Paradise in a Paradise ”
This was our third trip to Maldives and we looked at least 50 properties on various websites before picking up a paradise called FushiFaru. It was our 11th marriage anniversary and did we make the right choice not only about each other but also about the resort:). A breath taking 35 minute ride from the Male International Airport, with a 10 minute wait at the VIP lounge. A greeter from Fushifaru handling everything at the airport. We landed at the resort and were greeted by beautiful folk dance and music. The remaining 6 days flew by. Like most of the mentions on this thread, our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to spend on this beautiful island and more importantly with the beautiful people of Fushifaru. Our server Mr. Horoon, was one step ahead with every little requirement of ours, excellent suggestions and each or our meals were made special because of his presence. He made us feel at home from the 1st instance. Dropping a few anecdotes about the island, a few pieces of information about the country and more importantly what to eat. I think everyone needs a Horoon in their lives. Also at the Korakali restaurant was this lively and vibrant server Shivani who made each of our meals bright by infusing a lot of laughs and witty conversations in them, the food and Shivani both were a treat. Our evenings were spent looking at the seting Sun at the Fanihandi bar, where along with the drinks were 2 flowing butterflies, Diksha and Jyoti or DJ. Both were phenomenal hosts at the bar and made each evening special. You can’t write about a bar and not mention the bartender, Hemraj. I don’t know what was better the cocktails or his moves while making them. A world class bartender with on’t know 5-6 bottles in the air while making them. I lost count! You can’t go to Maldives and not do Scuba. Chris was an absolute delight to make the Scuba experience even better. She passed on her knowledge and her calmness which made it a learning and an exhilarating experience.

We can highly recommend Fushifaru!! It was unforgettable experience and we would definetely come back!! Hotel is quite new, just 2 years old. Island is small, just 15 minutes to cross around, that's exactly what we were looking for, very less people, very quite and beatiful. Just relax.... All villas are very comfortable and big, all have amazing sea view and direct access to beach. Sunrise side is windy, sunset side is calm. We chose sunrise side and for us it was excellent! It takes around 30-40 minutes to get here from Male by seaplane. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to our manager Yen!! Food in restaurants is excellent and always big choice, every day is different menu. Very nice infinity pool near the bar. Try cocktail called Blue Maldives, our favourite. There is dive center who will arrange very good excursions for snorkeling or diving, also different water activities available such as paddle board, kayak, water bicycle and so on.

Quite a wonderful experience during my time at Fushifaru hotel. Whatever the high values water villa I stayed, the greeting, meals, gym, in-villa dinings. Snorkeling and the natural beauty around. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The bodyguide Chelsea, the staffs were all friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Honeymoon ”
Great honeymoon! The staff was very kind most of the times. We took the half board, which was definitely enough in our opinion. The food was great, variety of food. In Korakali they had different cuisine in every dinner. The Arabian cuisine was very delicious! The spa facilities are poor. There is no indoor facilities for rainy days (except gym). We took water villa premium pool, it’s beautiful as in the pictures and even more! Note that the winds are stronger there. There are many happy hours with great discount on the alcohol. The public pool was perfect! Many spots to take wonderful photos!

We were in Fushifaru 12 days between 24th Jan - 05th Feb. It was amazing time for me and my family, we enjoyed a lot. First of all I would like to write some gratitudes about the hotel and their staffs: thank you for tasteful and variety food for chef Karib; thank you for the best waiter and the best maker of the flat white Wifag; thank you for the good fruit service Hana; and thank for our host Ahmed. All of them were really very nice and at the same time our cleaning boy 114 were good, he cleaned our room several time and all the time on time before we come (but I do not remember his name). All of them gave us good value of joy and relax. if we think about negative's in this wonderful island I can tell only about corals, because it was dead and about some construction rubbish which should be collected (not dug to the sand again near the beach otherwise it will come up again ))) ). In general it was our best Maldives experience and I will recommend this place because of quality food and friendly staff.

Wonderful island, staff exceptional ”
This was a superb trip. The staff absolutely stood out, they were exceptional throughout. It’s a small island but each area has beach (water bungalows excluded). The swimming is the best we have seen in 7 visits. Chefs couldn’t have tried harder to cope with a gluten free request. Excursions and extras such as diving and special meals slightly pricey but overall a wonderful 10th wedding anniversary.

