super piscine, fitnness complet, jaccuzi, calme”
Tres bon rapport qualite/prix.
New Hotel, Quiet environment, Cheap Price”
Great pool view room and amazing to hang out at the swimming pool. I paid the price for all facilities to be used at the hotel. it has amazing pool garden and has beautiful surroundings.. great small river view at the back. Chill out at huge room balcony and admiring the scenery!
A very strange place”
Regimented. Disrespect to farangs. Needed to stay 6 days and became to know the place well. We switched rooms 3 times. It's a real shame: pool 25m,(a bit foggy, issues with pump);nice Jacuzzi, ample fitness equipment, but all open to local non residents. The staff isn't trained,if you forget stuff in rooms, its gone+they are inquisitive about your suitcases! Our toilet got blocked, they stressed about a 2500bht penalty(silly)but tried a broken plunger to unblock it unsuccessfully, left us 2 days with it, before I pointed out the problem and replacement and a friendly (whow at least one!)young girl fixed it! Best room with bath tub and shower, but no hot water! Internet worked for 1. day, than not until last. Dep.early morning, but no water at all in room, had cold shower at pool. The place is isolated and far from town (6km) Turning off things to save money and implementation of bizarre rules are spoiling relaxation.(dont drink that there, dont eat there but here, signs&penalties everywhere!) We are thick skinned, but were left with: you like our money, but not you. Try it out, see for yourself!
Ok. Not great. Not terrible. ”
I am from Canada and live in Thailand. I don't often get the opportunity to have a nice bath as I don't have a tub at my home, so whenever I travel I always find a hotel with a bathtub and I usually pay more for that perk, as I did here. Not important to everyone, but it is to me. This is the sole reason I stayed at this hotel. Imagine my dismay when I realized that the bathtub produced luke warm water, at best. There was a monsoon outside, so I was really looking forward to a nice hot bath. This isn't the first time I've encountered this problem in Thailand and it always leaves me super frustrated. You charge me for a perk, you better provide it. The only saving grace was that this hotel actually has a hot tub next to the pool so I went and used that. The pool was good, the hot tub was good, the room was ok, nothing special but not the worst room I've stayed in, pretty unremarkable really. If I had it to do over I would have rented a room without the tub, for less, and been happier.
Nice place away from town, quiet, friendly staff”
2 things that could be improved 1. Wood outer Bed platforms should be cut off...how many times do people bang their legs? Good Matttesses. Comfortable sleep. 2. The very dirty mopp used with smelly chemical cleaner used to clean the tile floor did not actually clean the floor , just spread more dirt around. Love the style of bathrooms,
Need transport, nice facilities, ”
When are travelers going to realize hotels like these in the provinces are set up for Thais. After reading the reviews on agoda I was sold on this hotel. Big carpark, nice rooms, overlooking river, friendly staff , not much English , breakfast cold fried eggs, instant coffee and 2 sausages, no bread, no fruit, This is Thai style... No English TV! Be happy reviewers from abroad. It's a Thai hotel....but I loved my stay there, The big comfortable bed, pool was clean, although they have children swim lessons for 2 hours every night between 4.30 -6.30 pm.who swim across the pool not long ways Well equipped gym over looking pool, if that's what you are after on your trip. Best part was it was quiet!
Unhelpful, Rude Staff. Decent pool”
We were shown around the hotel by a member of staff, we were 2 adults and 1 child. We didn't have much time so we went to finish our business in Surat thani, booked via agoda and returned a few hours later to check in. Upon check in the staff informed us we would have to pay an extra 300Thb if the child wanted to swim in the pool, reluctantly we paid the extra fee (having really only booked this hotel for use of the pool). I felt they should have informed us of this while we all viewed the pool together or discussed the price, not after we booked. We then sat beside the pool for a few hours, bought a couple of cold soft drinks from the bar next to the pool and 2 mins later a member of staff approached my Thai partner and rudely pointed to a list of rules which she had carried over with her, snarled at us and walked away without explaining anything. So not only do they charge extra to use the hotel pool, but they also allow you to buy drinks from the fridge next to the pool and then make a scene when you have the nerve to drink them at the poolside seating area. There are so many hotels to choose from in this area, and these people may wonder why their hotel is less than half full during high season. I review every hotel I stay in over the last 4-5 years and love to give good reviews, however when you are made to feel unwelcome, and like you are being ripped off I also feel the need to let people know about it. I do not like to pay for this treatment. Other than that the rooms are clean and decent, with bare concrete walls, no view, and a list of expensive taxi services which you should definitely NOT use. Luckily we had a car so didn't have to, however the charges to Tesco lotus and Central world were just scandalous! These type of establishments are what give Thailand a bad name, shameful! Unless you have your own transport and no other option then i would suggest staying somewhere else. If you are desperate then at least the rooms are clean.
The "Resort" had no eating facility!! My room had some sort of insect problem which left bits of sawdust all over the counters. They do have ample vehicle parking!! Will stay at another hotel if I am ever in this city again!
Nice little gem in Suratthani”
It was a nice find for an overnight stay in Suratthani. The hotel doesn't have a kitchen, but that's not a problem since street food is abundant in Suratthani. You will need a car though, since the resort is located in an alley, away from the main road and city noise. The room is clean and comfortable, definitely worth the money. It also features a nice swimming, a gym and an open air lobby where you can hang out with friends.
Nice and convenient”
Third weekend in a row we stayed here. Had a bigger room this time which had a few mosquitos and some other issues. Staff took care very quickly and efficiently. Very basic breakfast but all in all good stay. Without wheels this hotel is isolated though.
It's a nice hotel with a good pool, gym and a small play park for children. Without your own transportation, it's very much out of the way of pretty much everything. Modern and efficient rooms, the resort seems to be fairly new.
Very relaxing hotel ”
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. The swimming pool was big and by the river. It was very relaxing. Also, the hotel is very close to the big shopping mall, Central. I would stay there again...
A good hotel a bit ff the beaten track need a car ”
The hotel is good it only has a very simple menu which is a shame as you really have to eat out .You need a car and you need to know your way about to find anything. The swimming pool, gym, and room we stayed in all good the free wi fi worked well. The hotel runs a small kindergarten on the premises which includes swimming lessons in the evenings which is fine if you don't mind a few extra bodies in the pool . I would defiantly stay there again as the price is right for the accommodation I also live in Thailand and know Surat Thani well which helps.
