Cosy little B&B”

this place is a cosy little place and the owners do take pride in their place with their decoration and amenities. it feels homely and the breakfast was great. simple but fresh and tasty. i had two young children and three adults, and it felt a little cramped in my family suite. i wouldn't stay at the split-level family suite again though because the top level is not safe for young children who like to climb up and down and walk around the top floor. i was very worried my kids would fall from the second storey as there's a little bridge from the sleeping area that has two wooden rods for handle bars and nothing in between, definitely wide enough for children to fall through. I'll take two separate rooms the next time.

Excellent option vs expensive big properties”

We visited Pyeongchang Four Seasons House for a break from busy Seoul and loved our time there! The room was perfect for our family of 5, with a small kitchenette for light snacking between meals out. Breakfast was wonderful - porridge, sausages with veggies, eggs, toast and another side or two every day. Coffee and hot tea all day long too. The staff were very accommodating helping us with out for ski rental and resort passes. Definitely will return!

Funky and fun”

Our overnight stay here was nice. The manager picked us up at the shuttle bus drop off at Alpensia. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was freshly made and tasty. The place has an air of funkiness that adds charm, with references to switzerland all around.

Wonderful host”

Miss Jenny is extremely helpful, specially as it was our first visit to Korea. The chatteu is so lively, the stays have been so memorable to our family in Dec 2015. Wanted to come again but fully booked Dec 2016. Will book earlier next time.

The host family are very friendly. :) They guide us to ski resort, ski rental shops and other tourism spots in Pyeong Chang... that's indeed great help!!

Cozy and rustic but no air conditioning”

The staff communicated with us very well when the room we booked was unavailable. The included hot breakfast was delicious! We were also able to reserve a grill for dinner the night before for KRW20000. Be aware that the Interlachen room does not have air conditioning but it does have a refrigerator and two shower heads in the bathroom.

This is the first time I stayed B & B, before a little worried about Li! But after, there is no worry together! Because the environment is very comfortable, the boss is very careful and thoughtful! Really very grateful to them for a few days and treat Shuttle！We are a four people

BEAUTIFUL SNOW”

We are luckily to see beautiful snow during our first visit here, during this period of time. 1st reach here the weather is cold, after entering we see beautiful decoration plus very cosy warm feeling, when enter the hotel. The owner was very nice & friendly. I will recommend all my friends who wish to see snow and like cosy hotel to stay here.

We enjoyed very much staying in this pension for 3 nights. The host is so nice that he took us to different ski park every day and picked us back to pension on time. Our quad room was clean, comfortable and big enough for us. We stayed at pension for dinner, they did not have much food choices, but the fried rice was really good.

Cozy, Quaint, Friendly and Helpful Staff”

I was traveling alone and chose this hotel to stay close to the ski areas. It turned out that the hotel will drive you to either of the ski areas, Alpensia or YongPyong and pick you up. They shuttle people around 8:30-9, 5:00-5:30, and 9:00pm on request. The room was so cute and even had a fridge, cooking range, rice cooker, bowls, plates, etc.., as well as toiletries. The room was a little hot with the floor heating, but when I cracked open the balcony window, it was okay. The entire hotel is decorated like a Swiss Chalet. It is a 15 minute walk from the Alpensia town and ski slopes. Taxi's in the area cost around 10,000, but the hotel shuttle service was perfect. The breakfast was really good with eggs, toast, soup, scones, cereal, coleslaw and fresh fruit. There was also juice and coffee. The hotel will sell you lift tickets for both ski resorts at a discounted price for any of the ski times offered for the regular tickets. I didn't know this when I skied before checking in. They also have a dinner menu or several restaurants are 15 minutes walking in the Alpensia town. They didn't make up the room every day, but it wasn't a problem. They provided a large towel on request. They were really attentive to my needs and did their best to accommodate. The place is sort of a cozy guest house, with a fireplace, piano, cute sitting area, and trinkets neatly placed all around. The owner's wife went out of her way to buy my lift tickets and even help me carry my bags inside the ski resort to a locker when she saw I was alone and carrying many things. I recommend this place for solo travelers, families, couples, or anybody. It was a great experience. I would stay again.

Cozy Pension”

My kids loved the pension. The deco is very European and cozy. Toilet was a little too small tho. The host Genie was really helpful. Picked us from Alpensia and arrange transportation of our luggage to the Bus terminal while my family enjoy our last moment in YongPyong.

Best accommodation around Pyeongchang!”

No unhappy experience with this accommodation. Good points listed below: -The whole place is just very cozy! Did not regret choosing this place at all for our stay. Though it was very short, (just 1night), but we really enjoyed it! -The Pension Owner is a very nice person. Excellent hospitality, very warm and welcoming. He assisted us when we were quite lost of what to do when going to the ski resort. Also recommended good food for dinner which was just nearby the Pension. -The view from our room window is fabulous! Thank you for your hospitality Ahjussi, we'll come back to visit you again!

clean and nice room”

when i booked the hotel, it mentioned a special ski package. but actually it was not included in the package and i have to rent the ski gear myself from a rental shop. not too convenient though.

We are happy to back again and everything made us feel like at home. We hope to have a ski vacation every year and if we come back Gangwondo definitely choosing here to stay.
