Very good hotel for those wishing to stay near the airport. City is at least an hour drive though. Room service was ok but slow. English speaking staff was by far and few, especially in the restaurant. We had to point to other customers’ food to convey our order. Offputing. A smile goes a long way. Some staff look so curt and distant. They should be more friendly to customers.

Due to injuries I have difficulty standing. Your room was just the right size for me to get around in in a wheelchair, shower (using the wall to brace myself), and sleep. I just wish there were some ADA grab bars in the shower, and that the wallpaper wasn't peeling in places.

Did the job for my overnight stay in Beijing ”
Had an overnight stay in Beijing and this hotel provided a good place to stay. I am comparing this hotel to my hotel experiences outside of Beijing/ China as this was my first stay there; Pros Decent location- not the closest hotel to airport but around 10-15 mins with free shuttle Good breakfast God reception/ restaurant staff Large room- not the newest but decent Cons Not a great concierge- the service level was not great; could have communicated better and provided more info TV had poor reception for international channnels Some of the support staff were not ‘service’ orientated Overall would recommend this hotel and stay again as was safe and clean.

Tired Hotel”
The Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel in Beijing suffers from China syndrome. Build something and then never maintain it and let it deteriorate. The hotel grounds are appalling - most weeds and bushes. The pond by the deck is gross - covered in green slime. The tennis court has been totally neglected and the remainder of the grounds are over-grown bushes and weeds. The room was worn out. The carpet needs replacing, wallpaper is peeling off the wall, the headboard is torn, black mold in the shower, etc. The staff was excellent and worked hard to take care of things. Breakfast in the morning was top-notch.

Totally a bad quality hotel - i don't understand why they use the Crown Plaza name ”
It is the worst hotel I had stayed so far. 1. I arrived hotel at 3:00am due to flight delay 2. The hotel gave me the door key with mal-funciton, and keep exchange the door key for 4 times without success. as a result, it took almost 45 minutes, I could finally got into the room and slept.... 1st door key---- i cannot access to the upper floor and the lift does't read that card 2nd door key --- i cannot access to my room they exchanged for the 3rd door key ----- i cannot access to my room 4rd card - after I shout to the Manager, they finally arranged the 4rd door card that i could access to my room finally, but it took me almost 45 minutes.... it is a foolish,,,,, I will recommend all customers don't stay in this hotel.... it is extremely horrible....

Great super helpful staff and good facilities. Hotel rooms a bit tired though for the price. Otherwise good comfortable stay. Oh, and the airport shuttle was good and super convenient with regular times etc.

1) very slow check ib 2) gave me keys to a uncleaned room, house keeping have not clean the room yet 3) made to wait for new room 4) not a word of apology 5) reassigned me to a very run down room....... terrible experience

Don’t stay here! ”
I never give bad reviews but I feel I need to warn people about this place. This is one of the grossest hotels I have stayed in. I am not sure why it has any good reviews. Its dirty and expensive. The food was also terrible, there are hotels in Beijing that are way better and you get more value for your dollar. They won’t be as close to the airport, but I would rather spend money and time on a cab ride to a better hotel than ever stay here again. The hotel smells bad and our room had what looks like black mold on the ceiling. The carpets are old and musty. The furniture is worn down and was really dusty. I was a housekeeper at a hotel before and I know if things are dusty in a room all they do in the hotel to clean is wipe down the bathroom and change the sheets, if that. It was the most expensive place we stayed in China and it was not worth it. Overall, we couldn’t wait to leave.
