Location and facilities”
Visited Nan when the weather was cold and nice. The restaurant for breakfast was great with some of Northern Thai and western food, something for everyone. Service was great with staffs carrying our bags to our rooms. Only downside was we couldn't open our window because it look out to the parking lot and the dinning room across our room but this is a downside that cannot fixed due to the law on buildings in the city. I could definitely come back and stay in this hotel.
Wonderful hotel”
Stayed in this hotel for only 1 night but wished it was longer. Everything was wonderful and I wanted extra rooms but Agoda was full. Called the hotel directly and got the extra rooms that I needed and they accommodated my group by putting all of us on the same floor with rooms next to each other. The facilities were good and breakfast was taken on a veranda which was wonderful. I will definitely return to this hotel again.
Comfortable Hotel, Clean Room and Friendly Staff”
Well maintained hotel and overall enjoy the stay. Local markets is quite an experience as well city attractions are within walking distance or take a bicycle which is free to use to extend the city discover
New Hotel in Town”
We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to a lovely delux room with its own small garden. The delux rooms have a free mini bar and free high speed internet access. The buffet breakfast was not extensive but good in a very nice restaurant area. The hotel has a travel bureau and a small cafe serving Thai food coffee and cakes. It is a lovley hotel and a good place to stay if visiting Nan.
very nice , clean, not far from market”
New hotel , not far from market you can walk or ride hotel's bicycle. Room is spacious , clean and very comfortable. Staffs are very freindly. Breakfast is good. For your dinner you can walk to restaurant ,pub or find street foot which are not far from hotel. This was my second time staying here, if there will be next time ,this hotel still be my choice
Good location, very close to the city”
It was nice vacation for the first time at Nan. This hotel is nearby the Nan city. You can walk around in about half kilometer. The room is quiet, good decorated, even for standard room. Standard room also has hair dryer! I will come back again.
Clean, Peace, Easy to go to attraction places in the heart of city ”
We rented a car when we stayed at the hotel. Location was very good. It was convenience and took around 5 minutes for riding from the hotel to attraction places in the heart of city i.e. Ming Maung Temple. It was easy to ride to other districts as well. Hotel was peace. Room was clean. There was convenience store, fresh market and good restuarant offering Thai and local food in walking distance. There were free bicycles offered to guests for borrowing and biking. Recommend this hotel
a restful place in nan with super-sweet staff”
I stayed in Nan for three days and the Nan Boutique Hotel was extremely pleasant. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helped me with all sorts of travel decisions, bus schedules, air schedules, etc. They were a friendly sight to return to after a long (and very hot) day of walking around the city. The huge breakfast buffet was not included in my very cheap room price, but I bought some breakfast stuff at a nearby 7-Eleven and kept them in the room fridge and then sprang for the buffet (200 baht) anyway each morning. Easy walking distance to riverside restaurants and the center of town (it's not a huge town)...slightly longer walk to the museum and major temples but perfectly do-able. One note: if you arrive late at the bus station (my bus from Chiang Mai got in at about 9:30 PM) it can be hard to find transportation. I got the last remaining taxi, I think.
My Trip to Nan my Wife's Home Town”
Wonderful Hotel, very, very clean and awesome staff. The breakfast if you choose to is worth it also. Location is close to many other areas if u want to walk around do a little local eating. My biggest thing is the Hotel itself was super nice and clean with a nice bed.
very disappointed ”
we booked 2 rooms 1 standard and 1 superior room the only different of the rooms was room interiors and mini bar which was very disappointed there were 2 free water 4 different kind of juice and cookie's it cost nearly 600 bath more for 1 night than standard room so it was not worth it we felt that we have been cheated!!! . for 600 bath you can buy a lot of things in 7 eleven! the WiFi was very slow. the superior room has a terrace where you can sit out at night but you can't sit out there because of the noise from aircondition! the buffet breakfast was terrible 2 kind of hot dishes salat bar toast sausages ham and eggs need to be improved! the hotel is 1.5 kilometres away from weekend market . all in all I we will not recommended this hotel. I believe you will get more for your money in another hotel in Nan.
Superior experience for the price ”
Other than breakfast no other real complaints. The staff were as attentive as humanly possible.. Free minibar, free taxi service to and from bus station..good location.. DVD player in room, spacious amenities.. Nice ambiance.. The breakfast was limited(I like a nice spread with many options) but everything looked fresh.. About as good as you can get for the money.. Only booked for the night because I was passing through Nan but would most certainly come back
Nicest hotel in Nan”
The hotel is just a few steps from the main road. But those few steps take you into a private area, like your own courtyard with cafe, spa, out door resaturant and hotel rooms in two buildings. Friendly atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, high quality on all service. We do recommend Nan Boutique Hotel and would definetely choose to stay there if we ever get a chance to come back to this nice and wecoming town.
