Best hotels & accommodations in Galena
Very pretty hotel. The rooms were very nice and even though we did not have the breakfast, it looked quite nice as well. The pool/hot tub area was very large and well lit. Plenty of seating. Beautiful entry way as well.
The gentleman who checked us in was wonderful! So helpful! The only complaint was the air conditioner was a little noisy.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It is clean, has a terrific breakfast, and the room was spacious and clean. If they offered nicer/fluffier towels, this hotel would move up in ranking even further!
We are so happy to have chosen The Aldrich Guest House for this trip, I don't see us ever picking differently in the future. Everything you hope for in a B&B and so much more.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It is clean, has a terrific breakfast, and the room was spacious and clean. If they offered nicer/fluffier towels, this hotel would move up in ranking even further!

OK to spend the night, but certainly not a place to spend a week. Looks like it was a pretty nice facility when first built, but now suffers from lack of maintenance. If your destination is Galena, the location is somewhat inconvenient. Staff is neutral— not really bad, but pretty much unable to see and solve problems— possibly inadequate training & experience.
We are so happy to have chosen The Aldrich Guest House for this trip, I don't see us ever picking differently in the future. Everything you hope for in a B&B and so much more.
