Great Value For Money”

Booked 2 family rooms for myself and 5 of my children, and we looved it!! The rooms were very warm and cozy the lounge also very cozy kitchen facilities were all in great condition! No air cons but we had heaters and fans which worked perfectly well. The location was wow!! -5 minutes Walking distance to the Paihia shopping center and beach very handy! With countdown a few minutes walk away too. The locals were very friendly and Staff were amazing! Paul at reception sets the scene for a great stay and greats you with a smile and was very welcoming and friendly too and catered to our every needs the room attendants were also lovely aswell!!! I highly recommend Bounty Motel if yr staying In Paihia for a holiday so much to see and do!!!!! You can get discounted on different activities if booked through Bounty.

It has everything you need for a short stay. Cooking facilities as well as dining ware are provided. WiFi is free but spoty sometimes. Overall good value for money and defo recommend.

Basic but so close to town”

This motel is basic but you get what you pay for & it was really cheap. It is really close to restaurants & the ferry to Russell. It could do with a bit of modernization, better heaters that don't drownout the TV & some outside work (clearing plants away from stairs & fixing dripping spoutings) maybe some Wet & Forget would help.

Nice and clean motel owned by an awesome kiwi man! Just 5mins walk from town centre, which made us easy to seek the beautiful town. We were also lucky that there was a kitchen in the room.

Fitted our needs: clean room, hot water, and comfy bed. Just needed a place to sleep after a whole day’s gallivanting and this was great! Caucasian man at reception was very cordial. Will definitely return at our next vacation.

We booked this motel for a night as our tour going to Paihia. I called the motel that i missed my stuff over there, went back and very shock with the face of the staffs that i believe one of them was the manager of the motel. They start accusing me with asking the way i am living, i already told them i really had a limited time to go back and continue my tour so please give back my stuff. Then they told me that i need to pay extra fees for cleaning. They hold the stuff until i agree to pay the extra cleaning fees which i decline. I was shock, for what? They start to blame and accusing me that i made a mess by showing the pictures, which is; 1. Didn’t clean the plate that we’ve used. 2. Make the towel wet & put wet towel on floor. I start argue with them, i was cleaner as well before and that is NORMAL FOR ROOM BEING USED. They start breach my privacy by ask where i was work and send many text to my partner! Your utensils was rust and the sheet was full of stain?!?! Hollycrap! 🤢🤮

We stayed for 12 nights and everything was great. The team of housekeeping staff were so friendly and efficient. The motel is in the perfect location so close to everything and it's a great base to explore northland and the area. I highly recommend staying here.
