provided . Breakfast don't have many option - mainly bread, egg, salads,etc.. Resort run by the owner and more like a family vacation place.

The owner was very hospitable and thoughtful. The included breakfast was copious and tasty. Everything was extra-clean and the garden is huge. The bed was a bit too hard for my tastes, but if you don't mind that, the rest is perfect.

Pat was very welcoming. We really enjoyed staying in one of his bungalow. The place is very nice with a fountain and a pond, the bungalows spacious and the breakfast was delicious.

This place is near perfect. The land is beautiful with decorations and a lake, the cottages are new and modern, the owner is super friendly and speaks fluent english and the breakfast they serve is great. Probably the nicest place we stayed in Thailand. All this for a very good price. Come stay here!

New, modern cottages situated around a flower and shrubbery filled pond in quiet rural area outside Chiangdao city. The rooms, all equipped with hot shower, TV, refrigerator ; are large and super clean with free Wi-Fi. Beds are comfortable. Some cottages even sport a sitting area on top of the roof. Owner is friendly and eager to help. Plenty of parking spaces. Simple breakfast is included. Very GOOD value . Highly recommended.

The place is a bit far from everything, which is fine if you have a ride. The owner was lovely, gave us lot of advice about what to visit, gave us a lift to town so we could rent a motorcycle, etc.

Very friendly owner who really takes care of his guests. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are brand new and fast WiFi. You need to have some kind of transport (motorbike, car) as the resort is 5km outside of Chiang Dao city.

Cute Hotel. Away on its own.”

The first thing we noticed about Baan Sri Chiangdao is that it is around 10km out of town, making it a little inconvenient for buying supplies and going out for meals. However, the location is peaceful and natural without any distractions. We could really relax here. The rooms are small and cute. The pink room we booked even has a balcony on the roof, where we could ease back on the reclining chairs and watch the sun dip behind the mountains. The owner was friendly and helped us with finding places to see and restaurants to eat at.

Sadly we only stayed at Baan Sri Chiangdao for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay! The owner was extremely welcoming and spoke English very well. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do in Chiang Dao. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were very cozy. It was a peaceful setting and we hope to return for a long weekend in the future.

I went back from trek and rest before transfer to Chiangmai. The owner brought us from mountain area by himself and service us as friends. There no have restaurant and proper kitchen for our dinner so he ordered local food to delivery without charge. The hotel located on the way to Fang with not so close to the city, if you have car will be great. Room has one main lighting so not so easy if you need to read before sleep.

Good place to relax, friendly owner”

The place is nice and really quiet. A good place to relax. Everything is brand new there, bungalows, the garden and the pond. Bungalows are super clean and fully functional, air con, tv and shower. The owner was really nice and available, he makes sure that everything goes well and he takes the time to talk about the area and things to do around. It is located a few kilometers away from the center of Chiang Diao, so you will need your own transport to get there. The caves are about 15 minutes away with a motorbike. There is no restaurant there but you can easily find one by moving in the center of Chiang Dao.
