Staff have remembered us each time we have stayed. One thing I will point out is that the staff at breakfast time are not always attentive and seem to forget their guests.

Location wise- it may not be strategic but shuttle service to Sandton is what this hotel boasts. However, the charm of this hotel is its vibe- you will really feel at home...Loved loved our relaxing stay after our long safari drive the day before..Thanks to the staff!

Nice secure hotel with minor issues”

great hotel felt safe although the cleaning ladies start making noise around 630am so maybe not the best place if you need to sleep. Also we had bed bugs but were given another room. Nw room the shower was broken,

Slight improvement on Wi-Fi signal strength within the facility. Breakfast was included and good. Maybe more consideration for late checkout. Overall experience very good.

We booked a rep and an overseas guest rooms for a night. They were very impressed with the service and facilities. They especially loved the wooden bar and ambience. Highly recommended.

Home from home”

I've stayed at the Quatermain now for about 4 stays while in the Sandton area. Although not everything has always gone well the attempts at service recovery have been commendable and the feel of the property is genuinely a home away from home one with a welcome relaxed ambience. The guest rooms are fairly comfortable and having almost always stayed in the Executive Room and also tried out the Deluxe Room, I will without doubt always recommend the Executive ahead of the Deluxe. Special thanks to the Quatermain staff for their warm reception and care during my stays.

Safe and Sound”

As a large family group we enjoyed the clean rooms and the restaurant facilities, where the staff were friendly. However the bar servers did not seem to enjoy their job as they seldom smiled! It was a very safe environment and as first time visitors to the area we would recommend it to anyone.

Return visit to quiet and comfortable hotel . ”

Good size rooms , great beds and quiet space to relax . Separate shower and tub , well lit bathroom .Pool and lovely garden area, plus nice lounge with bar . Restaurant ok average standard but not inspiring . Breakfast is plentiful in hot and cold choices but cold meats cheeses and fish need to be covered in order to avoid flies during summer heat . Staff always friendly and helpful . Will return when back in SA as I enjoy the peaceful time out this hotel offers .
