Décevant ”

Décevant pour le prix : plage privée devant l’hôtel couverte de déchets qui ne semblent pas gêner le personnel. Douches et toilettes à l’extérieur de la chambre ( +++ moustiques ) avec une odeur permanente de canalisation ... La terrasse est très agréable et le restaurant bon. La vue est très belle

Un cauchemar, hôtel à fuir ! ”

Hôtel photogénique, une belle publicité sur l’application et sur le site. Chambre décevante. Tout est organisé pour les voyageurs étant en pool villa. Pour les autres c’est une autre histoire, les plus jolies tables du restaurant ne sont pas accessibles, et l’hôtel ne veut pas nettoyer les chambres sur jardin sous prétexte qu’ils ont suffisamment à faire avec les pool villas à nettoyer. Cela n’est pas croyable, nous avons négocié pendant 4h pour obtenir un simple nettoyage de 15minutes de la chambre. Résultat, une chambre en mauvais état, une salle de bain en extérieur peut agréable. Cerise sur le gâteau, une fuite s’est déclarée dans le chambre sur notre téléphone en train de charger. L’hôtel n’a rien voulu entendre. Non seulement aucune réparation n’a été faite mais surtout l’ignorance du manager face à cet incident était lunaire! Concernant le service de restauration, les jus de fruits ne sont pas frais (industriel). Quand on regarde les prix pratiqués des chambres cela n’est tout simplement pas acceptable. En résumé , cet hôtel n’est pas entretenu, le service est déplorable voir inadmissible, l’emplacement magique ne peut malheureusement pas sauver les apparences et masquer une incompétence omniprésente. Passez donc votre chemin vers un véritable hôtel digne de ce nom ou alors réservez une pool villa !

Looking for view, Here is the place!”

Amazing view but far from everywhere. Good for person who looking for quite place for relaxing. No speed boat noise, no car horn Jacuzzi view is superb Wi-fi is so so The romantic dinner set taste is average and price not worth it, you can order a la cart menu that one more nicer.

Beautiful location and view beside the beach”

I stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite and the room has an amazing view overlooking the sea at sunset beach. The jacuzzi was huge and the staff helped set it up. Waking up in the morning facing the clear ocean was such a beautiful view. The beach is private for guests therefore it is much quieter and cleaner. The resort provides free mask and lifejacket for snorkeling. Breakfast at the hotel was good as we can enjoy the unobstructed view of the ocean at their restaurant. The staff there were polite and helpful. They provide us with free transportation to our next destination in the island. However, the hotel were slow to reply to emails during booking where we requested for pickup from the jetty during our arrival. The hotel is quite far from walking street and other parts of the island. The hotel provides free transport to walking street but we had to take a taxi back. So unless you are looking for more activities and night life, this is great for a quiet stay to enjoy the sea and beach.

Non privacy pool villa.”

We stay for 3 nights in a busy mid April. Pros; great view, free kayak and snorkel gear, great sunset view,great breakfast. Yummy food. Cons; the villa need to be renovate asap. My toe was bleeding from a splinter in the living floor. All the wooden floor are in bad shape. All 4 villas has no pool privacy, 2of them is right on the walking path. The bathtub water is urine coloured and sewage smelly water sink. Far from walking st ,only offer free ride but no pick up service. The rocky beach only great for snorkeling. Bad wifi connection.

Lovely charming accommodation ”

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are beautiful, the beach is very nice, the view is a big wow and the services is great. In the jacuzzy balcony we barely had hot water but in the pool villa we had excellent water with good pressure and very hot. Just that this hotel is just bit expensive compare to what you can afford at the exact same price elsewhere, is the same price as for example kandima maldives,... ect but again is a very nice place ^^ definitely will stay again.

Everything is good except location”

Love the staff, love their hospitality, love the view. Everything is great just that we would have chosen to stay nearer to the main walking street as it is not within walking distance even though it is a small island. Perfect for those who appreciate quiet locations.

Superbe”

Staff was very kind. They always take care of us and help my girlfriend make a birthday surprise for me! Bed was very comfort. Sea view was great like the picture on website. But if you stay in jacuzzi room you should bring more your own bath float. Anyway I strongly recommend this resort for people who looking for private place to relax.

Great experiences”

This place is great, with good atmosphere, and great for snorkelling. (We saw a nemo!) Breakfast is very nice. We have dinner as well and it’s delicious, the cocktail is great. Everything will be perfect if here provide shuttle service during night.

Nice resort with private beach”

The resort is quiet and far away from the walking street, but you can always take a taxi to the walking street. The beach is nice, with corals and fishes. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Nice resort overall.

Perfect location as a private beach but need some improvement”

It's nice decoration, private location, and very friendly staff. I love the Jacuzzi facility and really enjoy the view. The food were nice. Anyway, the first day we checked in, the restroom light bulb was broken. They sent the technician to fix it and we were happy that finally we can rest and enjoy our vacation. At night, we felt that out room was too dark then we called the receptionist. She said that what the owner's preferred style so we didn't say anything. We found out on the last day we were checking out that there is daylight surround the bed but it's broken.

