A hidden Gem Haven”
Gaia oasis generally leaves so much sweet memory and pictures to us, making it worth while to visit Bali. The pictures and words don't do the justice. We stayed in pantai (beach resort) and I am glad we made that decision. Bungalow we stayed in (11B butterfly) has huge Wraparound balcony looking out to the green lush lawn and ocean. room is large with high ceilings, beautiful architecture and detailed deco, with 4 french doors across so you can see sunrise and sunset on the beach. The outdoor bathroom is well put together and romantic. Shuttle can take u to the mountain site for a sunrise peaceful yoga session. The yoga site is facing out to a green large pond, where you can absolutely feel the connection to nature and to yourself. Breakfast could be done up on the mountain resort if you tell the staff. You can take advantage enjoying both sites while staying in one site. The salt pool on the mountain looks out to the horizon green landscape. the beach pool is just as well inviting and beautiful, and cozy with wraparound greeneries, while you can do lap swim. Both pools have cabanas for an afternoon nap or body work (I mean massage session or such :-) We came in February, off seasons, so there were no crowd. And I felt like we owned the place. There were some families with small children and they looked like regulars on their family vacation. There was a group seminar there and I could tell how much they enjoyed the stay. Gaia offer other service and entertainment to group stay, so we were so lucky to join them watching the cultural performance at night. Staff speak fluent English and were supper friendly and helpful, making the stay a luxury, not just comfort. I love lunch on the beach. We just told them we wanted lunch order some time. Then a staff brought menu to the pool for me to order. Later we were told it was ready and they would serve whenever we want and to wherever we want. there was no mosquitoes on pantai. Abadan is on the other hand had too much.

Lovely remote resort”
This is a lovely peaceful resort. The staff are friendly and efficient and the general vibe is relaxed. Although the rooms are basic they are clean and comfortable. If you are not rushed for time, I would recommend a few nights here. It does take some time to get to the resort as Tejakula is quite far from Ubud where we were based and once there, there is not much to do other than unwind and relax.

A lovely place to relax and practise Yoga”
We had a short stay there and enjoyed it very much. The stuff was very helpful when we lost some important documents and realized this just being 100km away from Gaia Oasis. The searched and found the documents, scanned them and sended them via eMail and fax to our next location. Great! The location is beautiful and quit and You can practise Yoga there.

Eco Hotel on North Shore - Peaceful”
My stay was good. The hotel is very eco-friendy. The food was actually the highlight...they have an excellent chef..some of the best food I have had in Bali was here. Breakfast is fantastic. Don't come for the beaches...they are not that pretty. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Do a side trip to the water fall - was a highlight. Do stop at Mt. Batur on your way over to see the mountain..another big highlight. If you love Yoga - they have a great yoga room at Gaia. You also have a free shuttle to go to their sister property in the mountains...well worth it.

An Oasis of Tranquility - A great place to unwind”
The Gaia Oasis is a wonderfully quiet hotel focused on relaxation & meditation. If you are looking for a relaaxing out of the way location - then look no further. It is a small walk to the local traditional village - not a souvenir in sight! The room we stayed in was amazing - large room, four poster bed and a huge balcony from which we could see the ocean and the sun rise. I loved our hammock on the balcony! The outdoor bathroom was divine. The gardens are immaculate, the pool very clean and the staff & service excellent. Complimentary tea, coffee, water etc are available all day and a lovely afternoon tea is included. Breakfast and dinner are served as a small buffet - lovely tasty food. Not a great deal to see locally without hiring transport but plenty of tours are available. We hired motorbikes and got around easily. Probably not a place for children and definitley not the place if you are looking for nightlife! We loved our stay there. Our transfer to Amed was expensive - otherwise we thought our stay was good value. i would definitely recommend this hotel

A hidden paradise...”
Gaia Oasis is indeed an oasis. It feels like a hidden paradise. Access to the hotel is only through a narrow path which makes it accessible only on foot or motorbike. The energy is very soothing, the rooms are just a few meters from the beach which are covered in a carefully groomed garden. The staff is warm and polite, and treatment is very personalized. Gaia is also supporting a number of projects in the community, from recycling to educational programs. Gaia does not feel like a hotel, it is more like a retreat spot for relaxation, isolation, mediation, and appreciation.

Great hotel and a paradise in the middle of chaos”
Stayed 3 nights in a bungalow. Beautiful place, well maintained overall with attention to detail. Beautiful clean oasis in and a contrast to the surrounding areas that are not so clean as most of the countryside in Asian countries. Restaurant is nice and quite low prices, food is good. Only complaint that we wanted to extend for an additional night and even tho our bungalow was going to be empty they wanted to charge us double (said to be full price) price for the extra night. Could not agree to that so we left and that left a bit of a bitter aftertaste.
