The hotel’s location is great(near East Gate No.5 in Lumbini), the room is so clean and comfortable, the staff is so friendly and nice, the service is good !! Recommend this hotel for travelers to stay!!

Quaint n pretty...”
As mentioned above it's a quaint n pretty property very close to the main gate which leads to Mayadevi temple. Yet inspite of this proximity it enjoys a very distinct quiet... Maintained very cleanly....rooms were nice n warm. The manager was very warm n friendly n offered wonderful information n genuine advice. I would love to stay here again n also intend to have my wife n daughter as well stay here when they plan to visit Lumbini.

Great place to rest near the temples”
I loved the hotel. I would highly recommend booking Ananda Inn. The location was steps from the entrance to the temple grounds, sacred pond, etc. and also just a few steps away from all the conveniences like shops, restaurants, banks, and the bus stop.

Bad smell in the room”
All the rooms are smoking. The smell in the room was terrible. We use incense, so we could manage with that smell in one day. Without it the stay would be very uncomfortable for me. Even though I was mentioning a non-smoking room on agoda, I had no info from the hotel that there are no non-smoking rooms.

Polite and courteous staff. Restaurant fare was tasty with nice presentation and decent-to-good pricing for tourist area. Staff opened restaurant early on our last night so we could eat before catching the bus. Excellent service all-around. Cleanliness: Many mosquitos in room upon check-in with more coming inside at a steady rate. Killed at least 20 of them and bitten multiple times during our 3-night stay. No mosquito netting. Otherwise, the place was clean. Facilities: Loud banging during the day 8 meters from our window (the time we sleep since we work during the night). Understandable and forgivable, but annoying just the same. Otherwise the facilities were very nice. Overall satisfied due to the great staff, restaurant, decent WiFi and general charm of the place. I would recommend despite the problems we experienced.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was very accommodating and very professional. Prices at the restaurant are decent-to-good for a touristy area with nice food presentation and taste. The staff opened the restaurant for us early on our last day as we had an early bus to Pokhara. You can expect excellent customer service. Cleanliness: Room had many mosquitos upon check-in. No opened windows but a fairly steady influx of them coming from somewhere. Bitten multiple times and killed at least 20 of them during our stay. No mosquito netting in-room. Air conditioning and fan work great! Big desks for working! WiFi at acceptable speeds. Electric lighting a little dim but acceptable. Facilities: Light construction going on at the time of our stay with loud banging during the day (the time we sleep since we work at night). Annoying, but forgivable and understandable. Otherwise, quite nice.

We only stayed one night. The location is central and the room was clean. We wanted to have dinner. They said they are short of staff. Maybe due to low season? So we had to go out to eat. My husband had breakfast He said it was basic. Overall okay.

Lovely hotel with rude staff. Great location. Had to pay extra money for double bed instead of twin beds booked. Quite unusual in general.

Unfriendly service”
The receptionist was not friendly at all, the restaurant is open only a till 8.30 pm, last order 8 pm. The restaurant mgr called at 7.20 pm and again at 7.50 pm asking rudely "are you now coming for dinner?" When told off because of his very bad behavior he just was laughting. Do not stay in these lousy hotel and do not eat here, there are plenty of other hotels and restaurnt
