Decent Accommodations for a Week”

The accommodation was decent at best at FLEXSTAY INN Sugamo. It is a bit of walk from the nearest train station, but it is fine as it passes several amenities like a convenience store, supermarket, & eateries. The place operates much like a weekly mansion with no daily housekeeping. You can borrow a vacuum cleaner if you wish to tidy your room a bit. Towels are provided fresh daily. Staff on site are polite & helpful in assisting any issues that I had The only downside is that the rooms are dated & urgently requires some revamping. The hotel lobby is also located in the basement, so you have to carry your luggage down a flight of stairs to get to the hotel lobby. Would recommend for non-fussy travellers looking for somewhere cheap to stay. For that price, it is rather reasonable.

Good for short stay”

I stayed here for slightly more than 3 weeks, and really liked the convenient location as it was near to Sugamo Station with Yamanote line and Toei Mita line. Staff were always very polite and helpful. I was generally OK with the fact that they had no housekeeping, but found it a little vexing because there were nothing in the room to help me clean my own room. There was also a portable stove and a pot, but no other utensils, so I ended up being unable to cook.

Air conditioning hardly worked, Check out time 10am Internet connection was quite slow The bed was very hard and uncomfortable The location is alright, about 8 minute walk to sugamo station, You can find better deals in the area, would not recommend.

very good location with friendly staffs ”

Very good location, quite but close to train station, 5mins train to ikebukuro. Nice n clean, staffs are friendly. There's staff attending even I had a late check-in without advanced notification.

I'm satisfied for my stay in this hotel, not really close to the station though. And hope they can extend the front desk service hour (now 9am to 6pm).

Basic but comfortable”

This place is a cross between apartments and a hotel. As such, there isn't much in the way of service, but if you don't need lots of amenities, this in a nice place to stay. While it's not in a neighborhood most tourists are interested in, it's near a train station on the main line and you can easily get to anyplace you might want to go.

people of above-average height might feel quite cramped in the single room; a twin room, even for one person, might be worth the extra cost. location within a typical urban tokyo neighborhood, good variety of places to eat, location near a famous temple with the jizo rub-for-good-luck buddhist statue, and easy access to trains make it overall a good lodging choice.

The hotel staff was helpful. with laundry, pay phone, internet, microwave and other necessary utilities. clean bed and nice lcd tv. but all the other the furnitures are quite old.

Pleasant stay in Tokyo”

We wanted somewhere to stay that was quiet but close to transport. This we got with our stay here. We were glad we ordered the semi double as it offered us the bed space we required. To be able to cook in the room was a bonus we did not expect so were pleasantly surprised.

Great hotel..ehm...weekly mansion”

This was my first stop during my Japan holiday and I had a relaxing stay. It's not in central Tokyo but really feels like you're in Tokyo.

Weekly Mansion Sugamo (Tokyo)”

The hotel is very small (not a bad thing) and it is situated in a residential area that is mainly elderly folks; thus, the shops/restaurants are a few blocks walk to the main street, which is also where the train station is located. The staff was great once I was able to contact them, as the doors lock at 6:00 p.m.; I was able to find someone coming out of the building that was able to interpret the instructions on how to contact someone to let me in. After that, the front desk person was quickly there and was very helpful. The rooms are very small, which is normal for a Japanese business hotel and the hotel is really a place where folks stay as their primary residence. That is not a negative, but it should be pointed out.

Excelente, el staff es muy amable, y además queda muy cerca de una estación de JR que es muy conveniente cuando llevas JR Pass.

Medio escondido entre las calles de Sugamo pero a 5 minutos a pie de la estación más cercana, el hotel cuenta con instalaciones muy cómodas para descansar y además el barrio es tranquilo. Tiene todo lo necesario para los viajeros que se la pasan explorando la ciudad todo el día y en la noche quieren un descanso reparador.

原本看全部的房間都是吸煙房害怕有煙味但意外的房間沒有任何異味，窗戶打開還可以聽見後面高爾夫練習場練球清脆的的聲音，雖然丟舊毛巾跟倒垃圾要自己來，訂的是普通兩床房但房間比想像大得多，兩個29吋的箱子攤開沒有問題，房間另有附摺疊桌跟折疊椅，有需要可以打開來用，唯一美中不足的是插頭比較少一點，下次來這裡還會再住

這間較省錢，因為家庭房4人的價位都較高， 一週的住宿費預算開銷大， 所以想省錢的家庭可以選擇這裡! 巢鴨與其他知名地點相較之下較不熱鬧，但是美食藥妝採買也是有的喔~!

房間內有點舊，位置不近車站。青年旅館還新過這間酒店，但勝在有自己房間，不用受其他自私旅客的燥音影響。整體有說只是剛合格。
