Bon rapport qualite prix”
bon rapport qualité / prix parking (50 rands) bien pratique
Hôtel central et chères très spacieuses”
During the two weeks I stayed in Cape Town, I chose to stay in the hotel because rooms are clean. Wi-Fi was alright, better connection in some of the rooms. Staff is definitely the best asset of this hotel, nice and really helpful. My only advice is to ask the day staff to help you arrange anything but not the night staff.
Breakfast is served by a cafe next door. Good food with coffee and tea. There's a laundry place next to the cafe if you wanna have laundry done cheaper. There's also a bank just 20 meters away with better exchange rate. Keep in mind that banks and laundry place are closed on Sunday and holiday.
Helpful and thoughtful staff”
I arrived Cape Town alone because my husband was in the middle of Cape Epic. My husband was worried about my safety and asked the hotel staff to arrange transportation for me. I was so impressed that they specifically arranged a lady driver to pick me up at the airport. Thank you!
It was a most pleasant stay at St Georges. I would definitely recommend it to others, and will go back there if I was ever going back to Cape Town. The hotel staff were most friendly and very helpful with the day tour bookings. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hotel itself is a little old fashioned, but all things are clean and functional. The location of the hotel is in central Cape Town, so very convenient to the local markets, V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. Overall it was a great delight to have stayed at this hotel.
Very friendly staff, very good location, substantial breakfast included in the room price. Wi-fi in the room was a little slow but it was free which is not very common in CT hotels. From the lobby I was even able to make a skype call using wi-fi. I'd defenitely recommend this hotel to friends. It was my friends b'day and we got a room on top floor plus the staff arranged for some bag of chocolates waiting in the room for him which was very sweet!
Good service and location”
good location .. it's not far from downtown. you can walk from hotel to green market or water front around 10 - 20 min and railway station in 5 mins. the breakfast was good. even the room is small but it's not too bad. the staff are so nice and helpful. you can ask some information with them. anyways, the house keeper forgot to clean up my room 2 times. they should improve ...
Value for money.”
The rooms are a bit old but still ok. Room is a bit small, but good enough for us Asians. The area is quite quiet during the weekend but it is within walking distance to the weekend market, hop on hop off bus. Good value for money.
A GOOD ALL round choice in the CBD”
We found the staff serious, professional and vey helpful. We felt secure and the hotel was well known to taxi drivers. Service was quick and polite. The location was excellent- we had several good shopping malls and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. On the minus side, the towels were threadbare, the bedlinen very tired and old -especially the scruffy blanket- and the lack of guest restrooms in the foyer was something we had never come across before. Also the absence of a fridge/minbar was awkward as we could not cool our water or other drinks or store our fruit supplies. It is a pity in some ways that breakfast is not on site-not to knock the Kitchen Deli crew who were awesome in every respect - quality food, fast replenishments, super polite and really friendly, but it does feel strange going to another place for breakfast. On the whole we enjoyed the Hotel on St Georges but feel they should try a little harder to compete with the local guesthouses in order to capture more of the tourist, as well as the business, trade.
Normal 3 Stars Hotel at City Center”
This hotel is a basic, normal 3 stars hotel, nothing to shout about. The exterior seems new but interior is slightly aged. Anyway, still, this place is clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Very good location too as most of the places of interests within the city center are within walking distance.
Awesome Inner City Location”
Getting to St Georges is a little tricky up and down one way streets but once there it's a gem! The hotel is located right in the city with the hustle and bustle of Cape Town live all around, the staff were helpful and the breakfast (served at a near by deli) was good! The hotel itself is quite old, but this would add to the charm (for a nt so picky traveller)
All inclusive and great location”
The staff was professional and friendly, the breakfast is great, the rooms were clean and cleaned daily, the free wifi is fast enough and easily accessible, there are no hidden costs and the tv channel selection is adequate (although no news channel). Great value for money. One of the best travel deals I have ever found. Highly recommened for someone looking for 3 star all-inclusive stays: clean bed, free wi-fi, central location, warm shower and tv.
Easy place to stay”
We only stayed one nigh as we had to be on the train the next morning but the place was peaceful and an ideal spot for the station the shops were close buy and the taxi trip to the restaurant was quick all in all an ideal place to stay for a quick visit to cape town shopping center
Value for money hotel with very good staff”
Hotel on St Georges is a very standard 3 star hotel. Though the rooms need a bit of a revamp and the lifts are very slow, it provides very comfortable accommodation in well sized rooms. We experienced great customer service throughout our stay. There is no room service/ restaurant, but breakfast vouchers are available for the shopping mall just next door and the breakfat is varied (hot/ cold options) and decent. I would recommend this as a value for money hotel in a good location - near enough to lively Long Street, 15 min walk from V&A waterfront (or 10 mins on bus), but itself in a quiet street.
Comfortable and affordable with friendly staff”
Great reception from friendly, well informed staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean even though decor is a little dated. Great breakfast offering by The Kitchen Deli an offsite restaurant who partner with the hotel to give guests a great start to the day
pleasant enjoyable stay”
Pleasant stay. Hotel equipped with basic facilities but well function which is important. Strategically located and easy access, save time of traveling to attractive places. Convenient with shops around the hotel.
we LOVED the Hotel on St. Georges! It was super close to bars on long street and also walking distance to the waterfront. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The internet was good and it was overall a wonderful experience!
It was an amazing expirence”
Our stay at Hotel on St Georges was a truely lovely expierence, waking up to see that beautiful mountain every morning was breathtaking, the staff were ever willing to help, I had a few requests upon arrival as it was my boyfriends birthday, the staff followed through with absolute perfection.
