Fantastic Stay at Mantra on Salt”
Mantra on Salt is a lovely large resort with great facilities. The beautiful Lagoon pool was cold but refreshing, and lovely to lounge by in the sun. The heated tropical pool was lovely and more private. We made use of the bicycle hire from reception and it was just charged to our room. Location is fantastic. Straight from the grounds out to Salt Village and Salt Beach. There are cafes, restaurants, shops, day spas, bakeries, a bottle shop, convenience store all within the village. There’s a large supermarket only a few kms drive. All staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping have even posted an item back to us that we had left in our room. We stayed 5 nights in a one bedroom spa apartment. The apartment was clean and well maintained, with a full kitchen as well as washing machine & dryer. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was massive and spa bath was great. There is currently construction on one of the wings (May 2021) so it is completely closed, but we were not disturbed at all by any noise which was a good surprise! The only things I didn’t like was the poor effort of “Happy Hour” at the pool bar. It was only for house beer & wines (not cocktails) and they were priced $1 cheaper than the menu price. I also didn’t like that the fancy cocktails or glasses of wine were poured into plastic beer tumblers to take by the pool. I understand the safety issue of course, but maybe get some actual wine glasses and cocktails glasses made from plastic/melamine? An espresso martini in a plastic beer cup is not right… Overall we highly recommend this resort for couples and families. It has everything you need and in an absolutely beautiful part of the world. We will be back!

Fabulous location resort & access to restaurants ”
We had a wonderful 14 nt stay at Mantra on Salt & would love to back asap Direct access to Salt Village & their many high quality restaurants not to mention the Patisseries & Tavern. Plenty to do with bike riding tennis table tennis direct access to a wonderful long stretch of beach & a fabulous pool with well priced cocktails etc. We were also able to catch up with Qld relos which was a bonus!!! Well done Mantra a wonderful Oasis in this crazy covid world. Jen

Love this resort”
Second trip, very relaxing place to stay. Love the suites, spacious balcony, comfortable bed, full kitchen & large bathroom. Salt village very convenient, good range of shops nearby. Great pool, friendly staff.

Good young family destination”
The mantra resort was nicely maintained and the lagoon pool was awesome for our 18 month old daughter as she could confidently walk in and out of the pool and play along the shore line with her toys. We spend a few hours a day sitting down relaxing while she played. Special mention to the Mexican place in salt village and the buffet breakfast you can get at peppers was pretty good value for money when it was 2for1 with under 12 free. We had a 1 bedroom spa suite which has a full kitchen and separated bedroom. Definitely returning next year. The location is out of the main streets of Kingscliff but it’s only a short drive or a 15 bike ride into town.

Perfect spot at Kingscliff”
Had a great stay here, staff were always friendly and willing to help or provide directions when needed. Lovely large room and comfy bed ... weirdly our room had a disabled bathroom which meant huge floods of water in the bathroom every time someone had a shower, and having to navigate around 2 fold out seats when trying to shower (?) ... unsure if this is the same in all the 1brm garden view rooms? Only downside is that they don't do daily housekeeping for the rooms (which we didn't realise) until the 2nd day of no housekeeping .. that would have improved the stay, but otherwise we loved it.

King of the Coast”
We have been regular's at the Mantra since it's opening and have never been disappointed with our stay. We had a just an Ocean view this time, although the Pool view, with the Ocean view is always the best.

Beautiful & Relaxing”
We thoroughly enjoyed the Mantra on salt. Accomodation with slight ocean views overlooking the gorgeous pool area was perfect. Loved all the restaurants nearby in the salt village. Great beachside walk or ride into town of Kingscliff ! Highly recommended The only disappointment was the pool bar closed too early at 5pm and when your relaxing by the pool you didn’t want to walk all the way around to the hotel to get a drink!

Right on the beach. Great pool. Comfy bed. Clean room. Parking underneath. A short drive to cafes and coffee. Sadly wifi not free.

Nice apartment”
Lovely clean apartment with comfortable bed and good kitchen and laundry facilities. Nice balcony accessible from lounge and bedroom. Beautiful bathroom with spa bath. Pretty views of the garden. Recommend visiting outside the school holidays unless you enjoy the sound of teenagers screaming and shouting in the grounds late at night. Fortunately the security team is very responsive, but it would be better if they proactively policed this rather than waiting for exasperated residents to call and ask for something to be done.

A nice hotel in a beautiful Location”
We stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect as a weekend getaway. Beautiful part of NSW and the hotel is in a great location, although it isn't close to transport so a car is the preferred method of getting there. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom that included a bath! The room itself wasn't huge, but we were only there for 1 night so it met our needs perfectly.

Great spot for a getaway”
For what we paid we were expecting a basic hotel room, instead be got a one bedroom self contained apartment! We stayed 2 nights, the salt village has everything you need, the beach at your front door! The main pool area was lovely. Would stay again.
