Un Palace ne se juge pas par sa chambre "design", par sa télé intégrée ou les lumières et volets roulants connectés... Un Palace se juge par son talent de "Grand Hotel"...ce n'est pas le cas du Métropole. Très déçu par une multitude de chose : de la réservation, du changement de chambre en prétextant "sur-classer" le client (une bonne blague qui de temps en temps doit marcher !), au petit déjeuner oui arrive en chambre 40 minutes après sa demande, café froid et ce matin un cheveux emprisonné dans le petit pain...! Ne parlons pas du frigo bar avec seulement deux bouteilles d'eau. La Direction tient tellement à l'hygiène qu'elle nous a fait SIGNER une espèces de quittance stipulant de ne pas fumer sur le balcon sous peine de poursuites et de dédommagement...du jamais vu et pourtant je voyage beaucoup dans les grands hôtels. Non, l'Hotel Métropole n'est pas (ou plus) un palace, c'est juste un hotel Mercure re-décoré où il faut payer très cher sa place en centre-ville (490,00 euros la nuit

L'emplacement est idéal, face au Jardin Anglais et au lac. La literie est très confortable et le personnel sympathique. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

PERFECT LOCATION”

this hotel is in the perfect location, room large , very comfortable and lovely view of the river.(upgrade to a front room with little balcony) loved the vibey bar downstairs, stunning atmosphere. only complaint is the onsite parking garage. Be warned, if you have a large car, it is incredibly tight and difficult.

Great room with an amazing view”

We stayed in a Premium Room and it had an amazing view of the geneva river. The room is big and had a really good standing shower system. Didn't managed to get to the roof to look at the view due to some private event.

Pro: Facilities and services of concierge, check in, roof top bar, lobby bar all very good. Quon: room was supposed to be city view but only of a building. Breakfast service was confused and very slow.

Tired...and poor service”

Stained carpets, furniture chipped and poor quality, uncomfortable bed. Terribly LOUD all night. They DO ALLOW SMOKERS!!!! After reporting a smoker on my floor, reception explained it was a “special” guest whom the GM knew so they couldn’t ask him to stop smoking. I had to ask if they were kidding!!! They weren’t!

We loved this hotel in an old historic building directly across the park and Lake Geneva. Great views, friendly staff, very cool rooftop bar. Would definitely stay there again.

In reality a 4 Star Hotel”

Room was ready for a re decoration and was small. This hotel is around £100 per night cheaper than the other 5 Star hotels close to it for very good reason, it should be re-classified 4 Star

Wonderful stay at this hotel”

Check-in was fast, staff were helpful with good communication, the room was clean and modern design with high-tech control. Our room has the spectacular view of Lake Geneva, was very delighted to stay in this hotel. We had dinner at Le Grand Quai restaurant, staff were friendly and explained the details of every dishes in order for us to order the food we wanted. Location of the hotel was excellent, centrally located which we could have a walk to the front (alongside Lake Geneva) and at the back (the shopping area, all the luxury brands).

Quality hotel!”

Stayed 3 nights here eventually, 2 nights on the executive room, and 1 night on the signature room with the lake view.. Staffs are very friendly and attentive, and well spoken, especially the receptionist, Clara.. Very friendly indeed and offered us an parade on my e xtended stay in the hotel Will be looking forward to coming back when I visited geneva :)

Great location and service ”

the hotel is ideally located right on the lake and is perfect for a business traveller. Most of the banks are within walking distance to the hotel and even all the shopping for the wife can be done within a short walk from the hotel. The concierge is extremely helpful and will look after your every need.

Great location, small room, but superbly furbished”

Stayed in this hotel for a one nighter. Excellently located at Geneva City Center, surrounded by very posh boutiques and branded outlets, from Nespresso, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, etc. All within walking distance. The rooms are petit but is superbly furbished and very functional. The staff is also really helpful and friendly.
