I recently stayed at the Valdior on business from the UK, and everything at was perfect, location, rooms and all of the staff and owners. They couldn’t have done anymore for me, and made my trip very easy. I would definitely stay there again on business or pleasure.

The Guest House is bad News ”

First when we arrived the staff were very much unwelcoming secondly they write wrong Wi-Fi code and was to prepare for my meeting the following Thirdly the Room I book was Different from the picture I saw on Agoda website Breakfast was terrible I had really bad experience with that Guest House it not value for money

This establishment is advertised as a 5 Star Hotel, it is sadly no more than a 3 Star Guest House. When I booked thru Agoda, I paid the full amount. However on checking out they were not aware that payment had been made.

I loved my stay... it was a work trip - so too short - but i will definitely be back again soon! Also gonna book a holiday on March and stay there again. Great breakfast included - and very comfortable rooms!

Perfect for short stay near Durban.”

We stayed there during our tour of Kwa Zulu Natal. We wanted somewhere safe near , but not in, Durban. We spotted this hotel on Agoda and it seemed to fit, so we booked it. The manageress and her helper were very pleasant and helpful with suggestions of what to do in Durban as it was our first visit. We were even given help booking our next place of stay in St Lucia which we appreciated very much.

Overnight stay”

Unfortunately, my stay was very, very short. I arrived at approximately 16h30 in the afternoon and had to leave again at 18h00 for a wine tasting function. The next morning I had to leave at 6h00 to catch my plane back to the Cape, so I unfortunately missed breakfast as this is served from 7h00 on, much to my disappointment.

Outstanding!”

The Valdior is simply outstanding. The area is very quiet and safe, our suite was very luxurious, beautiful design (black and white theme) and beautiful bathroom with a huge shower. It really feels like you are staying at a wealthy friend's house who gave you his keys for the weekend while he went away. Everything is just so beautiful: the pool, the sea view, the bar, the living room. Amazing! The breakfast was excellent (but only until 9 am, which is always a problem for us because we like to sleep in :-) A monkey jumped by on the terrace while we were having breakfast. All in all, a very nice experience.

Beautiful Guest House”

i love this place...it has a few rooms so that means you have all the attention. i did not like the room i was in because the bathroom wasnt as pretty as. had imagined. that was no hassle for sandra. it's my second time here and i have recommended it. it's refreshing to see that sandra is still there. i first stayed there in 2010. it's disappointing to see that breakfast menu is still the same and there is sill no chef....the decor is still the same. but none the less its a beautiful guest house. i would go there again.

Very fancy with good service”

I had a very short stay at the Guest House as I flew in late and left early. But the staff were accommodating and made sure I was comfortable. I don't think I for the room I booked through Agoda which was disappointing but at least it was clean and comfortable. Very luxuriously decorated.

Lovely intimate hotel”

We were not expecting such a small place, its actually more of a bed and breakfast home, not a hotel at all, but we were pleasantly surprised by the place. Nevertheless the place was awesome, the breakfast delicious and the position good. Would definitely go back again.

Einfach traumhaft”

Wir waren im Zimmer Nr.3 mit großem Wohn/-Schafzimmer, Küche mit allem was man braucht, wunderschönem Bad mit Kerzen und riesiger Terrasse mit tollem Blick und 2 Liegen. Es war nachts ruhig, gut zum Schlafen. Strasse vorne ist mäßig stark befahren. Morgens bellen die Hunde vom NAchbarn, ist aber ok. Tolle Lage am Hang, ca.15min Fußweg zum Strand mit Promenade zum Joggen o.ä. Nettes Personal. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert und sehr schick.
