L’hôtel est excellent pour son prix. Les chambres sont très petites, mais c’est souvent le cas au Japon. Le bâtiment est neuf, les équipements sont de très bonne qualité. Les agencements de la chambre et le décor intérieur de l’hôtel sont intelligemment faits pour rehausser l’impression de qualité. Seuls bémols : l’ambiance morne du quartier, et l’emplacement un peu éloigné des gares encadrantes (un peu dur avec une lourde valise par 36°), mais comme c’est Gares sont desservi par Yamanote, on peut aller partout dans Tokyo. Bref, c’est un bon compromis économique pour un séjour de visite court, surtout si on est en solo.

Brand new hotel in Ueno, very close to Ueno station and Uguisudani station. I had booked the hotel after reading some negative reviews in regards to the size of the rooms. Arriving at the room, I quickly realized it is most definitely not 14m² as described. It's really equivalent to the APA 11m² rooms. There also was no proper window, even though I had booked one with city view. I promptly told the staff who quickly upgraded my room to the best they offer, which is quite the upgrade from the standard room I had booked. Unexpected, but most appreciated. Overall my experience was great, but do expect a very small room, and be prepared for a possible lack of window.

Incredible value for travellers that just need a well appointed spacious room”
We generally just need a room and are not interested in a hotels other facilities. This hotel was excellent for us - the room (twin) was spacious, clean and well appointed. The only thing was the see-through glass bathroom (with an automatic curtain that provided some privacy) - an odd set up. Location meant we had to walk a bit to the station - 5mins to 12 mins depending in which one - but once we factored that in to out schedule it was fine. This hotel is incredible value.

Great low cost option close to Ueno and Uguisudani station. Brand new hotel. Very clean. Be prepared for a very small room. I am unconvinced that this is truly 14m². It really feels like the size of the APA hotel rooms which are 11m². The facilities themselves are lacking. There is nothing besides the lobby and a restaurant on the last floor. The restaurant looks great, but is only open from 7 to 9am, which is not just odd but also disappointing.

Deluxe twin room spacious and in a quiet neigbourhood but it is about a good 45 min walk from Ueno”
Well, I got this place because we wanted a twin room , my sis and I. We also needed a spacious room to pack our souvenirs into our luggage. It was really nice the room and I really liked the hotel. However, it was a good 45 min walk and trust me, I can walk. The issue came when we had to push our luggage out to Ueno station. If you have a family of young children and you have a lot of luggage, this might not be the place for you. I wouldn't mind staying there again if I get the same room BUT I will send my luggage out to Narita first.

Clean and staffs are friendly”
It's clean and quiet. 15mins walk to Ueno station and Ameyayokocho. Is best to arrange your last 2 days there. You can bring back a lot of their local pharmacy products, hair and face care, local snacks and muchi at cheaper price there and its tax free.

This hotel isn't worth it for the price”
There is no water in a room and have only one elevator which sometimes you have to wait so long. Location is quite far from Ueno Station and no restaurant or Family mart around there. But there is a convenient store down stairs which is quite expensive.

There are several issues in my room: The AC was dusty and there's no hanger. But I only stayed for 3 nights afterall so I didn't mind. Aside of that, all the amenities ie: TV, chiller, kettle, hair dryer and hot water were working fine. The location is also good, 5-10 minutes walking from Ueno station, 10-15 minutes to Ueno Park, 20 minutes to Senso-ji Temple, awesome! Thank you for accommodating me during my stay in Tokyo.

Great Value Accommodation”
This is a great value stay in Tokyo! Staff is very welcoming and accomodating. The room was a little dirty when we got there, some dust on counter surfaces, an old shopping bag under the bed, and what looked like a handprint on a wall. It was okay otherwise. The room was comfortable, especially the bed, pillows, and air conditioning. Deep bathtub too. Location is great. Nice and close to several convenience and grocery stores. 5 minute walk from the Hibiya Metro Line and 10 minute walk from the Ueno JR station. Very close to Ueno park also with several museums and nice walking paths. The area was also quiet with not too much street noise. If arriving at Narita Airport, I recommend taking the Keisei Skyliner to Ueno station and taking a taxi from the station to the hotel. It's also walkable if you're ok with a 15 minute walk carrying luggage. The biggest con is the room size, they're not particularly big but we were able to fit with our suitcases once we organized the room a bit more. It's all you need to rest, shower, and get ready. Compared to other hotels around Tokyo, it's still a decent size. All things considered, this seems to be one of the best value stays in Tokyo.

Would not recommend to people with sinus problems as the room is quite dusty. Five minutes walk to Iriya Station which is nearer as compared to Ueno Station

Never Again!”
Whole experience here was a nightmare. The hotel is located closely to the highway with only single- paned window. They arranged the room for me on the first floor which was the closet one to the highway. I couldn't sleep when speeding cars and heavy trucks passing by. I requested to change the room but the front desk staff was rude and impantiant... Seems they experienced different types of complaints and had their own "ways" to handle different situtations. In addition, the room was awfully dirty. I got skin and nose allergy after staying at this hotel. The cleaner did not clean the room very well. There was a layer of dust on the desk and TV. I suspect they even didnt clean the air- conditioner properly. It kept on blowing the dust out... There was a small fridge avaialble in the room but it was not working... I didnt have such experience for my stay of hotels in Japan before. And this experience reminds me to go through as many comments as I can before booking any hotel. I changed to another hotel after staying here for 2 nights. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Least favourite of our hotels on holiday but ok”
The staff were lovely and pleasant, helped with a little understanding of English. The place is clean as you would expect in Japan. 10-15min walk to the main Ueno station, short walk to the local metro line. If your travelling Shinkansen or JR lines it's a decent walk. Room was a lot smaller than the pictures on the site when we booked, bed was ok, pillows were horrible and we couldn't get extras or replacements. The hotel was quiet noisy, we were outside the elevator so had regular noise, and could hear noise from outside a bit too. No drinking water provided, get some before you go. Fridge is a drawer so quiet small. Cheap place to stay but we had better in the area at a similar price.
