We went to Ishigaki Island for our honeymoon for the first time. I was really looking forward to staying at a hotel recommended by friends and family. The property was very spacious, and they provided shuttle service from the parking lot. If you booked a ride using a QR code, a cart would come to pick you up from your room. When we informed them in advance that we were on our honeymoon, they offered us a complimentary drink, which made us very happy. We appreciated their thoughtfulness. We booked a Western-style buffet for dinner, and the food was incredibly delicious—it impressed us! For breakfast, we could choose between Western and Japanese cuisine, so we opted for Japanese. The Japanese buffet was also delicious, and we ended up eating a lot in the morning. The staff were very kind, and it was a lovely hotel. However, there was one disappointing thing: although the room was very clean, there was a cotton swab left in the changing room from the previous guest. Other than that, everything was truly great!

I was taken care of from May 20th to 23rd for three nights. The facility was very spacious, and I always felt like I was staying at a resort. Since it was a trip for a special anniversary, I was very happy to receive a drink service ticket when I ordered a cake to be delivered to my room. I received discount coupons that could be used within the hotel based on the cleaning service of my room. The room was also large with high ceilings, allowing me to spend time in a relaxing atmosphere. It's expected to have many bugs in a warm place, but since I wasn't used to it, dealing with them was quite challenging, though I think it became a good memory. One disappointing point was that the outlet on the bedside table was not working, and while it was repaired, the extension phone at the same location stopped working afterward. I had to go to the front desk to request room service and repairs. Since the facility is large, it felt a bit bothersome to make a trip to the front desk. Overall, the pool and ocean were beautiful, and I could enjoy the sunset as well. At the BBQ venue, there was a shamisen show unique to the island, and I had a great time right from the first day! We stayed as a family of three with our 2-year-old child. Suddenly, the child's health deteriorated at the airport, and they kindly accommodated our unexpected early check-in. They quickly lent us necessary items like ice packs and a thermometer, and the staff's response was very kind. There were many families with toddlers in the hotel, and the staff seemed experienced in dealing with children's health issues, which allowed us to have a worry-free experience on our first trip with a child. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bathtub, but it took about a 5-minute walk to reach central facilities like the pool and front desk, which felt a bit far for me during my pregnancy. Because the grounds are large, I recommend confirming the location of the room before booking for those using wheelchairs or strollers. The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from the city center, which is ideal for relaxing within the resort, but it may be inconvenient for those who want to go into town frequently. However, there are three restaurants within the hotel that are easy to use with children, and we enjoyed our meals without worry. This hotel is particularly recommended for those on their first trip with children or those who want to relax by the pool or beach.

I came to Ishigaki Island for the first time on vacation. On the first day, a typhoon was approaching, and the rain and wind were intense, but since it was a resort hotel, there was shuttle service on the premises and at least two types of restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so I never got bored. There was also an indoor pool, gym, spa, and large public bath, so I was able to enjoy myself even with bad weather. From the third day on, the weather improved, and I participated in another snorkeling tour, but since it is a well-known hotel, they picked me up. The facilities made me feel like I was on an isolated island, and there was also a water server service, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. There were many families with children.

“I am generally satisfied, but...”
Overall, I am satisfied. The hotel's facilities, the kindness of the staff, and the hygiene were all satisfactory. I can recommend it. However, there are some areas that could be improved, so I would like to leave a few comments. 1. Incorrect room assignment - I was assigned to a different room than the type I reserved, and on the day of check-in around 5-6 PM after swimming, I had to move to another room while washing up, which prevented me from seeing the sunset. When I was given the room key with my name printed on it at the reception, I mentioned that although the surname matched, the first name was different, and even checked my passport, but they insisted that the room was correct, leading to the need for me to move. While I was moving rooms, the staff member who made the mistake was still on duty, yet other staff members came out to apologize and take follow-up actions, while that employee did not acknowledge the situation at all. 2. Difficulty in handling lost items and communication - On the day of departure after a 3-night stay, I realized that I had left my phone in the bathroom only upon arriving at the airport. I tried to contact the hotel in a hurry, but as a traveler, I usually use a data-only SIM card and couldn't make phone calls. Therefore, I sent messages through the "contact us" section of the website and through Twitter and Instagram DM, but did not receive any response until two hours later, just before my departure time. The email reply came the following morning after I had already left. As the situation is still ongoing, I do not know how it will conclude. The two issues mentioned above are problems that can be adequately handled or prevented with proper training or a manual. I believe the staff could confirm both the first and last names when assigning rooms and that the cleaning staff could have checked the room and reported any lost items during the checkout process. Additionally, I had breakfast for three days, but the menu hardly changed. There is a severe shortage of parking space in the two-week parking lot. Tip for visitors: There is a cart available for free use within the hotel, so make sure to take advantage of it. The wellness center at the North Wing is quite far.
