Art hotel in progress ”
From the entrance the walls are covered with wall paintings from top to bottom, the room has been painted as well and decorated with a huge chandelier, all in a very modern fashion. There were still some smaller work left to be done in the room, our make up mirror was not attached to the wall, fixtures were not “all there” but they explained at check in that they were still doing some work so I guess...? Breakfast was great! Not ready made buffet style, but cooked! Staff was friendly and very helpful, and most importantly, the location of this place is fantastic! Close to everything!

Mixed Feelings”
First off - the hotel location is perfect. It just doesn't get any better than this. Next, the staff were absolutely amazing. Always smiling and ready to help. We felt very welcomed, which I can't say for most hotels in Italy. The only drawback is that the hotel is under renovation and that kind of made it a bit weird for us as there was construction happening on site and some facilities in the room were not fully functional. Regardless, it surprisingly didn't bother us much as the room was pretty spacious and again - the staff were simply amazing.

We travelled with our baby son. Everyone was very friendly. The view on the gallery just stunning. We couldn’t have had a better stay and would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.

Charming and quaint, but by no means a 5 star hotel. Very kind and helpful staff, but my room at least was in need of some renovation work. Further puzzling, was no CNN? If the latter were to be resolved, I'd go back.

Resting on artistic laurels”
The staff seemed a little young and inexperienced. They only knew the very obvious information about Milan and as concierge were quite unhelpful. I made all my arrangements as their suggestions were very touristy and not interesting. For example - they only suggested restaurants that were visible to the hotel and in my opinion those restaurants do not have the best food in Venice. They didn't know about La Scala timings and where to suggest for pre / post opera. They weren't familiar with more of the sophisticated tour companies, and simply gave me websites for the main booking sites. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The decoration is quite sparse, as is typical with mid-century Italian style, with an emphasis on the artwork in each room. However, some additions are necessary to give it a live of comfort synonymous with a 5* hotel. Wastepaper baskets in the room, a speaker for music, something underfoot when you step out of the bed in the morning on to parquet floor. Housekeeping was very late in the day - around 3.30pm and when they came they didn't understand that an upside down bottle of champagne meant it was finished and could be cleared so they left it all there. I think a little training in 5* expectations would go a long way. The location is fabulous and they were very good to us when we requested a room change to have a bath (a request made on first booking). The whole hotel is like an art gallery which made it hard to leave. The breakfast staff were brilliant and we had a wonderful time.

The new pictures in lobby is against the Muslim religion it is so road to see . I am regular guest every your after this time i will never come again . No tv in room unless you ask, The breakfast is so poor not like before..

I would like to give the staffs a 10 stars review if I could do that. Especially Mr Maurizio, he’s helpful, kind, and we are so lucky to have him to assist us. The hotel is located at prime location, convenience to everywhere, the hotel room is clean, view is good and all the staffs are helpful. We felt welcome with the hotel.
