Un superbe séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très accueillant et toujours très souriant. Un soir, le propriétaire est même venu s'asseoir avec nous pour discuter alors qu'on dinait sous la tonnelle du jardin. Ambiance conviviale et très sympathique.

les bungalows sontgrand (surtout ceux avec AC). Ils dont tres jolie et propres... surtout pour le prix. Pour aller au full moon party, c'est 10 min de taxis. Vous pouvez louer un scooter pour pas cher et vous promenez dans la ville. Le personnel est adorable. Le seul point negatif est la plage qui est lautre coté de la rue et pas du tout entretenu. Voila pourquoi il est bien de louer un scooter.

Great stay! ”

We stayed here for one night and it was lovely! The staff were all very friendly, welcoming us and showing us to our rooms. The room was clean and how the pictures showed. Only downfall was the shower...no hot water! With the heat in Thailand, I guess it's not too much of an issue. :)

Although it doesn't have a view on the sea, Bantai resort is a really nice and quiet place to stay at, close to many interesting parts of the island. You can rent a scooter nearby for 100/150 Baht, depending on how long you want it for. Bungalow was clean, not many insects to bother you, and helpful owner.

Clean, friendly staff, not far from the beach”

We stayed there during a fullmoon party. It's far enough away if your not interested in going there and a shared taxi costs 100 baht. To the beach its a 2 minutes walk. Food in the restaurant is afordable and tasty! We had some friends who stayed in another hotel. the manager didn't mentiob anything about that. When we went to visit our friends in their hotel, the staff kicked us out! I would go there again.

Generally a nice stay”

Our stay was mostly fine at Bantai Resort. However, given lack of availability, we only had the option of a fan room. This was fine, but what we were not advised was that none of the fan rooms have hot water, which was something we were pretty keen on. The fact this was not mentioned when we booked was off-putting. The rooms were otherwise simple but clean and okay -I think the airconditioned rooms may have been nicer, but again, we knew we were receiving the lower end of rooms. The staff were nice, the breakfast (which was included for us) was fantastic, and it was in a good location if you wanted to stay away from the noise in Haad Rin. I think we would stay there again, but definitely in an airconditioned room with hot water - even in those temperatures, jumping into a cold shower is hard!!

Very nice stay”

Very nice stay. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. Location is good for the main Pier at Thongsala and not too far from Haad Rin. The hammock on your bungalow decking is a nice touch. Only downfalls really are the shower facilities. Not very powerful and cold.

An excellent place to stay for Full Moon Party”

We had a 3 night stay here over Full Moon Party. Comfortable room- A little hot due to no a/c but no problem once window open. Lovely hammock on the balcony which was great to relax in. Clean rooms. Staff extremely helpful with booking our onwards travel and gave us a free lift to the port. Lovely, quiet resort which is great value for money.

Good hotel with decent service”

The room was of a decent standard and the bungalow itself was nice. The hammock outside was a nice touch. The grounds are also very attractive and it's a nice, quiet location. The location is a little far from certain attractions, but songthaews are easy to flag down. There are a handful of bars/restaurants and it's a bit of a walk to find a decent beach. The service throughout our stay was very good and everyone we dealt with was very friendly. The place is run by, what seems like, a family, who all seem very nice. Their restaurant serves pretty good food and they have a decent travel service, also. For the price, over Full Moon time, the place was very good.

Nice cheap hotel w very friendly stuff! We were on koh phangan to celebrate new year! And this hotel had good location, not on the party beach haad rin but with 100 baht taxi it takes 10 min to haad rin!

Clean and basic room”

A basic wooden hut with a hammock on the porch. Location was ok but you need a Ped to get anywhere really. The shop at the end of the driveway is great for hiring one, we had no problems with them. Staff were friendly when we asked. For things.

great service but beds very hard”

The staff were very friendly and spoke pretty good english. The only thing I would like to mention is the fact that the beds are very thin and hard.
