Valuable for money ”

Very comfortable clean and friendly staff.Adequate shower rooms and rest rooms.Highly recommended .A bit complain, it located in 2 nd floor and not easy to find the hostel .No any signs show the name of hotel.Be careful if you have big luggage as well.

It was the first day, we were check in at 1.30 pm earlier than we thought. Hana is the staff who was helping us in the first day in Japan. The room , kitchen and bathroom were so clean and comfortable. The second day my daughter spilled liquid on the mattress which will be difficult to clean but when we came back from the market the mattress and its cover already changed to the new one. We feel so relief and amazed with the service of the house. They are clean the room everyday very well. The street was quiet and there are many small shops, restaurants, and subway station nearby to the house. We feel like stay in our own house in our country .Thank you Lai's house.

The rooms, bath, and toilet were adequate and very clean. Fresh towels were supplied everyday. Wish the stove was working though so that we could do a little cooking. Otherwise, overall it's a place worth staying in when one is back in Tokyo. I know I and my family would.

Very basic but clean”

This is a very basic guesthouse. It's very clean. Location not to bad if you dont mind to catch monorails and trains to get to places. They have a common area to make tea and coffee but to our disappointment we had to bring / buy our own tea and coffee. There is a tv in your room but no english speaking movie or tv chanel .

Perfect for families with young children”

We stayed for 6 nights & 6 days. We were 17 (including 3 kids and 3 babies) guests that time. All staffs (especially, the manager, Ryan) are very accommodating and readily available whenever we need a hand. The location is perfect for children (very peaceful at night, too). Lots of 24/7 diners near the house.....the neighborhood is a good place to explore during your 'rest' time (there's a 100-yen shop where you could buy good souvenirs).

Very clean (credit is given to Cindy) Water pressure is excellent for showering. Make sure to print the location direction attached by Agoda. Is about 400m from the ItabashiKuyakusyo to the Lai's House At 7-eleven, start counting for about 60 steps before you turn right

Awesome ”

I was totally satisfied with the stay at Tokyo Lais House. The room is very clean and nice. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap and towel are provided. The location is OK, quite close to subway (but have to transfer line to go to the popular stations), convenience store and several restaurants. It is quite safe at night. The only thing I don't get it is I never saw the manager/receptionist in the house, even when I checked out (I just put the key on the table and left lol)

My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The room was comfy and clean but not too big. The host was great. He gave a lot of helps. We will stay there next time for sure.

Very hard to find”

FIRST TIME GOING PLEASE TAKE A TAXI i stupidly thought i was able to find it using google maps and it's completely wrong and even asking the police station near the train station was wrong so please please please take a taxi and save yourself the hassle. the place itself is nice and there's an air conditioner and a nice bathroom. There are 2 different places you may end up staying at and you won't know which one until you sign-in but the one we stayed at was a 10min walk from the main station and a 5min walk from the subway. It was a little tiring at the end of a day but it's still a pretty good location. I stayed with my parents and my sister and it was very small for the 4 of us since we all slept in the one room but overall, it was a good place ps. there is a stove but we weren't allowed to use it which was fine for us since we ate out but it's just something to note

Homy and clean”

We all love Lais House, we slept very well for 3 nights stay here. But the location was a bit confusing, we spent 1 hour and lots of walking trying to find this place as it was wrongly located in the Google map (the owner should check this out). This is more like a small apartment (not a hotel) in a nice neighbourhood, feels like home. It has all the necessity you need, and was very clean. The owner Ryan was very accommodative and helpful. Subway station is about 8 minutes walk with a good pedestrian, friendly for your luggage. They clean your house everyday, but strangely they didn't make up your bed (in this case the tatamis). They should provide tool for us to clean the tatamis ourselves. The towels were not replaced daily, but you can request them after 2 days.