The room is new and clean. We booked a table for dinner and watched the sunset, it was really beautiful. The food was good. We enjoyed the breakfast and the view of the hotel! They also provide free kayaking and they pick us up for free when we arrived at lipe

Honeymoon hotel”

The hotel room very nice and new. Service good just they didn't provide room service. The view from the hotel room is excellent. Location far from walking street. No food stall or restaurant nearby. Every time must take taxi to go out from hotel. Taxi charge 50bath.

Nearly but not quite.”

Booked this hotel on Agoda based purely on the pictures of the jacuzzi rooms overlooking the ocean. The room not only lived up to the photos but exceeded all expectations. Sunset beach is without doubt the best location on the island. The hotel is only 7 months old and unfortunately there are some teething problems. Power was cut for about 4-5 hours on the first day of our stay rendering both aircon and water pressure in the room useless. There was a beautiful new big flat screen TV on the wall that was wasted as no TV service was available during the period of our stay. Yes I know you don't go on holiday to watch TV but it's quite isolated at that end of the island and it would have been useful. The advertised wifi was also out of service for our stay. Mobile coverage was poor at best and staying in touch with family was challenging. Those problems aside the biggest issue I saw was just the lack of attention to the surroundings. The hotel site suffered from an excess of plastic bags, bottles and assorted remnants from the building process scattered around the site. The beach itself suffered the same fate including an old oil pan off a car that was laying around. There were also bits of broken glass in the sand. Staff would rake the area every morning but it would take a mere 30 minutes to clean up the stuff laying around. This hotel markets itself at the top end but lacks the polish to see it compete at this level. OK enough of the bad. The view from the rooms is nothing short of exquisite. It is far and away the best view I have ever had anywhere in the world. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was top class but priced accordingly and yes I know everything has to be shipped in from the mainland. The hotel organised a snorkelling trip on a long boat that was excellent and well priced. With a bit of attention this hotel could be absolutely fantastic but at the moment a few small niggles hold it back from being all it can be.

Never again”

So expensive for a small room with ac not working properly (couldn't change temperature neither switch off) staff at hotel couldn't fix it and told me to change to another room which was worth condition...we stayed in the same room and both my kids got sick for the low temperature. I asked for baby cot but they didn't set for me until next day because the maid service was off at 17.00pm (no matress, no bed sheet), even if I booked in advance. Unsafe hotel to go with kids. Water deposits just behind our room, and the toilet is open, so we could listen the water pump all the time. Last night at 11.00pm staff was talking loudly behind our room , they stoped once we complained. At the entrance of the hotel there is the room with generator, noisy all day and we could listen too from our room. Staff doesn't care about customer. Never again, so expensive.

Travellers, you can do better than this hotel.”

Prior to checking in, we were staying in another hotel on the island which was far from The Cliff so before check-in time, we made a call to see if the room was ready. Usually if the room is avail, hotels let you check in early but we were not too concerned since we were still comfortably staying at the other hotel. We were told over the phone that the room will be ready in an hour and we could just make our way. So we checked out of the first hotel, had lunch, traveled 30 mins on a bumpy road and arrived at The Cliff 2 hours later. THE ROOM HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED WHATSOEVER. The question was why you would tell us that the room would be ready in an hour if it would not. Why would you tell us to come by in an hour??? We could have stayed at the other hotel and come to The Cliff at the actual check-in time. On top of all this, despite paying an above standard rate for a jacuzzi suite, the jacuzzi did not work. The water pressure was low and the water heater did not work.

I stayed in Jacuzzi 5 room from December 23 to December 25, 2018. The room location was great and provide a excellent view of the sea. The resort is situated in Sunset beach side so it is more calm and private compared to Sunrise or Pattaya beach. To access the main walking street, you can take hotel shuttle or hire a motorbike taxi or, if you prefer, you choose a short 15 minute walk. The service and staff here is top notch. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to our requests. The downside is the maintenance. Many parts of the room looked dated and some parts are not well maintained. The bathroom downstairs are old and could be better designed. I see that there are constructions in the resort area so it is possible that they are renovating the rooms.

Stayed at Grand Deluxe Room 4 nights 5 days. If you go with your family, must choose here! Quiet location and heart warming staffs. Bit far from main street but no wori, they have free transportation (one way). To return, you can spend only THB 100 for taxi. My daughter (5 yo) enjoyed fishing by optional activity and hotel staff cooked fishes for us with small extra payment, it is amazing! Highly appreciated that staffs took care of daughter! Please take note that no TV at Grand Deluxe Room, and you must bring anti-mosquito. There so many mosquitoes! Hope you can enjoy stay there!

Don’t stay here!”

I had the most horrible food poisoning after eating breakfast in this place. And it was only my first day in Koh Lipe. Beside that, I don’t think the hotel worth what you pay for. The pictures are far much better than the reallity. The location is terrible, far away from everyhing. The room is very small. The only good thing I have to say is the beach in front of the hotel, but is not worth the stay. Please choose another hotel in the island. Don’t stay here!
