Tromperie sur la location - A fuire”

Nous sommes très déçus et avons été trompés. Surprise, Le chalet famille proposé à la location en photo sur l'annonce était en fait une chambre commune à l’étage de la maison du propriétaire, qui est plus un businessman que qqn qui prend soin du client, et qui parle créole qd les questions lui sont pénibles. Fuyez l'escroquerie ! Peut etre l'erreur est de réserver trop tôt...et obtenir des tarifs en dessous de ce qu'espère un propriétaire. Pas de chance car sinon les Seychellois sont adorables.

Dépaysement assuré et authenticité au rendez-vous”

Nous avons séjourné avec nos jeunes enfants ( 2ans et demi et 10 mois) et y avons passé un séjour au top. L'emplacement idéal à deux pas du débarcadère. Tout se fait à pied ou à vélo. La chambre était parfaite et le repas qui nous a été servi etait juste inoubliable, pour du local et de l'authentique on ne pouvait rêver de mieux. Comme à la maison :) . Merci encore à nos hôtes !

Très Vétuste ”

Nous avons séjourné dans le chalet 3 chambres. L'ensemble est très vétuste, les étagères de l'armoires ont toutes dégringolé lorsque nous avons rangé les vêtements, le support serviette de la salle de bain idem. Le ventilateur de la salle à mangé hors service et pas réparé du séjour, l'ampoule du salon HS, et les ustensiles de cuisine innommables. Ajoutez un sol très sal malgré le ménage, c'est beaucoup d'un coup. A cela le bruit des rats ou souris qui cavalent dans le toit la nuit. Le personnel a répondu mollement à une parti de nos demandes avec les moyens de bords. Ce qui est scandaleux, c'est qu'avec le prix de deux ou trois nuités, ils pourraient régler une grande parti des problèmes. Bilan : aucun investissement, c'est un gachi car les volumes de cet hébergement sont agréables.

Excellent emplacement”

Malgré plusieurs minutes d'attente, l'accueil de babi fut excellent en nous offrant un jus de fruit de bienvenue. La chambre est spacieuse avec un lit king-size, avec climatisation, une terrasse et salon communs avec TV. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. L'établissement se trouve à 5 minutes à pied de la jetée.

Bon accueil et prix intéressant ”

Excellent accueil de Babi (chambre donnée à notre arrivée le matin, conseils sur les choses à faire sur l'ile, jus de bienvenue, douche dispo après le check out...!), bungalow de très bon rapport qualité prix pour l'île et assez bien placé ! En revanche il n'y a pas de volets/rideaux épais et il y avait des travaux dès 7h du matin, et enfin, pas d'internet. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit si vous ne voulez pas trop dépenser tout en gardant du confort.

Not recommend”

We had a double room, it was quite dirty, the wardrobe smelly, the smell remained on the clothes. The bed also had a very bad smell, the mattress must be very old! The kettle of 0.5l water we could turn on by going under the desk. The room was very loud - you can hear all the loud noises from the living room where the owner lives, private conversations until late evening, and steps of people who lived above us. The house is generally old. Pictures of the terrace, kitchen and living room are from the private part of the house. The owner unpleasant and not interested in guests, when we asked if we could use the microwave he refused. The view from the terrace is on the back of the house with the working part and a laundry, where other guests leave their washing in front of the windows.

Horrible owner”

Room was very small but of course not the end of the world. Lady who welcomed us was lovely BUT the owner's absolutely horrendous behaviour was sickening. On the day of check out, we left our room a little earlier than check out time and sat by the couches of their main lounges. When we asked the hostess the wifi password, the owner jumped in, telling us we are no longer welcome and should not be using the WiFi since we checked out! Was just so petty and repulsive, just proves how awful the local businesses treat tourists. Definitely do not recommend, as there are other places to spend your hard earned money and be treated with dignity and respect during your holiday.

Nice location”

Me and my husband stayed there 3 nights. Rooms are very clean. A/C was working. Owner is very friendly. Rooms are very basic but any way if u are in La Digue u dont stay in your room. Lovely place for very good price.

Do not recommend”

We arrived in the afternoon and they knew what time we will be disembarking the ferry but despite of the fact that they have the buggy no one came to collect us, what's a bit disappointing. On arrival we were greeted and informed that we got an upgrade, from room only to room with the kitchen. I was very happy to hear that however the room and the kitchen looked nothing like on the photos. I actually think we got the worst accommodation available at Kot Babi. The kitchen didn't look nice, the kettle looked and smell disgusting which I had to return to the reception. They didn't take it well and sounded as if I broke it. The gentleman asked me if I also saw it now. I said, I only checked in today and didn't make any hot drinks earlier. The staff was not very friendly at all. One of the cupboard in the kitchen was also broken and looked awful. How can you rent a place like this? Also in the description it said that the hair dryer is available and it wasn't. My worst stay ever.

Close enough to walk from the jetty!”

The guest house was a short walk with our hand luggage from the boat which was useful. Friendly welcome when we arrived. The room was a reasonable size, the facilities need a bit of an update but it was clean and had a fridge and kettle. The ensuite was a very strange shape as it was in the eaves of the house so had a sloping ceiling over the sink and needed some careful maneuvering to get to the toilet between the sloping roof and the shower cubicle. The rooms in the main house are not self-catering - only the chalets. There are take-aways and restaurants a short walk down the road or the owner does offer to cook a meal if you pre-book 24 hours in advance (25 Euro a head) - we didn't try this as she was busy that night. She organised bike hire for us and it was very easy to cycle to both ends of the island roads in one day (although you may need longer if you want time to really enjoy the beaches when you get there).

Staff not helpful”

Location was great. Very simple room with everything available that I needed as a solo traveller. However I would not stay there again or recommend to friends as the staff were not approachable in regards to any queries. Not much tourist/island information available. Staff member arranged for bicycle organiser to meet me but was not friendly so I gave a different bicycle company my business. Breakfast cost 10 euros only for stale toast with jam and a very small plate of fruit. Went to the supermarket the next day to purchase food for breakfast which was so much cheaper. Staff just seemed interested in themselves and not for the best interests of their guests.

Double room not as advertised”

The advertised pictures of the double rooms are in the main building. We got a double room in a chalet instead, and had to share our fridge and patio with the other 2 rooms in the chalet but were not allowed to use the chalet's kitchen because we didn't rent the whole chalet ourselves...

OK”

Floors were a bit dirty so we couldn't walk barefoot. Loved 3 separate showers and the quiet neighborhood. Internet connection was very bad. A good stay but overpriced.

Nice house very close to the center of La Pass”

You can reach the port of la Pass in 5 minutes walking. We had a room maybe a little bit too small for 2 adults and two kids with a small bathroom, so it's not possible to prepare any food, but Babi is available to provide breakfast and eventually also dinner.

Worst Experience Ever!”

Owner was highly rude and not at all cooperative. No respect for women. also. Couldnt have more worse experience. Wifi doesnt work at all. Check Out time at 10:00 means 10:00. You will be charged even if it is 10:01.Rude staff just like owner. You will be highly disappointed if you stay there!! Trip Spoiler.

Posizione a pochi passi dal porto, servizio bici economico, cortesia e sorrisi, possibilità di farsi una doccia dopo il check out. Ci tornerei subito.

Il Kot Babi, è stata una piacevole scoperta, molto centrale, e carino. Però la mancanza di zanzariere penalizza molto questa struttura.
