Great restaurant. Best beef we have ever had. Lovely log fire. Very clean. Very good covid monitoring.

A great escape to beautiful southern highlands”

Although many amenities and housekeeping were not available due to Covid, our stay was very good. The highland king rooms were large , comfortable and warm. My Broughton golf club is on the premises as is 2 tennis courts and an outdoor pool. Close to Moss Vale, Bowral and surrounds, highly recommend

While the manor house was very impressive and interesting our room on the hill was very disappointing. Small, no desk - we were expecting more from Peppers

Pleasant stay”

Hotel is located on acres which takes in a tennis court, lovely gardens and a swimming pool (lots of garden debris in pool)so we just sat on chairs taking in some sun. There is a small restaurant on premises but which we chose to eat elsewhere as was quite pricey and not keen on the menu. The old house has very charming décor as do the guest rooms. Although we had a slanted roof in our bathroom and twice I mastered a huge headache by neglecting to remember it being there. There was a bath in our room which I did like with 1 small soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and bath gel. Parking was a short distance away and out of range from hotel view, disabled parking was much closer. We enjoyed our one night stay, and reception was quite friendly and welcoming.

I am writing this review to explain that we didn't actually stay at The Manor,which we had booked for but apparently we were double booked and changed over to Peppers at Craigieburn.

My partner and I did a nice one day road trip down to Sutton Forest from Sydney. Scored some nice photos on the property. Room was decent sized. Dinner at their restaurant was also lovely.

Wrong room + rude staff + dated venue = no thanks! ”

Rude unapologetic staff - definitely not what we’ve experienced or expect from Peppers. Despite our confirmation email stating we had booked a garden wing deluxe upon arrival we were told that they only had a double in the main building (outdated - tiny- door couldn’t even open as it hit the bed...same issue for another couple we were traveling with) Given it was Easter weekend we understand they are booked out and have little flexibility with the room but the lack of customer service dealing with the issue was really disappointing. No apology or empathy, let alone a bottle of wine or discount to room rate re; the mix up - just blaming booking.com - who Peppers choose to list with. Certainly wouldn’t recommend and will rethink booking with Peppers again as it had always been a safe choice due to the reputation & experience which has now changed in our eyes. Onsite staff seemed inexperienced & flustered. Disappointing is an understatement.

Outdated and overrated”

This was a lovely hotel at some stage however it is now outdated and of average standard. The staff were lovely and super helpful, however the room was TINY and limited. It was a bit out of the way also. The power cut out a few times and we had no hot water for a shower. Another room looked into our bathroom and living area so we had to close the blinds at all times. I would not stay here again.

Great stay again. Last time in one of the chalets. These are being refurbished and the makeover will continue though the house and garden rooms. Will return again.

country comfort”

My wife and I stayed in a suite which was very big with a sitting room.We did think the whole roo was a bit old fashioned except for the bed which was fabulous . Breakfast was excellent as was the service.Money paid for the room was over the top and there are better value rooms.

Really nice. The staff were great they let us check in early and leave late and in pretty sure they upgraded our room! Food was lovely and hotel grounds are gorgeous. Great stay!
