rather a motel ”
The staff was very friendly but our beds were hard and the warm water did not work. It's right next to the highway, so expect some noise. It did not bother me much. If you need a cheap place for staying over night, then it is ok.
Fantastique”
Lovely place but best if travelling. Staff that were there were excellent, but the promise of French speakers wasnt true. The owner is French, but no one there spoke French, and the other guests there who were French couldnt speak to the Thai in English. Saying that, the bed was excellent, one of the best Ive slept in in Thailand. We were next to the road and no problems with the road noise. Could do with some better paths though
New, clean, good value and nice staff”
Restaurant still under construction. Rooms large, modern, well equipped. Good food and service. Mini bar in premium room had free drinks (beer, coke, coke zero, ice tea, ice coffee, soda, water - 2 of each). Staff very helpful and friendly.
Fantastique”
Small rural local hotel (more motel style), staff friendly, price is good. Beds are a little on firm side. (Thai style) Stayed here several times. ONE CAVEAT - if you are a lite sleeper, be forewarned road noise from trucks may keep you awayl
Excellent value”
Very clean. Big room. Big bathroom. Staff very friendly and excellent service. Lovely garden for eating breakfast. The highway was not as noisy as I thought it would be, and we had no trouble sleeping. They serve basic meals but we didn't eat there. It was only about 6km back along the road to town, where there is a large selection of restaurants, a night market for food etc, a few 7-11 shops, and a KFC. The free mini bar is gone, but the breakfast is now free. Fresh coffee, bacon and eggs, toast, yoghurt, cereal, fruit juice . The ONLY thing I would change is coffee in the room. There's a kettle and helpful staff will give you cups, but luckily I read a previous review mentioning no coffee, so we just took a little instant and coffee mate. We loved this hotel, convenient for Phanum Rung, lovely place. Excellent.
Peace in the country”
The staff go out of their way to help Nothing is a problem or them
Second time visit..”
As people say, location, location, location is what matter. And this little hotel is good location for us when we visit up country. But the location is very close to the four lane highway and is terrible for truck noise. So as we said before.. if you are a lite sleeper maybe not a good choice. (when hotel was built, highway was 2 lane not so close we learn this time) Otherwise, it is a great buy. Staff is very friendly, room is clean, and bed is not the usual rock hard you find most places. And they will cook you breakfast if requested. If you come alone with no Thai language speaker, you might have some problem communicate. The manager (who we have yet to meet) I guess speaks English, but staff does not. good place”
wifi not good at room where far away from office.
Light sleepers be warned”
PROS: Bed comfortable, WIFI decent, room large CONS: Road noise, no snacks or soft drinks (& no close by 7/11) This is a clean and comfortable hotel. (bed medium softness, pillows so so, room clean) BUT.. if you are a light sleeper, the road noise from trucks all night may be problematic for you. A previous poster mentioned some refreshments, for our two rooms that didn't happen. We did have a locally cooked very basic breakfast (extra charge), but nothing else. There also appeared to be some confusion about the rate structure... suggest you verify. For the area not a lot of choices. You are about 30-45 minutes from Racetrack or Buriram United. Except for KFC, we didn't find any foreigner friendly eatery in the area. Had to drive to Buriram.
Best Service, Place is very clean”
We brought 3 dogs (small size) stayed over night here. Room space is more than enough, garden is very nice. We like the staffs, they're very helpful. Most recommened !!
A Good Stop-over”
Easy to find, right on the route 24 by Phanung Ruang nation park. Good staff with Mr Pong. Plenty of complimentary drinks in your to choose from, free laundry service, nice rooms, good breakfast. Main road traffic noise not too much of a problem for us.
Very good ”
Perfect
location, cleanliness, friendly ”
1) Room is big and clean, they provide few type of beverage incl 2 bottle of beers everyday ,all are free of charge. This is the first time I received this kinda service, is really generous with the low room rate they charge, thank you very much! 2)The hotel( is more like B+B to me) located along the highway, due to no lamp poll at the roadside and the hotel lighting also not bright enough ,we was miss the place when passed by. Also prepare for noise from highway (especially big track passing by )during sleeping hour ! 3) The first night after we check-in,due to the long hours of driving, we are too tired to drive out getting food so we order Moo kata from the hotel kitchen,it was tasty with big portion for 2pax( B250 incl fresh fruits from their gardens) is really cheap! My room rate doesn't incl breakfast, but we paid B120/pax for it. The bf comes with two fried egg, three thin small slice(a finger size each) bacon, bread, cereal, coffee and papaya. But my breadfast the next day ( a bowl of chicken porridge, bread with jam / butter, papaya is free, I thanks to them. 4) The manager Pong is a very friendly and chatty guy,but the other fat lady caretaker she is over friendly and too takertive untill we have to avoid her :(( Anyway the hotel is still expending, according to them there are more facilities coming up!
