Not quite what we were expecting”
Very exclusive boutique hotel, only 5 rooms and aiming for a high end product. Our room was lovely with fantastic view, the staff were very helpful and obliging. b But we often didn't have hot water, the pool was just a dipping pool in constant shade with many biting insects. Breakfasts were rather inflexible and often mis served. Overall not sure it was worth the high end price tag.

Exceptional Staff, Stunning Views, One of a Kind Hotel”
I rarely leave reviews for a hotel and after staying at Frangipani, I felt compelled to because how amazing the stay was. There are many things that stand out in this property including the room design, the views, the restaurant and cleanliness but by far the best part was the staff and service. The staff is exceptional. Angie at the front desk was communicative from before my trip started until it ended. She organized our complimentary airport transport both ways and ensured we had activities planned throughout our short stay. The staff in the restaurant was extremely attentive, always had a smile on their face and always rushed to open any doors for guests. The staff is trained extremely well and it really elevates this property to the next level. There are only 7 rooms which makes you feel very taken care of. The restaurant and bar has an amazing view of the beach. The rooms have great air conditioning and clean bathrooms. Spacious bedrooms and spacious bathrooms as well as the shower. In-room massages were excellent and well worth the prices. Breakfast was one of my favorites and is complimentary. The location in my opinion is perfect - a short tricycle ride away from the city and nearby beaches, 20 min from the airport, far enough from the city to feel private and quiet at night, but close enough to visit the louder areas. This property deserves more recognition and I imagine they will be getting a lot more attention as travel continues to increase post-pandemic. I cannot recommend this property enough to guests from any country staying in El Nido. This is truly a one of a kind boutique hotel.

The best hotel service I have ever received. All the staff were very nice and serviceminded. Both your breakfast, hotel room and bar view will be fantastic since there is an beach/ocean-view. The breakfast was delicious and I had the best American pancakes I have ever eaten. You will never regret choose this hotel. I will definetly come here again! Thank you Frangipani!

Personalized and cozy boutique hideaway”
Frangipani is not your everyday hotel. It is small, cozy, clean, and the rooms look gorgeous. For only having 7 rooms, 1 being the panoramic room, there is plenty of friendly staff always ready to help out. My girlfriend quickly made friends with Jasmin from the reception area and they were all helpful and supportive when she got hit by food poisoning. The sunset view from the bar alone should be a reason to visit this place. Some small remarks: cut or trim some of the trees to open up the beautiful view, one of the bathrobes had a stain left on it, and the adobe with coconut milk is so delicious but really doesn't need chili in it! We will surely consider staying here again in the future!

The aesthetics, the vibe, friendliness and cleanliness during our stay was nothing but perfect. Highly recommend, we went as a couple and it was very accommodating. The place location is amazing, facing the seaside and hearing the sea waves while on bed in the morning is so relaxing. The staff were attentive, helpful and the breakfast was good. I would definitely come back for my next vacation and stayed in this hotel. The bed is big and the veranda is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with disappointing attitude.”
To be honest, on the beginning we really liked the place that seemed to be a high quality hotel but after an experience in their restaurant we very quickly changed our minds. We ordered a grilled squid that was supposed to be fresh according to the menu. When they brought it, it was very very stinky…. We asked if the squid is from today and they told us it was frozen… we kindly said that it doesn’t seem to be ok and send it back… we didn’t get a new one and they kept it on our bill... We mentioned again that the squid was really not eatable and that it’s not ok to charge it but they just keep smiling and saying that they are sorry… like it would not be enough, we found a hair in the dessert…. we mentioned this situation on the reception and we’re told that we can talk to the manager tomorrow but the other day we went diving and the manager was not there before nor after…. In the end the really had to pay for it… we really don’t think it is ok to threat clients like this, especially considering the prices of the rooms… we were very happy that we didn’t decided to stay any longer!

Me and my boyfriend stayed in seaview suite after Christmas 2021. The room is very spacious with air purifier. It is few steps to the beach. They offer free Kayaks. We stayed in a non-smoking room but smoking is still allowed in the balcony. The staffs are friendly and accomodating. They have decent food menu. The food is not the best, but not bad at all either. We recommend their ginataang crispy adobo. They don’t have gym, and the bathroom doesn’t have tub. They don’t have good phone and wifi signal. They have few electric outlets in the room. So if you’re bringing bunch of electric devices, just alternately charge them.

Les chambres sont magnifiques, le cadre est exceptionnel mais on regrettera la literie très moyenne, les draps troués. On entend aussi énormément la rue. L’isolation est à revoir. C’est dommage pour un hôtel d’un si haut standing !
