Gorgeous with flaws”
The rooms are just outstanding and perfectly quiet, huge, sumptuous, really incredible. Likewise, all of the facilities are perfect. We loved the pool, the workout room, everything. Four stars because of some weird staff issues: 1. We asked for coffee in the room (counting) EIGHT times. We asked from the cleaning staff. We asked at the front desk. We called downstairs three times. We asked from the conceriege. There were two instant coffees and two small milks the first day (not enough, and we used them), and now it is the morning of our third day and we cannot seem to get any replacements. The room was cleaned but we got no new coffee, milk, sugar, or bottled water. We have asked and asked. It’s a really small thing that should be replenished every day and is even at one star hotels. 2. I thought I might use the salon. The stylist (not the man out front who was very nice) quoted me something that was nearly three times the cost on the menu, which is not posted but I got access to to cross check at the front desk. I let him know, and he backed down, but obviously some serious dishonesty there. This was almost three times the cost. 3. No turn down service either night. Not a big deal but this is a pretty fancy place. Mostly the coffee. I have asked twice already this morning again (after six different times yesterday!) and haven’t received anything and my head is splitting hahaha All of that complaining aside, it is stunningly beautiful and comfortable, just bring your own coffee and bottled water and milk like a camper and check your bill.
Great Hotel, Great Amenities and food”
I enjoyed my stay at The Lodhi., great location and the rooms are incredibly good. I am not sure if it was the room that I got that it was a higher tier more expensive suite but what I had was quite spacious with large living room and great shower and bath and toilet section. I enjoyed the service and the spa as well as the pool side food court. The breakfast was good enough, but I recommend to get it with the hotel room package and not separated as it may be more expensive and IMO doesn't justify the price. The hotel taxi is quite expensive and they somehow recommend it. I'd stay away from it as its quite high in price. Just use Uber. overall, I recommend this hotel.
Fell a little Short of Expectation of 5*”
Having stayed in Peninsula Hong Kong/Kowloon and Firmdale Hotels, the following disappointed: 1. In room phone did not work 2. Lighting of the suite was impossible to work out - eg main light off and dressing room or bathroom light on. Don’t think it was thought through properly. 3. Door leading to balcony terrace did not lock even though someone came to fix it, which was a security risk. 4. No catalogue of services/ amenities in the room or in-room menu details- basic expectation of a 5 star hotel. 5. In room stationary was not branded - little touch that again is basic for a 5 star and makes a statement. No pen in the room. 6. When our room was cleaned cups were taken away and not replaced and neither were the coffee bags. 7. Bottled water was not available in the gym - I had to ask for it. First 5 star hotel this has been the case. The Posiitves: 1. Great location a ten minute cab ride from main attractions 2. Beautiful design features 3. Great gym with outdoor pool. 4. Food was good, highly recommend some of the breakfast juices. 5. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were also allowed an early check in for one of the rooms.

Tremendously Warm Staff!”
We had the most amazing experience staying at the lodhi, the staff must get a special mention they made us feel at HOME! We felt like the whole Hotel was our home that’s how warm the staff was right from entering at the porch, to the reception, the restaurant, the spa everyone was just amazing and had their own unique character! Special mention to Muskaan at the desk Shailendra and Deepak at Elaan & much appreciations to others we are not namin as the list is long , thank you for a top experience. We will surely visit you again…Love!

Beautiful place, but...”
Beautiful hotel, good location (quiet and clean), rooms are spacious. Unfortunately the plunge pool is freezing cold, so we regret paying for that. Some downsides were the staff. They are very friendly, but very inefficient. Service was so slow, often had to ask several times (and we are the type of people who try to not bother the staff, but it was getting a bit ridiculous. Food is also way overpriced. We just had a pizza when we got in late at night and one was like cardboard. Breakfast a la carte is also a downside if you ask us and it's expensive.
