Property is very upmarket and they are very strict wrt day visitors etc I was there alone but a lovely property for couples. They seem to allow one to barbecue etc but also offer various platters if ore arranged. Some of the rooms have shared patios so if this bothers you request one without this, it wasn’t an issue for me. Good mini bar prices too. And easy access with a remote and a key so you can come and go at all hours without feeling guilty.

The only downside to the stay was the sound insulation of the room, we herd noises from outside of the room quite a few time during sleeping time

Missing owners”

We arrived and were met by one of the staff , Patrica, who was very pleasant and showed us our room. It was beautiful and tastefully decorated but don’t look for finishing touches. The bed was very comfortable. There is no WiFi unless you are at reception. The shower caddy was rusted and our water and tea was not replaced the following day . This would not be a problem except there is a notice telling you not to drink the tap water. One curtain had come off the hooks and did not close properly. We had rose petals in our bath (so romantic) which were not removed the following morning after cleaning. The breakfasts were lovely and there is a wonderful variety of food to suit all tastes. Staff training is required to ensure that the 4 star rating is justified. There is a stunning view of the dam from the dining room.

On arrival nobody to let us in at check in time. However, 5 minutes later Connie arrived - very welcoming. We were checked in quickly and shown to the Penthouse - view was stunning, lovely room & balcony. Friendly welcoming happy staff. Breakfast was lovely and filling cold selection & warm cooked freshly. My only criticism was no internet available in the room. (We were flying following evening and were not sure if flight was going to take place due to averse weather conditions in UK so it was quite important to us) The property is not advertised with internet though. We also paid for a check out 1 hour later which made our final day better. Would highly recommend

We had a very good experience when we stayed here for a night. We were with our 1 year kid. I had requested to use their kitchen facilities so that we can cook something for our kid. They did allow us to cook for him. Receptionist was very supportive in everything. Will definitely suggest it to my friends.
