Très bien.Rien à redire.
Un excellent hotel. ”
Un vrai plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel. a 10min à pied du UD town.
We travel to Udon regularly and have stayed here multiple times. Never disappoints.
Our favourite hotel! ”
Pros - spacious modern rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, free coffee in the mornings, great AC and TV channel selection (had 6-9 good English channels too, if one needs them), located a bit out of town so quiet and have a few animals on the property, free bike rentals available at the hotel, seems to be in safe area, free parking in big parking area, bar open in evenings on hotel property (6:30-11:30pm) Cons - located about 10-15 mins walk to the train station, so unless you have a mode of transportation or enjoy walking ( like we do), it could be a negative. (However one could have taken a tuk tuk into town if needed.)
Love it ”
If you don't mind staying out of the city a bit it's probably the best value for money in Udon . Nice big rooms in a relaxing surrounding . Huge bathroom , good aircon , good bed . Only downpoint is that you need transport to get to town . Will sure stay again she in Udon .
Great city hotel”
The Intara Resort is a new hotel about 1K from the UD Center. The hotel is directly behind the center and has enough land to make you think you are in the country. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We flew in to Udorn and got a limo from the airport to the hotel for 100 baht. The hotel called a skylab (tuk tuk) for us to go into town for 60 baht. There is an Italian restaurant (3 story), not far from the UD center, and it has the best food at a good price. The UD center is the center of attention each night when vendors gather to sell their wares. There are also many food stalls - all have great food at a good price - all are neat and clean! The hotel does not take credit cards, but it is an excellent hotel and you will not regret your stay!
clean, good price, but location not great”
From the outside is a very well designed hotel. But inside you'd find some strange decisions on the build, such as a ridiculously big bathroom where they could have given more room to the room itself. Strange location of shelves and no wall space to properly fit the airconditioner. Despite the quirkiness, still a great price for what you get. It is close the the shopping areas, but just slightly too far to walk located very close to center but hidden in almost a small village road
Very Comfortable stay with a value of money!”
We did stay in a deluxe room with reasonable price. Impressed with a space of the room, setting, free wifi, cleanliness. Breakfast is ok and can do a bit of improvement . The Security guard was very welcome and helpful. Only negative comment is bathroom is too small but the rest is super good so we will return again next month.
This resort is very new with unique design. The front wall of quest's rooms were made of glass, so you need curtain to keep your privacy !! The room is clean and simply modern with nice duvet and clean mattress which covered with synthetic leather. Bathroom is oversized, you can excercise there! The negative sides are mosquitos, you should prepare repellant. The location seems far but this resorts is well connected to many interesting places by driving. Overall experience is nicely reasonable for its price.
Plastic bed mattress is the only problem ”
I really like INTARA, I always find a good value at this resort. However, plastic mattress cover is a horrible idea because there is no soft cover over the plastic and it feels like sleeping on a plastic surface. I had to grab a clean bed sheet and folded to sleep on. They must put mattress covers (not plastic folks!) under the bed sheets. If next room is quite INTARA is the best place to spend a night. If next room is noisy walls are very thin in the block D, I usually knock on the wall.
Piece of Heaven”
You do need a motorbike to stay here, but l already knew that. This place is amazing. It's on a very large piece of land. There are actually 2 horses on the land that belong to the resort. They have their own restaurant and small outside bar. There are a few local shops around the area. It's so quiet and relaxing. l loved it there.
Thin walls, kept hearing next room ”
INTARA is about half an hour walk or 1.5 km from the Central Plaza and bus station. I like this place because rooms are large, clean and facilities are newer. Resort is large and has ample Thai guests. Only down side is sometimes next room could be very noisy and walks are pretty thin. I had to knock next room doors at 3 of my stay. Their breakfast is bread, butter and jam with coffee
Spacious, nice room and good value”
Positives: nice, spacious room, especially bathroom. Low cost. Parking. Negatives: sink area could use another light and a bit more something (like a tray for soap), mosquitoes, breakfast is toast and tea/coffee. Overall, nice for the price, but without a car you may want to choose a different place.
Great value for money”
The hotel is a bit far from city center and you need to have car to be able to explore the city easily. The hotel is clean with setup like resort style. The hotel is expanding its facilities and rooms.
Far from anywhere, dogs around ”
I reviewed this resort before. Pros: large, clean rooms Cons: need Tuk Tuk or taxi, far from bus and train stations, lots of barking dogs on dark streets at night so you can't walk, no English speaking staff. I think room rates are too high for all the negatives it has
Lovely resort but a bit long walk if you like to save money ”
I truly loved this place, very unique, free bicycle and simple breakfast in the morning, great deal in my opinion. Room was lovely, but there could be some improvements and updates in the bathroom and toilet area to make things even better. My only warning is for those who like to save cash and prefer to walk. It is about 2 km from the bus station in a remote secluded neighborhood, lots of dogs in dark streets at night. They chased my bike at three occasions in one night on my way to hotel from the night market. Other than that this place is just awesome.
Perfect for a young family”
Great location, sheep, rabbits, crocodiles, iguanas and a few swings to entertain young ones. A pond which the staff let us catch fish in as we shared an evening of drinks with them. Top facilities and big rooms. Where we always stay in Udon.
Excellent value for money.”
Very good owner and cleaning staff, but some receptionists needs a little improvement. Unique hotel, has a horse, sheep and rabbits wandering around the grounds. Excellent bed, very comfortable. Breakfast is minimal but it is free. Free bicycles to use at your convenience. I loved my stay, and will definitely stay again.
1 night in Intara”
it is a bit deep from the main road, but hotel is quite Ok, room is large and has parking lot for allroom, so if you have car, i suggest it is ok to stay here. And it is on the same way of one famous temple and near avenue market.
little gem outside the centre ”
i had an excellent 3day stay here,i just picked off the net it had decent reviews and wasnt disapointed, but please be aware this is about 2-3km from the centre behind railway station, however the owner kindly let me use his mountain bike which was great as i love cycling and with short cuts u can get to the centre in about 15minutes or less on a bike, havent checked out other modes of transport but at the airport they wanted 200baht to take me here and said its so far away,i pursueded them to drop me at railway for about 70 baht then i got tuktuk 60baht,i will be returning to this place as it has all i look for in a resort, nice rooms friendly staff and quiet location just out of main hustle and bustle, staff dont speak english but owners wife does and one of the staff in laundry does also.
