local spot in authentic Vietnamese atmosphere and house”
The best for us was a location even though for many that would be exactly opposite. we wanted to be in the middle of Vietnamese people and famous temples and tombs. rooms with high ceilings, good size, balcony to use (though by very high noised street) Mai gives coffee everyday, egg coffee or ice coffee and sometimes some fruits or corn. She made us two dinners for free also. we got a big 19L water to our room for 20k and kettle to boil hot one if we would want it. the only negative thing is that if one comes directly from Europe (like we did) it took few days to adjust to the high noise street. but in Vietnamese rules all gets quiet 22-6 o'clock so no complaints during sleep time. Bed comfy also , hard Asian mattresses. totally would recommend for a authentic local stay. Vegan restaurants close by and plenty of local meat eater stands also. the tourist town was like another planet when we went there few times. if one would like to see real Vietnam, stay here with Mai. :)

Our room in this rather grand family home was very comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. She made us a delicious egg coffee, and other drinks and dishes are available for very reasonable price.

This is my first time in Hue on my own. The homestay is my plan B. For 2 days staying, I think it's good for family and friends traveling in groups. The lady cares for your health pretty much. The location is a bit far away from center; however, motorbike makes things work Recommend it for family and friends.

A Homestay”
An older style family house.The owner is solicitous and around if you have any quesrions (uses her computer translator). We stayed 3 nights, Our hostess unexpectedly gave us a delicious free meal and served the famous egg coffee on two mornings. Two shared bathrooms, one with a bath. Also, a spacious balcony with plants to have coffee in the morning. On a busy thoroughfare in a local area. Fairly near to the train station. Half hour walk to the Imperial Site. There are bikes, but a risky business given that they have been jettisoned for the motorbike and scooter! A small room but adequate given the price - and the extra personal touches.

Excellent host, room as described”
Wonderful host who not only offered coffee in the morning, but a free sample of a local dish. Not great with English, but her genuine intent was there. Bathroom has a bath which was a luxury, and room had very good air con, and a larger than normal bed for the price. Local food cart outside her door served great (and very spicy food) for 20k. Host was great with calling us a cab when all the grab drivers were busy. Thank you for our stay

Grande chambre avec frigo, clim et ventilateur, propre. Salle de bain avec eau chaude et beaucoup de pression. La propriétaire fait tout pour que l'on passe un agréable séjour chez elle, elle nous a même offert la laundry et un dîner préparé par ses soins ! Prêt de vélos gratuit et café ou thé pour le petit déjeuner. Très bien situé. Rien a redire, je conseille vraiment !
