The bedding wasn’t washed they just turn the sheet over! Had hair on the bed! And stain on the floor! Bathroom is so tiny! AND Breakfast 😅🤦‍♀️😓 only TOAST

Well appointed rooms, basic but comfortable. If you have pets it’s an ideal place to stay between Sydney and Melbourne.

Just okay”

Very small room for couple and teenage daughter. Bed was only a double, so our feet stuck over edge. Was a very uncomfortable mattress. $170 was a lot to pay but the complimentary continental breakfast was useful to aid in a quick departure. Room has been renovated - bathroom/vanity modern and spotless.

Clean, comfortable and convenient”

The Lilac City Motor Inn was great for a couple of nights stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable with updated decor and modern bathrooms. Restaurant on site was very convenient. Would recommend to friends, particularly those travelling with pets who need pet friendly accommodation (which is rare).

Comfortable, clean and pet friendly ”

I think this is the only pet friendly motel in Goulburn and you could tell because at least every other guest had a dog with them. It was comfortable and quite clean considering they allow pets. The room didn't have a pet smell either. Very convenient to town and reasonably priced.

Couple with Siberian Husky. per friendly. ”

We particularly chose this motel because it was pet friendly. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was included and because we were not allowed to leave the dog unattended we ate breakfast separately. That can be a good thing for some. We left happy.

Tired and Dirty”

Despite the "Hygienically Clean" label across the lid of the toilet upon lifting it there were residual faecal skid marks. The sheets were threadbare and the blankets were stained. The doonas shoved in the wardrobe were probably originally white looked grey and didn't smell fresh. We were left feeling that only a cursory clean had been done between guests. Not good a the best of times but a real concern in the middle of a pandemic. Worst motel experience we've ever had. Breakfast was fine.

Great space for trailer parking ”

CCTV cameras to make sure that your car and trailer is safe at night and the restaurant is right there so no need to find good food after a long days drive. Beds are very comfy and rooms are very well maintained and equipped with everything you want.

Reception was excellent. Room was updated and clean. Outside the room needs new mats and a good sweep. Continental breakfast was provided. The two course dinner and upgrade to hot breakfast cost extra. Steak was excellent, However, the prawn cocktail was extremely disappointing - defrosted tasteless prawns flat on the plate on two aged cos lettuce leaves. I was told by the server that the bacon was burnt in the middle (no apology) and I sent it back. The new bacon had been cooked on a dirty hotplate and was black with grease. I wrapped it in serviettes to drain and make it edible. Outlook from the dining room needs attention.
