Very efficient staff at the concierge: Rakesh, York, Tim & Choudhary. These people made it easier for my daughter and I to find the places we wanted to visit. They all speak both mandarin and English. I'd recommend this hotel to those who want to live near the big universities in Beijing.

If you know about WDK then this is your hotel.. a nice clean hotel.. we stay at this hotel for 2-3 days and no complains what so ever.. everything was okay and my wife said the breakfast is quite okay as well..

Very clean and fancy hotel (looks more like an Intercontintal or Crown Plaza than a Holiday Inn Staff is very customer service oriented.

Near tsinghua university”
I feel very honored to check-in, excellent geographical location, close to the tsinghua university, Chinese holiday during the tomb-sweeping day is from Simon to enter, but the other can be out of the door, do not check on Agoda reservation on the day to go to the front desk is of the order, thanks to print out orders, breakfast was great, high cost performance, which is more inclined to business type hotel.

Just need to fix a few things like - half the power sockets in the room did not have power -just stuck on the wall with no power connected - please fix - air conditioning kept resetting to 25 but you can’t sleep with a duvet when it’s 25 degrees - I kept having to get up and reset to 18 degrees - please fix

Before my stay, I contacted the hotel to ensure that I can keep my breastmilk in their freezer. They confirmed it that it is possible to keep it in their restaurant's freezer. On my arrival date, I had to argue and showed the email sent by their Duty Manager in order to get the assistance. Seemed like communication between staffs were not properly maintained.

If you know the local area, this hotel is not far at all from a busy area with lots and shops, restaurants and bars - though it is about 15 mins walking. The hotel's also very close to a subway, if you want to get to central Beijing.

Great for me as I wanted to stay near Tsinghua University. Couple of things went wrong, like they missed the breakfast order card left on my door one night, but they dealt with the problem immediately and my breakfast arrived within about 20 mins of my phoning to complain, which was pretty good. I didn't use the gym etc so can't comment on facilities.

Veery good. The rooms are very comfortable. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. Food is very good. The onbly negative is that it is a bit of a walk to the shops, restaurants, and metro in Wudaokao.

This is a really great place to stay. My only complaint is that at night the default setting for the a/c shuts it off in the middle of the night. There are no straight forward controls as to how you over ride these controls, so that you can keep it cool the whole time you are sleeping, so you wake up in the middle of the night. In all other respects, it is a really great place to stay. Nice fitness facility!

Chain hotel with standard service”
The hotel is IHG chain hotel with standard service and facilities, Spacious room, comfort bed, nice shower, swimming pool. It's about 5 mins to a metro station which is newly open metro line. It's a bit far from city centre but quiet environment. One disappointment is it's still some dirt on coffee glass even after clean up. It shows that the hotel just wash the glass in room but not replace it.
