Clean, comfortable, easily accessible and friendly staffs”
We stayed for 4 days during the sakura season so the rate is below the average high rates during the period. The staffs were friendly and the property is clean and comfortable to stay. Rest rooms are available in all floors while shower rooms are only available to certains floors (need to use elevator to have a bath). Hotel is very accessible to various train/subway stations and restaurants. We definitely recommend this if you plan on staying Tokyo (near Ueno station).

The place is clean, hotel grade beddings, clean bathrooms, can cook meals, unlimited coffee, and friendly staff. location is also good, lots of convenient stores near the vicinity.

Great value for money”
The staff did worth 10 stars. The bed was comfortable and facilities were clean. Though the room is a bit small and sometimes the noise of other guests was annoying, it's still highly recommended.

Excellent Hostel”
Twas my first time to booked a hostel. At first I thought it was a hotel as it was named Hotel Uno. We're about to cancel at last minute before our travel but decided not to as twas hanami and 90% of properties were booked. Twas a very easy check-in and no hassle. The room is above my expectation. We booked a Quad room with 2 bunk beds. Size of the room is enough for four people. It might be different though if I was with other people as it seems a bit cramped. Enough to put in A large size luggage. Facilities are good but we spent most of our time eating out. Near a convenience store to get what you need. Near Oedo, Yamanote, Hibiya, Keisei and Ginza line to get you to other places in tokyo. Fast check out with no hassle. Good and very accomodating staffs. Will book again when I decided to come back. どうもありがとうございました

Superbe”
Great hostel! Lovely beds with very good curtains, great atmosphere, nice common room with kitchen and free coffee/tea, next to a convenience store, lovely staff. Location is very nice as well, close to the Yamanote line of course and great cheap food places nearby in Ameyoko.

The room is so clean, comfortable. Eventough it's quite small but it could equip 4 persons. Gonna stay in here if I go to tokyo again

Nice budget hotel”
A little bit far from the train station about 15 mins walk, but it's worth. They serve free bread and coffee in the morning! Their is a common pantry where you can have hot water, re-heat your food and a fridge that you can. Room space is a bit small, no storage for luggage and it will be a challenge if you have big luggage, but bunk bed is big enough and comfortable. Overall it's okay!

Location is good, quite neighborhood. Nice common area on ground floor. Quite annoying at the Saturday n Sunday night with a group of eight ppl check in, they make a lot of noise in the room, n put all the suitcase around the room

I stayed for 8 nights in a 4-bed male only dormitory (bottom bunk) at the 4th floor of the hotel. Date of stay: November 2019. PROS 1. Near Ameyoko and Ueno Station 2. Relatively new and clean facilities. Comfortable bed as well. 3. Staff can speak english fairly well 4. The common area is complete with microwave, oven toaster, fridge, etc. 5. Shower room is complete with shampoo, liquid body soap, and conditioner. 6. Wifi is consistently fast CONS 1. Temperature of shower is inconsistent. It sometimes suddenly get cold. There was one time when I had to wait for 5 minutes until the water get warm again. 2. We cannot adjust the temperature of the room. There was one time when I had to slightly open the windows to let the cold air in. 3. No luggage lockers. We had to leave our luggages at the front desk everytime we go out (unless you trust your roommates). Front desk is closed from 1am to 6am. 4. Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear some noise/conversation from the other rooms.

Very clean little hotel in Tokyo. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shared bathroom and restrooms but they were super clean. Location is okay, a bit of a walk to the closet station but not a dealbreaker. Would come back next time. Recommended!!!

Nice, budget friendly hostel”
I had a nice stay in Uno ueno. The facilities are nice, the shared bathroom is OK. The staff are friendly. Though, the location is a bit far from the train station so it might be a problem for those carrying lots of luggages. Upon checkout, I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel so that i can still explore the city while waiting for my flight in the evening.

Cozy place ”
3 nights here with young kids, the room was extremely small, once open the door and you reach your bunk bed. Totally no place for luggage. The heater are centralised, can’t adjust the temperature, when u sleep on upper bunk bed, it is too warm and hot until can’t sleep for 2 nights, although open the windows, but still very very warm. Told the receptionist but they said that is centralist and can’t adjust. At the end, the receptionist agreed to off the heater, only the last night I can sleep.
