Nous avons réservé une chambre pour 2 privée. La sdb était commune et la fenêtre de notre chambre donnait dessus. Autant dire que toutes les personnes qui allaient se laver ou à la toilette, c'est comme si elles étaient dans notre chambre tellement l'insonorisation est mauvaise. De plus, un néon éclairant la sdb commune éclairait également l'intérieur de notre chambre comme si le soleil était levé. Autant que nous avons essayé de passer une nuit là puis nous avons fui!

The owner of this hostel is so lovely that i felt home. The hostel is bigger than it seems, and the dorm are very comfortable. You get water, cattle, towels, and the great company of the owner ! See you again !

I had a great stay at Barsay in a four bed dorm. Very modern rooms and a nice host. Close to Phantip Market and the ferry Pier.

Nice calm Hostel ”
The location is great, close to Phantip Market and the city center. The host was super friendly and helpful, he’s like the nice uncle who cares about you ! The 4 bedrooms included a bathroom and the size is perfect and the bed sturdy. It was super clean when I arrived but it got a bit messy after a few days since no one came to clean. I would recommend if you’re looking to be close to the center in a chill place.

Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!”
We are two german girls who stayed in the hostel for one night. Although we just booked at 19:30 pm on the same day (very last minute) we had no problem checking in! The employee was very nice and we felt very confortable. All in all we definitely recommend this hostel If you want a nice place to sleep near the pear for good Money!

Great budget hostel ”
The owner is lovely , not much in the hostel but there’s computers, lounge/common area at the front and a nice chill balcony common area next to toilets. Very quiet & peaceful so if you like a party hostel this isn’t for you. Could be a bit cleaner but I only seen 1 staff member so might’ve been why. Would recommend!

A quiet place”
We only stayed for a night because we needed to get to the pier early in the morning. But the Hostel had everything we needed and we felt comfortable. There wasn’t much going on but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place.

Good option if you don't have a place on fullmoon period”
It's a bit far away from Thongsala pier(about 15 mins by foot) and not very socializing hostel, but not overpriced.

Not a good hostel”
Staff was not very friendly. Staff is just relaxing outside, while the bathroom is really dirty with dust, spiders, cockroaches and clocked drains... No hand soap, soap or shampoo. The blanket of the bed is just a towel. Curtains do not block the light. Not a social hostel.

Ok for full moon but never stay again”
This place was the only option I had since I was there the full moon day. The rest of the hostels were either booked or were too expensive. It is far from the party area but there will be lots of small buses to take you to the party if you walk 10 mins from the hostel. They overbooked that day. My friend didn't have a bed even if she paid for it. The bedsheets were so dirty that I had to ask them to change it. The way they place the beds in the rooms are just so weird that I didn't feel comfortable at all. Bathroom was pretty dirty too

we booked a private room and it was very very very basic. we had a window in our room but it faced the bathroom which had a light on all night making it hard to get to sleep. bathrooms were vile, and basically outdoors so there were geccos and bugs everywhere.

Basic, good location, not the cleanest”
It is very basic, not really clean, no place for socializing. The owner was kind, location was good. By bike 3 mins from the central, walking might be 10-12 minutes.

The owner is nice, an elderly local man. Location was good, if you have a bike. You must have a bike if you want to go around the island. Otherwise, try to book a bit more central location. The number of toilets/showers were very little compared to the number of people using them. Thus, they were not really clean.. Try to book a bed with a bathroom inside the room, that was better for my 2nd night. If you're looking for a place for socializing, do not book it. There's no such a place here. However, I'm afraid I got bedbug bites here, so I would not return.
