A bit of a walk from town. Shower was not good at all in the 4 bedroom I stayed in and the bed wasn't super comfortable. Staff were super friendly, however, and it is pretty cheap. Good enough for a night or two.

Most affordable stay around Inke lake. Good place to stay for couple of nights! A bit outside (7-8min walk) from the main village streets.

Basic rooms for a good price. Manager was easy to negotiate prices with when we wanted to stay longer. Rooms have a mini fridge which was nice. Beds were comfy and shower worked nice. It was nice and quiet too. Overall a good place for the price and the people were awesome to deal with!

Cockroach hotel!”

It was old and musty smelling. It was Also as far out of town as possible but still be in town. There were 4/5 cockroaches in one night. The reception guy tried to pass it off that because of power cut they come in grouch the walls the electricity normally keeps them on the walls! He was very good about spraying and removing them from the room though. Only good thing was there was hot water which was needed after three day trek. Only stayed the one night and checked out as soon as I could get a different hostel as 4am was not appropriate.

It's the cheapest place that we could find during our stay. It's quite a walk to get there. Wifi was poorly working. Breakfast was ok.

Nice Backpacker-Hotel”

+ Really nice staff, + great breakfast, + big room and bathroom, + not in city center and hence quite -Fridge in Room - bathroom is a little bit wet, Wifi works not everytime (sometimes you habe to ASK for activation)

Youths running the Inn making it very lively. despite it being dirty and old. The youths will try to make the stay pleasant

Budget place”

Okay hot water is working but you need to find the switch if is off, Room are okay but the floor is dirty the first day I step in, Staff are friendly , breakfast is okay , But WiFi is not working at all !!! Overall you can take this if you are in budget. Well they have a rooftop dining place which I have stay there for like whole day doing nothif and just enjoying the view

Much better places to stay in Nyaung Shwe”

Friday Inn is okay as a budget option for exploring the Inle area. The staff are friendly and do everything they can to help. The breakfast is really good: pancakes, fruit, tea, coffee. It's a short walk out of the town itself which makes it quiet at night. However, there was virtually no wifi the whole time I was there. The floors in the room were quite dirty and the bathroom smelt awful. No hot water. The whole place needs a good refurb but if you're on a tight budget, it's worth a night or two.

Good cheap guesthouse”

We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 1 night more. Very kind and nice staff, big rooms, hot water, nice breakfast. Be ready that electricity often off in this village. One day there wasn't elecricity whole day everywhere in this area. And wi-fi is very weak. But I like this place. Good view from rooftop, not far from market, comfortable beds!

Pleasantly surprised”

We saw this place had really bad reviews so were a bit worried before arriving but it was perfectly good considering it's the cheapest place we could find! Staff are very friendly, good breakfast on the nice rooftop and big airy room with large hot water bathroom. Bit out of the main town but other than that would reccommend!

We do not recommend it”

One of the dirtiest places we have slept. When we arrived, the room was not clean: trash from the previous guests and non-cleaned bed clothes. We asked them to change it and its response was to remove trash and leave the door opened. The recepcionist gave us the wrong information about the 5-day market, and that lead us to miss the floating market (the first thing we asked, as it was what we wanted to see most). The breakfast is served in a "slum-kitchen" with really poor hygienic conditions. The building was full of rats' excrements. We really do not reccomend it to anyone.

El hotel es muy básico, pero el staff es tan amable, que solucionan cualquier problema o solicitud especial que tengas. Qued algo lejos del centro pero caminable.
