It was good place to stay in if you're in a budget”
My cousins and I went to Singapore for a first-time international traveler and we were able to book this hotel as a very good price considering we were there for 4 nights and 4 days. The place is in Geylang and its walking distance to small restaurants that we usually ate at, its also near the bus stop where we usually go to for tours. The neighborhood is clean and quiet and large path walks for you to walk around. The hotel is smaller than we expected but its clean and the wifi is strong. Our room is smaller in person than in the photo but it did the purpose, which is sleeping and resting. Our room is clean, good airconditioning and our bathroom nice too (although the sliding door doesn't work so we always use towels on the floor to keep it from getting too wet). Water is strong and clean. Overall, if you are in a budget this is a good hotel and easily accessible for traveling in Singapore.

the place was good . rooms were spacious, clean and room cleaning is everyday. they provide free bottled water,coffe and tea and has electic kettle in room. 1min walking to bus stations and its also near mrt stations. have lots of chinese restos and convenience stores near the hotel. and its safe at night time. the best part of the hotel is the fresh orange juice vendo machine outside and ice cream vendo. overall stay there was excellent. ill book again nxt time if i visit singapore..

AMAZING! I really had a hard time finding an accomodation for my family trip. All the affordable options are filled with 1 or 2-star reviews. I was a bit nervous when I booked ibis busget Emerald. But the experience was sooo good. Check in was super quick, the cleaning lady was so helpful. The room had everything we need, looked new and clean. The water in the bathroom was very strong which was relaxing and refreshing. Room temp worked fine. Highly recommended!!!

Location is good (Busses along main road to nearby MRT and Direct busses to various part of Singapore) Lots of good and tasty food around the area. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous. Room is decent size (We booked a 2 twin single bed room) Linens are clean and aircond is comfortable. Showergel and clean towels provided and toothbrush and toothpaste provided. (There is coffee and tea and hairdryer in the room) We had a comfortable stay at Ibis and will definitely come again

Pros: near to the national stadium (600m walk), 711 shop 2min walk, ample of food court till.late, 5 min walk to bus stop, 10 min walk to Kallang MRT, Rooms were very clean & tidy, with coffee & tea facilities, & toiletries were provided. Staff were very polite, Got free upgrade to family room. Free parking at the hotel. Cons: NO alcohol beverages sold after 11pm near hotel area!!

I must say, it’s one of the budget friendly hotels in Singapore. But it doesn’t compromise quality. The room is just right to comfortably cater 3 people. We book 2 rooms for a family of 6. They clean the room everyday and we get complimentary bottled water daily. Aside from the facilities, the location is strategic. There are a lot of good restos nearby. We’ll definitely come back!

It was my first time went to Singapore. But the hotel already gave me a good feeling about my trip. My room got upgraded from superior to deluxe because the hotel were fully booked. The receptionist are friendly. Room are neat and tidy unlike other 2 star hotel i went before. There's 1 time i got back to the hotel about midnight but the hotel receptionist was there on standby. The hotel location is quite strategic. Bot bus and mrt station are just nearby. Definitely will repeat my stay here when i come to Singapore again. Thank you Fragrance Hotel!

The Hotel was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. They clean the room everyday, the AC is good as well as the toilet. However they don't have bidet, hope they can add one in the future. They gave us a free upgrade from Superior to De luxe but the downside was it was just a 2 single bed room and we are a married couple, so we don't have a choice but to fit in ourselves in a single bed :( However, the location is good. You can walk for 15mins from Kallang Station to the Hotel according to others but us, we preferred to ride a bus instead since we are too tired from walking around. Once you exit Kallang Station, walk on your right then you'll see the bus stop. You can take Bus 7 or 197 going to the hotel. From the hotel, walk for about 2mins going to 711 where you can find the bus stop. Take Bus 21 or 26 going to Kallang station. I'm glad that we have chosen this hotel since it is near everything.

I accidently confirmed booking this hotel and would have changed accomodations after reading the reviews. However upon arrival I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel felt fairly new, the shower and bed were all good, service was friendly, it wasn't as small as expected.. and I enjoyed the neighborhood. They also have this freshly squeezed vending machine which I drank all the time. It was definitely worth the stay and I say this place is way better than what people wrote about it.

This hotel is a great place to use as a base whist seeing all of Singapore very easy to walk to nearest MRT station kallang and from there all of Singapore is accessible. I cannot fault the friendlieness and professionalism of the staff,all off them exceptional Thank you ! good choice of local food availability and easy to walk to. The rooms are compact but short of nothing you could want. To summervize I would certainly re visit this hotel .

A very good hotel considering its a budget range. Facilities are all complete. Rooms are clean, mattress and pillow are comfortable. Hot water is working fine. If you are going for a concert, this is the hotel that you should stay.

A great stay”
From the time we arrived to the time we left (5 nights in total), no issues at all. The welcome was warm and friendly, the facilities were clean and temperature cool and comfortable. The cleaning staff were extremely wonderful and friendly and providing us some simple gestures of extra water bottles which was much appreciated for us thirsty foreigners! The only improvement would be better information as to where to do laundry. Was told turn left and at main street, turn right, and it's a 10 min walk. But the walk was more like 20 mins for foreigners who are not used to the heat and humidity. Only on our last day did we see a laundromat right across the road. So exit IBIS, turn left to main street, and it's literally across the road.

Overall the room was spacious, clean, well maintained. The front was very accommodating on our early check-in request (with provisions). This hotel is situated where the best foods are located. All in all- perfect!

Worth your money, the location is very good because its near the bus stops, subway train and mrt. ”
The food near the hotel were also cheap, what I love the most is the vendo machine of fresh orange juice worth SG $2. I wish there’s a vendo machine like that here in the Phils. The money changer also along geylang has a good exchange rate.

The hotel is very accessible and there are a lot of restaurants nearby that offers very delicious food with a very cheap price. We arrived in SG around 9am last wednesday. We were told that the checkin time in the hotel is 2pm however, they accommodated us at 10am without any charge. The staff are very kind.
