Best place for pet lovers”

Prime location, small and personal, not flash but functional, full kitchen and separate bedroom, all with internal and external access. One of the few places welcoming travellers with dog or cat companions. Best deal in town, easily.

Motel was great but some traffic noise”

The motel and its location was ideal with easy access to restaurants, ferries and groceries if required. Only warning is that it is on the corner of the main road and a steep side street. We found it very noisy the first night but slept well the following night. Overall a very convenient place to stay.

No aircon was the big minus for this place because in summer it will be very hot but despite of that everything are okay, location is near eating places and just across the beach, sunrise is also just within across the road, overall we had a good time while we stay there

Really close to town centre and beach, beautiful view all the time. Didn’t expect messy microwave, looked like some curry sauce spilled all over in there. And slow wifi, have to use my own data during the peak time (3pm - midnight, depends how many people stay)

no clock or radio, no drawers to put clothes away, basic utensils, bathroom basic with small area outside shower to towel dry. Shower small and water pressure very strong, too strong. Overall felt that we could have found better accommodation for the same cost

Nice motel at a good location in Paihia. Just a few minutes walk from restaurants,, shops and the pier. Room with sea view and big terraces (shared with the neighbour room) exactly as advertised in the pictures. No surprises.

Great Location”

Found Bayview to be well maintained, bed comfortable enough and well located. Just need to mention you prefers seaview or not. Preferred the upstairs rooms for privacy. And if occupancy is full, there will not be enough parking. No staff onsite for any emergencies, although there's a phone number to call. Overall, very satisfactory stay.

The Motel is in an excellent situation. Walking distance to shops and numerous restaurants. Parked the car when we arrived. Never moved until we left. Staff were very friendly and helpful arranging tours. Even negotiated discounts. Would try and arrange a room with a view next visit.

Location location”

Very friendly hosts. Room clean and tidy with great view (seaview requested). Had everything we needed for 2 day stay. View is magical with great balcony table and chair to enjoy the sunshine. Very handy to shops and restaurants. Bed was a little springy. Overall - can't beat the location

Waterview Amazing”

Stayed previously due to waterview and being close to town. Fairly basic accommodation but was all we all needed for the one nights accommodation.

Older, tired motel in a great lcoation”

Everything works well, the place is huge and the location is sensational. The operator was very helpful. However, this motel has seen better days - it would benefit from a quality refresh from tradesmen rather than an enthusiastic owner/operator.
