We very much enjoyed our stay. Tv only has only Thai programming but a DVD player is available. Good lighting in the bathroom during the day but no outlets. Vanity with outlet available in other room. Breakfast is authentic Thai food.
Nice staff and nice room. ”
It's very nice hotel. There was beautiful decorations in lobby room and all part ofthis hotel. But there was some problem in my toilet, there was something wrong with a sink but I think because this hotel is very new and I think they can fix it well.
Good location for family with children with car”
About 3 mins drive from downtown where temple are located. Room is nicely decorated, however, some detail is overlooked such as the boiler were dirty and full of ant (already made complaint to manager). Pool is not well maintained (probably during cold season) Breakfast is ok but time window is only at 10 Still ok to go back
Friendly and warm staff”
Spacious and comfortable room with nice view. Reception manned by friendly and helpful staff. Although they were not conversant in English, they tried to understand and assist. Nice quiet surroundings. Only shortfall was needs time for hot water to filter into the taps. Overall very pleasant.
Good location, nice staff but poor food”
The hotel location, staff are all great. Plenty of parking space. Furniture are new but not well maintain. Food are poor for both dinner and breakfast. Coffee machine should be replaced. It produce poor coffee. Very disapoint.
Although hotel located really close to the Airport but at night it amazingly quiet (maybe because there is no flight around Nan at night). The room is supper nice luxury and huge. Too bad we checked in quite late so didn't have time for swimming pool and other facility. Only two things which I picked up that worth to mention are some bugs and lizard inside our bathroom, and the food here is nothing call special. So if you want some good local food, go hit in the city center.
Average and Clean Hot”
This hotel is a little to far away from the city. But the room is big and clean more than many hotel i stayed so far. This was my first time in Nan, if you look for a nice and clean hotel. This one is a good choice.
This place is excellent.”
It was my first time in Nan and I felt so comfortable to stay in this hotel. We have a car so it was convenient to travel into the city. Good food and nice staff. Private environment from noisy city market and quite closed to Nan airport.
It's a big clean room Fabulous breakfast Staff are hospitality and have service-mind The location is very good located near Nan airport around 1 km

Room is big, but the pool is dreadful”
I normally don't leave bad reviews, but I was very disappointed in this hotel. We live in Thailand so I have been to many hotels here of different degrees. I booked the most expensive room--the Premier Room--at the Nantrungai, which was about $75, but with my children added, the total was $100. This is an expensive price for hotels in Thailand out in the country, in Nan. For this price, I was expecting something very nice, but after going there, this hotel is probably a $40-50 a night hotel. The only pros were that the room was huge and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge as well, but had quite a bit of mildew already for only being 5 years old. There were also a lot of ants. Woke up with ants in our toothbrushes! The main reason I wanted to 'splurge' on this hotel was because there was a pool for my kids to swim in. My kids were so excited to go swimming. We got to the pool and it had a neon green glow. At first I was thinking, it must be green from the choice of tiles. I let the kids get in and swim, but then I investigated and realized the pool was infested with algae. There was algae caked on the sides, steps, and seats of the pool. You could also see little bits of algae floating throughout the pool. My son was also following a little tadpole in the kiddie pool. I had the kids get out and went to the front desk and told them the pool desperately needed to be cleaned for the health of their guests! I don't think my suggestion resonated because a few hours later, there was a woman conducting an intense swim class for about 10 local kids in the pool. I would recommend everyone to choose a different hotel in Nan. This hotel was also just out of town and they charge 100 baht per person/per way if you want to take a shuttle to town. And breakfast was so-so.
Don't bother with Breakfast Here - worst ever”
We were very disappointed with this hotel. The room size is good and clean but there are no niceties that you would normally expect for hotel if this price. Our biggest gripe is the breakfast. This was by far the worst breakfast I have had in a hotel in Thailand, especially considering the price of the stay. Food was very limited and all food was cold and left to empty for refilling. Food was not kept warm and all was cold at buffet. Staff were not slow and sluggish to move around.. playing on iPhone etc. There was no waitress service. Considering the price of this hotel and its location out of town, I definitely do not recommend that you stay here. There MUST be better accommodation in this town.
Good, but for the service and cleanliness”
Our stay was fine at this hotel, however a few things let it down from being a very good stay. The grounds and general public spaces in the hotel are well kept. The rooms for a local hotel are well appointed, however they let themselves down really badly with the cleanliness especially in the bathroom. It would not take much to clean properly, but this seems to be difficult. The other thing which was odd was the service in the restaurant, as very slow and very not Thai! We waited about 20 minutes just to get a menu and eventually gave up and went down the road. The food on a night we did get served, was on the whole quite OK, although breakfast is very much to a Thai pallet. This hotel could be a real gem if they could sort out the cleanliness and service.
A Quite Boutique Hotel near airport”
This hotel is located near to the airport and they provide free shuttle transport from/to airport. Affordable price for a quality boutique hotel. The room is spacious, big bed and a nice armchair corner. The lighting in room is nice. The amenities in room is quite complete: sandals, bathrobe, laptop size safety box, hair dryer, toiletries. The bathroom is big but quite old fashion shower. There is wifi in rooms but sometimes difficult to connect. There is only local tv channels and no sattelite or cable tv channels. They provide a nice breakfast buffet. You also can use free bicycle provided by hotel. However please be careful to do cycling around the hotel as the road in front of the hotel is a provincial highway. There is no walking distance shop/convenient store nearby.
