Beautiful hotel with beautiful background”
The hotel - buildings and interior - is beautiful, set with a picturesque background of the Jade Dragon Snow mountain. It is located just about 10-15 minutes taxi ride from Lijiang Old Town. The room is new and clean, complete with all required necessities. The staff meet basic requirements but I feel that service is the bare minimum of a 4.5 stars hotel - with nothing exceptional or beyond expectation (compared to 3-4 stars hotels we stayed in during this trip which all had service-minded staff which went out of their way to help us and thus making the experience beyond expectation). The hotel has a resident llama and many swans and peacocks too. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is highly NOT recommended as food was very bland and service was very slow.

Perfect base from which to explore Lijiang”
The hotel is stunning with world-class facilities! The best thing for us was the proximity to both Shuhe Ancient City (an absolute must in addition to the Old City) and the Old City. Being able to trek and explore during the day - exploring mountains and lakes or nooks and crannies in the old cities, then being able to return to luxury and comfort was the way to go for us! Highly recommended! Also, some very competent English speakers at the reception.

Poor Front Desk and Check-in Experience”
The front desk and Check-in experience is unbecoming of a 5-Star resort as well as to carry the Hyatt brand. We were made to wait for an hour before getting only one of our rooms. Each time we asked when our room will be available, the front desk can only say that they will try their best but will not promise us. This is not right at all for them to make us wait beyond the check-in time. Our second room was only made available at 4:30pm - 2 hours after our arrival. As the front desk staff, he should be more savvy to at least make the wait less tiring. No refreshment or hospitality was given during the wait. It is disappointing that we need to even asked for the manager to appear to get an explanation on the situation. While the development has great hardware and view, the front desk staff must be properly trained to be savvy and check-in experience must definitely be improved.

Oversight of Tax and service charge”
I was offered an upgrade with an additional small sum which will include breakfast in a junior suite.. I made the full payment and only realized when I checked out that they have forgotten to include the tax and service charge.. Of cause I paid but wasn’t happy that they were too keen to sell the suite and neglected to inform the actual cost.. They did apologize that it was their oversight.. just my experience and advice if you happen to stay or book the hotel.. other than this, staffs were friendly and helpful..

Too many service issues for a 5 star hotel”
Our room was extremely hot, I'm talking 27-30 degrees and AC couldn't be colder because "that's how Chinese people like it". They brought a standing AC unit that didn't work very well, so it took another 1.5 hour fight for them to offer us a different room. Shower drain was clogged and took 1 day to come and fix it. Ordering room service is a full adventure,they couldn't get us the bottle we wanted, then noticed the menu they gave us was wrong, then with the correct one they were also unable to give us what we wanted 2 times and we had to wait around 40 min and 5 visits from the room service staff to get us a bottle.Concierge service non-existent. The lounge opens at 5.30 pm so you can't really get a drink earlier than that except inside your room. At the pool, they just gave one locker because 'they were running low', so we had to share.Overall the new room fixed some of the issues but the lack of service is not up to a Hyatt Collection standard and definitely not according to price

though it's a 5 star hotel, the service levels are lukewarm. We came here well prepared after reading various reviews so we were not too offended, the rooms and views made up for any inadequacy. coming here during off-season makes it more value for money.

Scenic view, comfortable, quality services”
The hotel located in the suburb of Lijiang, 15min away from Suhe Old Town. Nice scenic view as you can view the Jade Dragon mountain from the lobby or even the room if u got one. The services are good. The hotel staff quite friendly and helpful. In view is far from town, is best to get breakfast from hotel. Their breakfast is nice. They also have a mountain lodge near Jade dragon but need the hotel services to go up there. Overall stay is excellent. Highly recommended this hotel.

Check in 時前枱職員非常好，好細心，熱情， 他介紹我們在酒店某一位置拍攝玉龍雪山，還把我們房間提升到山景房， 直接在露台已經看到雪山！ 行李生也非常好，送我們回房途中，介紹酒店餐廳給我們，他還幫我們叫車， 而且還幫我們在訂餐，服務真的很好， 我們住了兩個晚上，都在酒店晚餐，西餐廳經理還過來跟我們打招呼，中餐廳的職員也為我們介紹很好食的雲南菜，這次入住真係非常滿意，下次過來也會入住 而且還會介紹給朋友

一開始住宿遇團客有點混亂, 還好前台主管Alisa給我們昇等房型, 接下來的住宿就非常完美了. 酒店員工都非常熱心, 早餐非常好吃, 種類也很多. 酒店環境非常清幽, 坐在大廳可以看到雪山, 非常詩情畫意! 因為餐廳副總監有告訴我們優惠訊息, 所以我們還買了週五的海鮮自助燒烤, 菜色也非常棒, 餐廳員工Ava還非常熱心幫我們用微信支付餐費, 用餐期間也不斷關心我們吃得如何, 非常謝謝她. 退房後因為吃晚上的自助燒烤, 禮賓部的主管Jasper和員工Jarvis, 也都非常熱心幫我們用滴滴叫車, 把行李拿上車, 總之這是一次非常愉快的住宿, 有機會的話我們一定會再回去, 也非常推薦給大家!
