A good place, some people where snorting like CRAZY but well that's not the hotel's fault ! :P
Shouldn't have to pay extra for bed sheets.”
The hostel is fine but I don't agree with having to pay more money for bed sheets it's a con. You obviously have to sleep in the bed so it should be included in the price you pay.
Terrible service, but affordable”
This guys take money for everything: 6 euros for police/tax something, additional 20 euros that are not returnable, a padlock is 3 euros, and... RENT OF THE TOWEL is 2 EUROS a day! Tiny rooms... Also, they do not have a drying fan. Terrible, especially after A&O hostel, that looks as a paradise to me, comparing to this one. However, a wife of the owner, is very nice lady that helped me a lot with suggestions and recommendations on transport and locations. This nice woman kind of compensated overall poor experience.
Near to city center but it stains ”
- location: nearly to main train station,!just 10 mins tram - facilities: theres no plug for phone charging and no shelf - price: price is okay but u need 3 EUR to buy the sheets, and its never mentioned; theres no locker only if u pay 2EUR for that, luggage storage needs money as well. - cleanliness: the bed and pillow itself is full of moulds and stain (its quite gross), so u need bed sheet to cover it up. Cant sleep well as theres bugs. - conclusion: if u are solo traveller whos desperately need a cheap place to stay, it can be a choice; if u can find a better one with similar price (room price + 3 eur), for sure find another one.
They dint allow me to check in my flight got delayed and I reached at midnight at hostel. Nor they allowed me to check in or refunded my money. I am loss of money, time and other problems extra.
frankfurt central hostel is really a bad hostel”
its just a fours from the building with small room, its like a hell, reception aren't polite, its a family society who selling the money of people without any respect of their commitment. i think the best description is to said that you have to spend your money without any service or advantage.
Excelent location in front of tram station, good connections to Fair and airport”
Basic accomodation but very clean and quiet, near of restaurants and supermarkets.
A lot of rules that you should obey”
The rules are: - Check in start at 3pm only - You are not allowed stay in lobby before check in and after check out - No Internet access before check in and after check out - The Internet access given after check in , only for 1 devices , active until 8.45 am in the next day, Extra 1 Devices you have to pay 5 Euro per 1 password. - No Food and Drink inside the room - Alcohol purchased outside is not allowed to bring inside the hostel area, drunk people are not permitted to come inside the hostel. The hostel sell the alcohol drink. - You are not allowed to wash your cloth in bath room if you disobey this rules you have to pay 20euro but the hostel can wash your cloth with only 10 Euro - Bedsheet and blanketsheet and pillowsheet is availbale in the lobby , you have to pay 3 Euro for rent that facilities. - 3Euro city tax you need to pay per day. (I try other hostel that the other not charge like this hostel) - You only allowed to wash your body maximum 15 minutes
Too Much Rules and the Guy owner not friendly”
the rules is - you cannot use the lobby before check in and after check out - no alcohol purchased outside - if you wash your cloth in bathroom you have to pay 20Euro but the hostel can wash your cloth with 10Euro - Internet just for 1 devices and operated until 8.45 am in the next day - no wifi before check in and after check out - check in time. is 3pm - eating and drinking inside room is prohibited -)1
No good go another hostel is better.”
Their price not cheap location no good and many equiment not enough. if you need anything that need to pay money. Even after keep backage also need to pay money. The boss and wife very like money, everything is money. Hoping everbody don't go there is better that you will be angery.
Not a bad choice ”
Greeted by really nice reception staff. Friendly and polite. It's location is about a 30-minute walk away from central train station. So if you don't mind the distance, it's actually a pretty good deal. The tram station is right in front of the hostel. So moving about is not a great problem.
All about the money”
Price should be listed as an extra €3 since they charge for linen in an obligatory way. Every service is charged (for high prices, much more than covering costs), like €10 for washing clothes, cant recall the price for lockers(no free option for luggage), €5 a small beer... Lots of pieces of paper posted everywhere telling all kind of crazy fines and their exorbitant values... You get the feeling they are trying to rip the guests off all the time, it's all and only about money, the owner makes not funny at all jokes about it like "you got your room so cheap now they cost 3x more we should auction your bed ha-ha-ha". Maybe it would be better to go anywhere else more friendly and welcoming where it's not just about the money.
i stayed many hostel. if i choose the worst hostel, this is here. i never ever want to stay again.
Not very nice service ”
A lot of rules like: to not charge your device more then 4 hours, to not have a shower more then 15 min, to not eat in the room, to not wash and dry clothes. I stayed in room for 4 people but there were only 3 power sockets.
perfect value for money”
hotel with a perfect value for money. polite and helpful staff. hotel was clean, safe, and very comfortable.
Don't the fool by the price on website, Need to pay extra for everything”
Probably the worst hostel ever stay... The facilities was all right, but know that, 1.You are forced to pay 3 eu Extra for bed sheet 2.pay extra for using kitchen 3.Can only choose to use Wi-Fi on phone or internet, pick one from that 4. Guest are not allow to stay in common area after checking out. 5. there are lockers, but of course you need to pay, you can't even open and put things inside. Bed is just basic, no plug and light for every bed. Basically you only got the bed after you paid, others all extra. There are plenty of rules in hostel. It's fine, but make the atmosphere cold and there's no spirit of hospitality. Pay for everything just make guests not happy and use everything without respect. Because we PAID. That's not a good way to bind relationship between people. Oh, I forgot, I am not a guest, just someone who would pay.
Pros: Affordable, clean and safe. Cons: Greedy guy, you have to pay for everything. To use the kitchen 2Eu per day, breakfast 7Eu. If you check out you have to go -> No mercy. Luggage storage 10Eu per day. You have to add 3Eu for the linen (Which is not detailed in Agoda)
The most unhelpful and greedy owner ever and I have travelled to 35 European Countries staying over 500 days in various hostels and budget accommodation! Location was far from Frankfurt Central, facilities were bare minimum, just good enough for a night sleep and everything is chargeable. 2 Euros to use the kitchen, 5 Euros for a towel and the list goes on. I had made a mistake of checking out before the due time. When asked if I could have a Wi-Fi password (I arrived late the night before, Wi-Fi worked about few hours) for 5 minutes to do online flight check in, the answer was no as I have checked out. "Once you have checked out, you should go" and was being turned away without being offered any help.
My stay was average
