Great budget accommodation!”
Red Roof Inn Kamata was located around 5 minutes walking distance from Kamata Station, so it was the perfect place to stay while we explored Tokyo for a week. There are tons of restaurants, a few conbinis, and a couple of supermarkets nearby, so you'll have plenty of options for food. In addition, Red Roof Inn also provides a small selection of breads that serves as a light breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time, but we were allowed to check-in early. When I asked about nearby ramen restaurants, they already had a map printed out. And when I asked about how to operate the remote control for the airconditioner, the guy drew it out for me in English. The hotel is near a fire station, so we did hear sirens every once in a while, but that was just a minor inconvenience. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay at Red Roof Inn Kamata, and we would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Japan.

Amazing stay in Tokyo”
My boyfriend and I stayed at Red Roof Inn during our 8 days in Tokyo. The rooms are much nicer and bigger compared to those hotels that are more inner city. The staff are all wonderful and English friendly. The coin laundry inside the hotel was also a great help! The location is wonderful! It’s an easy 5min walk to Kamata station, where you can hop on a train and be in Shibuya in 30mins! There’s also a really nice shopping street right by Kamata Station, with restaurants, dollar stores, super markets, and more! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Small room but comfortable”
My experience in this hotel was so good. The staffs were so nice, the breakfast was okay, the room were clean and comfortable eventough it were small. Only one problem for my family, the location too far from Kamata Station. My Parents struggled a lot to reach it. But, overall everything's great

Only Superior Twin room was good,the other Standard/Superior Double rooms were too small and the toilet was made with too shit plastic material that gave the bedrooms and rooms on the same floor too much noise disturbances

Convenient Place to Stay!”
My friend and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn for our week-long trip in Tokyo and we really enjoyed our stay! The staff was really kind, there was complimentary coffee and tea, and overall the room was clean and provided everything we needed. It's about a 5-minute walk from Kamata Station, which was really convenient for us coming and going every day. We were able to get to places like Shibuya in 30 minutes and even reach another city Yokohama in 30-40 minutes as well which was great! The only negative we had to say was that in the hotel room, you can definitely hear other people through the walls and in the hallway. Besides that, we really recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Tokyo!

The hotel is nice, it’s situated about 30mins from Tokyo Station by train. Kamata station is 5 minutes walk, where there are restaurants and supermarkets. Overall good stay, good value for money!!

The location and the hotel itself had a bit of a sketchy vibes (felt not-so-safe as a woman) going on but for a short stay, the overall experience was okay for the price.
