The Toei is everything I need. The room is, admittedly, small like most business hotels here in Japan, but it's more than big enough for my needs. Everything is not only clean in the sense of just physical cleanliness, but it looks and feels new, fresh, and that's so important to me. I have stayed in far too many dreary, grungy, dingy, business hotels that look like they haven't seen a "renewal" in decades. The Toei is sparkly nice and clean, and the shower feels the same - not just the basics (strong water pressure, good water temperature, etc), but it just feels good, high-quality. Nothing about the Toei feels cheap. And the lobby, too, has a wonderful atmosphere, like a sleek new cafe. Light, airy, clean, in fresh woods and white. Like the kind of atmosphere I love in cafes I sit and read/work/study/write in. The location is great too. Only about 20 min walk from most major things in central Fukuoka, in whatever direction (Tenjin, Hakata-za, Sumiyoshi Shrine, Hakata Station, etc).

There is a nice lobby A location is easy to fine, there is bus stop in front of Hotel But if you wanna take the bus to Hakata station, have to cross the road to the opposite bus stop

Bus stop right infront of the property. Subway access is just a few minutes walk Breakfast is superb and free ammenities at the lobby is great Could have been better if drinking water is provided in the room everyday.

I really enjoyed my stay and regret staying 2 nights only. I had split my time in Fukuoka between two hotels the other was the wbf. I recommend. Breakfast is very good and rooms are adequate. Looking forward to stay again when international travel resumes.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It’s a very good one. It’s easy to get to from Hakata Station as well. You only have to take a bus for a few stations and then your pretty much directly in front of the hotel.

Hotel is located near Ryojin train station which has train and subway to all parts of Fukuoka. Hakata station is just about 5 stops or 10mins bus ride.

The hotel is less than 10 min walk from Yakuin Station. It was clean and they provided night wear, free toothbrush & paste, comb, body sponge, cotton wool, cotton bud, razor, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand & face soap. There is an electric pot n 2 Japanese tea bags but only one cup. There is also a hair dryer, television and air cleaner. What surprise me is that they have automatic ATM machines for check-in & check-out.

Nice budget hotel”
Pleasant hotel with a cozy feel, located somewhat south of downtown. Rooms have been recently refurbished, although those in the annex still lack some features such as the ability to directly control the temperature. Friendly staff, breakfast is a excellent!
