A hotel where you get your money's worth”
The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood despite being less than a 10-minute walk from both Wangfujing and the Forbidden City! There are local restaurants and a convenience store just across the street, and a bank and a local park around the corner. The staff at the reception were friendly and speak excellent English and provide great recommendations and could help you in arranging any travel necessity. The rooms are modern, well-maintained, and clean. The room humidifier was a great touch as it provided relief from the dry winter air in Beijing. Moreover, the beverages in the room fridge were free and were generously replenished daily.

We found this hotel to be great for our first trip to Beijing. Near to major sites, we were able to walk and avoid extra costs. Also close to subway, which for us is what we used to get to those areas a bit further. We felt safe. The room was clean, breakfast was great and the staff excellent and easily able to communicate in English for assistance. Definitely would stay again!

Hotel location was near Wangfujing. Many great eateries are nearby too. Rooms were very comfortable and stylish. Drinks in the fridge were free for consumption which also include beer. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a very quiet room. The bed was super confortable and there were some pillows with grains in them. They made me sleep very, very good (it seems they calm down) The staff is super gentel and helped whenever we asked for.

The location is very good. It is within walking distance to Forbidden City and Tian An gate. Wangfujin walking street is just a few blocks away. There are plenty of restaurants opposite the hotel. Hotel is clean, staffs are friendly too.

5-10 mins walk you can reach the east gate of the forbidden city. There are lot of restaurants nearby, so you can skip the simple breakfast at the hotel

We had a good time here, staff were helpful, some spoke English , some didn’t. But all tried to help. Very close(walking distance) to a lot of the big attractions. Maybe 8 minute walk to subway(we used a lot). Plenty of places to eat and shop. 5 minute walk to wangfugin street. Plenty of taxis around. Room was good, beds were good. We actually found the breakfast great, contrary to some other reviews. It was a very good stay.

A pretty good option for budget stay”
Stayed 2 nights in late December 2019 for about Aud220 in basic room. Not a bad room though not very great soundproofing, we heard some shouting from another room.. also a bit freezing in the area close to window because heating air con didnt work too well over there, unlike the central heating, bathroom looks bit dated too.. but in general its a pretty ok room to stay for a night or two as its walkable to forbidden city and wangfujing, given such room rate, i would give it 6-7 out of 10.