Excellent Hotel”
A great hotel in the center of Nan. The staff are so nice and friendly. The rooms are excellent. Large, clean with a good bed and aircon. The breakfast in the morning is fresh and nice. A top hotel that I will return to many times.
One of the most welcoming hotels in SE Asia!”
Unequivocally, Nan Boutique Hotel is one of the, if not THE most delightful, pleasurable hotels in which I have ever stayed in SE Asia. My first visit to Nan; on arrival, I unfortunately found the hotel in which I was booked unsatisfactory. I moved to Nan Boutique Hotel. Delightful, comfortable, lovely hotel. Quiet location, tho' just minutes from the market, "Walking Street" (Saturdays, the main street becomes a pedestrian mall, selling all manner of products; from foodstuffs, to clothing, statuary, bric-a-brac, and more), the National Museum, parks, and many of Nan's exquisite temples. Superior Zen room: very comfortable, had everything: in-room safe, refrigerator, mini-bar (fresh fruit, snacks, juices complimentary), hair dryer, TV, air-conditioning, free wi-fi; bathroom: all facilities/accessories (shampoo, conditioner, body cream, etc.) Breakfast in Taz's Kafe, verandah level: very good a la carte menu selection & freshly brewed coffee (no instant coffee here!). I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Nan Boutique Hotel, particularly the young ladies/gentlemen @ Reception. Good knowledge of English and all of them so extraordinarily, genuinely caring of the well-being of guests. Sadly, my arrival in Nan was fraught with unfortunate experiences, but once I changed hotels & moved to the Nan Boutique, everything sorted itself out. My stay there was nothing short of perfection. The care & attention of Reception staff was exceptional: they wouldn't let me go to the Bus Terminal to purchase my reservation for my return to Chiang Mai but insisted on sending a staffer to purchase ticket for me. Truly above & beyond the call of duty! I highly recommend the Nan Boutique 1st choice in Nan. Deepest appreciation/thanks to the staff for extraordinary care & attention.
A very nice surprising retreat”
I booked the hotel after reading several good reviews and Nan Boutique Hotel did not disappoint. It's a bit more expensive for the city but it's very clean with huge room & great amenities. There's a restaurant next to the hotel and a pub/restaurant opposite which closes at midnight showing the English Premiere League.
Great location and supper service with Smile”
It was my first time visiting nan. I was enjoy my holiday very much the staff at hotel make this trip very easy. The hotel clean and located just they way I like right in the city. you can use the bicycle for free that is very handy to visit the town and all around the city. Thank you very much for warm hospitality and will go back again one day
Great stylish room and plenty of space”
We ate in the restaurant which is open air and upstairs above the covered car park. This may not be good for anybody that needs assistance getting up the stairs. We had dinner there the first night, and had the feeling that we were interrupting the server's television show, as we were the only ones dining and she was watching a show on the TV in the restaurant. We were not greeted the first morning, or asked if we wanted coffee or tea. We found this very unusual for small Thai hotels. We decided to serve ourselves as it was a the usual buffet, but there was a person cooking eggs. The food was good although the person running the restaurant seemed very unorganized which was very evident the second night dining there when there several tables of people.
Very much in the middle of a province town: Nan”
We've stayed here for two nights in the almost mids of October 2012 after a journey from the Golden Triangle to Nan and before our next one on our way to Chiang Mai. We arrived at Nan Boutique Hotel after a more than six hours car drive and then one expects a warm shower. No way, José... The hotel uses the old fashioned electronic boiler system which means right on the spot hot water tru an electrical heating system. However, one or more words of the last sentence were not build as a technical thing in our bathroom system and for that matter also not in the ones of our group... So that did not work. So showering at this hotel is refreshing though unpleasant. Large, nice, fresh, clean twin room. Although asked for a double bed. Okay.. for two nights we do not make a fuzz out of that. We are just two guys who are happily and legally married. Breakfast is nice and in buffet. Eggs in any form or style are live cooked or boiled. The yoghurt is in cute glasses, the bread can be toasted and there is choise of salad and/or rice soup. Coffee (brewed for the day...) and tea (hot water and a tea bag) provided and all situated under a nice by bamboo overheaded with a white tiled floored terrace. The staff is nice and friendly and the spa is very relaxing and a must. From the hotel one walks for dinner quite easily into the river area where the restaurants are. The day market is also closeby as well as a place to drink a deacent cup of coffee. Nan Boutique Hotel is fine for just two nights. At least for us. The reason why I clicked on 'Sports / Adventure' because this hotel and city was in the middle of our trip.
