beautiful sunset, nice staffs”
The resort located in a small island which you need to take a boat there. I got a necklace from the cells when we just arrived. All the staffs were really nice and helpful. There was a lady seeing me walking on the sand without slippers and she offered to lend me hers. The island was quite crowded in the daytime but after all the hopping tour left, i felt like i was the owner of it. the sunset is breathtaking! The food was so so, not really delicious but for me it was ok. It is definitely a place to get rid of the crazy life when you lay lazily on the bed listening to some guitar, hearing the sound of the ocean. The room is with very basic equipment, and, no slippers. no electric from 6 pm to 8 am as i remember
Best of the best location to stay”
We are very relaxed to stay here, location is isolated island where you can snorkeling at the best spot. A lot of tourist during the day, but after 4.00 pm is very peaceful and the sunset view here is speechless. As it is an island, cost of living here is included extra charge, the food is very good taste though. Staff also very nice.
Didn't really go there...”
If you are planning to stay in the resort, just keep in mind that the boats to the island only run before 5pm. You won't find the reminder in the information page, and since the booking is basically unrefundable, it tends to be too late when you notice that in the confirmation page. My flight landed in 4:20pm, so I could't get to the property. I wrote to the staff to find out a solution but their response are quite ineffecient and reluctant. It was lucky enought that I then learnt that my friends were also planning to visit Cebu, so I transfer the booking to their name. According to my friends, the resort is really tiny, but the view is good. Food is awful and there is no hot shower.
Amazing location and staff”
Loved the location would 100% recommend going here for a night or two. Food was good and fair value so were drinks however water should be cheaper. View from room balcony was amazing Bed was comfy but fan in room #15 was very noisy and on top of that would intermittently squeal so had to leave on lowest setting. The aircon sounded like a tractor was idling in the room, so left that off.
WEEKEND RETREAT”
If your looking for someplace you can visit just a few minutes from Mactan Island, then this is the place to be! Quite place and honestly so many fishes you can see. The place you can snorkel is safe and has a cordoned area. The rooms are over looking the ocean and has such a great view ( no tv though ). It is very quite in the early morning and late afternoon ( they have a lot of Island Hopping tourists around 10 pm to 3: 00 pm so it gets a little noisy ). Another thing, they charge you Php 2500 when they bring you to and fro to the island. We were only 2 people in a big banca, this seemed very inefficient and expensive, maybe they could offer a time as to when guests can be brought to the island as a group? That way they could save on money (the guest) as well fuel used just for that trip.
Bliss”
Stunning, tranquil location within an hour of Mactan Cebu airport. The staff, food & snorkeling were all great & even when the daytrippers are visiting it's simply idyllic.House guests have access to exclusive areas both in & out of the water so just ask!
Perfect island with fish, and pool like beach”
Staffs arranging the pick up boat is nice, and was there waiting us with no complains. The hotel itself is abit old and needs a renovation for the rooms maybe, but takes nothing away from the staffs and surroundings. One side is perfect for snorkel with variety of fish. Another side is as calm as a swimming pool (or a huge sand bank during low tide). Restaurant is very locally priced with great food. Island is very quiet, with just 2 rooms occupied during our stay. The staffs has some pet dogs and cat are big plus as well. Definitely would come back if i come Cebu again!
Mixed bag but worth a stay for boat snorkeling”
Not for everyone - but if you want to be near Cebu and get in some snorkeling, this is a good stop over point for a couple of nights. Pros: cute rooms including Private balcony actually Over water - breezes, sea view vista views, sounds of sea; inexpensive access to EXCELLENT snorkeling - but must arrange boat through front desk (only $10 US total for both of us!) , Staff very friendly/helpful, geographically close to airport (about an hour total boat + cab, depending on tide), decent net access in key hot spots Cons: this is really a day resort for day boats/lunch with a score of small overnight rooms, daily overrun with tourists from 11 - 3ish,, jump in snorkeling VERY limited (area and Coral - arrange a boat if you are a serious snorkeler), Food/buffet is just ok, vibe is very tourist-like, but ok outside of tourist hours, Cebu-side launch doc not easy to find (get a cabbie that knows Blue Reef or Ocean Pearl resort it’s next to those), net access in rooms weak
FABULOUS!!”
As usual Nalasuan Island is the Best of the Best in the Phillipines! A little pricey but the best! All staff are Absolutely wonderful friendly and helpful, great location, fabulous rooms, took my parents in law and they loved it too. Excellent snorkelling, great food. The Best in the Phillipines! Can't wait to come back! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Acceptable”
The marine reserve was very tiny area to snorkel and most of it was dead from the huge amount of tourists in the water. The accommodation was bad. No hot water. Food was only average and the grounds had no beaches or lounge chairs. It’s ok to visit for an hour or two but I would not recommend staying there.
Fantastic”
This place is amazing
Honeymoon and diving”
Best place for snorkeling and diving ,so romantic place ,love here
One of the best in cebu”
We’ve been here twice and it never fails to amuse us. What we love the most about the place is the school of colorful fishes along the dock. Snorkelling is a must when u visit the place... the food needs to be improved though.
Great place to bad we had a tropical storm to watch ”
So great things were : -Amazing staff and brilliant food (TRY mango float ! ) .. Snorkelling area well maintained with corals and fishes and lovely dogs running around Not so great : Wifi and restricted electricity and low water pressure . Over would have had a blast time if it wasn't the storm but the resort tried it's best especially the staff!
Absolutely awesome”
Our stay at Nalusuan was magic. The photos don't do it justice at all. We had read many reviews and most were great, some said out was too busy, however we had the island completely to ourselves for our stay. The staff were great, even giving us a tour on the way out on the boat and explaining ascot the area. There were quite a few day trippers but we were put first always. When checking out, they allowed us to stay in our room until we wanted to go which was 4pm. The fish you can see when snorkeling are awesome. Overall, highly recommended and a beautiful place to spend a few days.
Relaxing Island Stay”
The place was nice. Quiet and not plenty of people when we were there. Electricity available from 6pm to 6am. You can hear the birds chirping in your balcony facing the sea. Food was very good. Access by boat to the Island for P2,000. And the staff were nice and polite.
Amazing”
Which is an awsome experience! It is a little far away, you have to go to the wharf then transfer the boat to this island, but is totally worth it once you get there! Warm welcome, nice food, most important , it is very pretty! Snorkeling side, beach , and I watch sunset there, everything is amazing!
The resort is too noisy for relaxation”
I am a snorkelling lover , the snorkelling spot at this resort is excellent . But the resort will be crowed with noisy day trip tourist in the afternoon, and there is no place for me to relaxing at the beach . The room of the resort has no electricity from 8.00am to 6.00pm , it's so hot that I cannot relaxing in my room too .