Tiny island for relax”
Spent 8 nights at Fushifaru Maldives. Very positive general impression of the property and staff. The hotel is quite new, just few months of operations. Owned and ran by Maldivian management Team. The guys are professional, nice and client orientated. Mr. Afeef will take care of all your needs 24/7. Smooth check in, quite good in villa dining, very sound and tasty a la cart restaurant with Number One Maldivian Chef - you will not stay hungry. Sunset side is perfect for swimming this season, sunrise is a bit windy and rough. The beaches are clean and very romantic, nothing disturbs the vistas. Highly recommended for couples, nor recommended for kids, as the island is small and they can get bored. Some points require management's attention: Fushifaru definitely needs a dedicated lounge in Seaplane terminal. Hotel should make a deal with TMA to dispatch the guests NLT 1.5 hour after international flight arrival. The internet channel could be faster. If this done it will be a paradise.

New nice resort in Maldives”
This was our second visit to Maldives. First time we have visited bigger resort, and this time we have decide to try Fushifaru. Everything was great, event better then first time. Sunset Beach Pool vila is perfect, with modern equipment and furniture. Staff is polite and friendly. Island is 40min away from Male with sea plane. Beach is very good. Pros: - New resort with modern equipment - Great staff - Good beach - Nice pool - Good options for water sports - Free water, coffee and tea in rooms - Bathrooms are state of art, you will enjoy in every second - Free alcohol during dinner time in restaurant Cons: - Food - it should be better. Chefs are doing they best, but diversity and quality of food must be on higher level for 5 star resort. - There are traces of construction works on island and in water. - A little bit overpriced Tip: if you booked just breakfast, email resort in front to take a dinner as well, for us it was $49 per person per day and it is best option.

Heaven in Maldives”
Since we arrived at Fushifaru we belived we were in a fairy tale. The wellcome from all staff on the deck was a great surprise! Then, when we moved to our Water Villa we couldn't belive how BIG and AMAZING it was. So easy to get into the sea due the water just cover my legs. Breakfast and Dinner were so good and every day they change enough to be different dishes. We have to say thanks to our waiter Riley. Fushifaru team in special (Afeef, Chealse and Riley) give us the best Honeymoon ever thought. Best experience in Maldives. You can see lot of fishes in there!! If you like snorkel it's a really good spot.

Exceptional”
This island is very small, but was everything I expected from the Maldives - crystal clear water, peaceful, beautiful beaches and scenery and not many other guests around. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to please you and make your stay the best it can be. Perfect for couples and honeymooners. I was a little worried being a solo traveler heading to the Maldives, but it’s the perfect place to go if all you want it a relaxing, peaceful break. A week was enough time, any longer and I would of felt restless. Overall it was amazing.

We were in fushifaru for a week and there was an initial hiccup with one of our luggage’s not arriving on time cos the sea plane could only get it on the next trip, which was a couple of hours later. Barring that we had a fabulous stay at the property. The staff are all very friendly and helpful esp when our toddler fell ill and arrangements were quickly made to take us to the doctor in the next island. Highly recommend the sand bank picnic it was really beautiful and worth it. We did snorkelling and that was a good experience too. Overall we loved staying at fushifaru and would recommend the place to all. Room service is quick and the rooms are cleaned twice a day.

Nice Resort Run by Excellent People”
Our bedroom, Sunset Beach Pool Villa has all necessities in place. It is completed with a spacious outdoor bathroom. However, the room seem to lack of the "surprises" that guests look out for. Food was definitely their weakest link. Very little variety to choose from and the taste was only at acceptable level. Overall, the hardwares on the island are acceptable but still lacking. Nonetheless, all these were compensated by the excellent pro-guest service that they provide. I fell ill on the second day of our stay. The island did not have a clinic and they arranged a speedboat to ferry us to a nearby local hospital for free and our resident host (Chelsea) accompanied us throughout the visit. Apart from checking on me several times, he also waited at the dining area to make sure I made it for dinner that one night. This dedicated service from Chelsea is the best that I had ever encountered throughout my travels to Maldives. We will definitely revisit for the people.

we had a wonderful time at fushifaru, it's a lovely small island, its water, beach, rooms are all beautiful! the staff there were all warm hearted and helpful, the hotel room itself is a fantastic, if I have a house in future near to sea, I would like to design it in exactly same way! even though it's little far from Mali, but the seaplane experience is also worth the money as you will see the beautiful lagoons from above; we did snorkeling, jet ski, paddling etc, and all went perfectly well. saw rainbow when we were doing paddling, so beautiful! the only regret is we didnot go for dolphins, next time!
